    Micia Mosely is the founder and director of The Black Teacher Project, a program of The National Equity Project committed to developing a Black teaching force to transform schools into communities of liberated learning. Prior to leading this work, she was a National Training Specialist with The Posse Foundation. Mosely began her career as a high school social studies teacher before earning her Ph.D. in Education from U.C. Berkeley. She is a published researcher whose work focuses on race and professional development. Also a successful theater artist and performer, Mosely tours the nation with her socio-political stand-up comedy.     State Terror Roundup:  The Federal Oversight in Oakland is coming to and end: yesterday a court in Oakland headed byJudge William Orwick, who has been overseeing the Oakland Police Department’s 23 year federal oversight program compared the Oakland Police Department reaching the completion of all 51 tasks, given to them 23 years ago – the judge compared the completion of this task to a sports moment. He compared it to building a major league baseball franchise … the judge – the legal say so for accountability and oversight for the Oakland Police Department compared the cops getting to a place where they will say that OPD is fit to not have any oversight … to a sports game… Then, community advocate with Voice of the Youth Berry Accius responds to the brutality by law enforcement officer Bianca Camacho hitting repeatedly (captured on camera) a teenager in Fairfield, California.
