American Giants Episode 48 | The Nephilim Were Here — And So Was Something Else

Four dragon friends and dark web theologians — buckle up, because this one has been a LONG time coming. Giant June month is coming to a close, and I saved the best for last. This episode has been one of the hardest I've ever had to record (and if you know anything about giant hunters and the "interference" that tends to follow them, you might understand why), but we made it. Today we're diving deep into American giants — the bones, the legends, the Native accounts, and the stuff the Smithsonian doesn't want you thinking too hard about. Here's what might surprise you: not all giants were Nephilim. We're breaking down two distinct types of gigantism — human gigantism, which may have been completely normal in the pre-flood world, and Nephilimic or hybrid gigantism, which operates on a whole different level. I'll explain why, using the concept of angelic hyperdimensionality, and honestly once you hear it, you won't be able to unhear it. We're also getting into: Why Native American elders consistently report that their ancestors were far larger than modern humansFirsthand accounts from John Smith, Thomas Jefferson, Spanish explorers, and others who literally met giantsThe red-haired cannibals of Lovelock Cave and the Paiute's brutal three-year war against themPassaconaway — a 7-foot shaman who could make water burn, control storms, and lived to 120The Comanche legend of white giants who ruled the land before the settlers came... and the warning that came with itBones ranging from 7 feet to an 18-footer found in Pennsylvania with a 9-foot swordDouble rows of teeth, horned skulls, impenetrable skin, and moreThis is Part 1 of a four-episode series on American giants. Part 2 is going to go hard on the burial mounds, the Smithsonian coverup, and secret societies. You don't want to miss it. If you're new here — welcome. This is the channel where we explore the fringes through a Christian theological lens, we take the Bible seriously, and we ask the questions most people are afraid to ask. Stick around. 📌 Show Notes & Links: 🔗 Landing Page: https://solo.to/thectdw 🛒 Merch Store: https://ctdw.printful.me/ 📖 Revising Reality by Josh Peck et al. — https://www.amazon.com/Revising-Reality-Biblical-Look-Cosmos/dp/1537541269 📖 Giants on Record by Jim Vieira & Hugh Newman — https://www.amazon.com/Giants-Record-Americas-History-Smithsonian/dp/0956786510 📖 Red Earth, White Lies by Vine Deloria Jr. 🎬 Think Again Productions with Ali Siadatan — https://thinkagainproductions.com/ If you want a deep dive on pre-historic American giant wars between the black-bearded and red-bearded races — drop it in the comments. Giant June Begins!!!

Giants Episode 1 — June is Giants Month Alright guys, we're kicking off Giants Month and I could not be more fired up about this topic. Shelly and I are finally in the same room for this one — which is weird and awesome — and we're diving deep into something we've touched on before but never really broken down the way it deserves. This episode, we're going back to the beginning. And I mean the beginning — Genesis 3:15, the Proto-Evangelion, the seed war. Because if you want to understand giants, you have to understand where the whole conflict starts. From there we walk through Genesis 6, the Sons of God, the Nephilim, and what it actually means that these beings took women by choice — the women didn't choose. We get into the pre-flood world, why everything was bigger back then (humans, trees, animals — all of it), what changed after the flood, and why the post-flood giants are a different animal entirely. We also cover the classes of giants you find throughout the Bible — the Anakim, the Rephaim, the Emim, the Zamzummim, Goliath, and King OG of Bashan, whose iron bed was thirteen and a half feet long. That's not symbolic, guys. Shelly brings up Corinthians, we talk about the Book of Jubilees and Noah's grandson uncovering hidden knowledge from the Watchers, we go deep on whether the incursions post-flood were more angels coming down or humans seeking them out — and I've got a strong opinion on that. And at the end I want to share something that kind of hit me while I was thinking about this episode. When people say they're "fighting their giants" — they're more right than they know. Suit up. Does Japan have a Divine Council? - CTDW Episode 47

Shinto: The Way of the Gods | Ft. Austin Cox (Catholic Kappa)It's been almost a year since we had Austin Cox back on the show, and we hit the ground running on one of the most fascinating topics I've read about in a long time — Shinto, the ancient native belief system of Japan.I recently picked up a book on Shinto from the library almost on a whim, and I couldn't put it down. The deeper I got, the more my brain was on fire. There are layers here that most Westerners never get to see — the etymology of the word itself ("the way of the gods"), the ancient creation myths of Izanami and Izanagi, the ritual purification practices, the concept of Kami, and just how many wild parallels exist with ancient Near Eastern belief — including Hebrew cosmology.Austin and I talk through the Jomon and Yayoi periods, how modern Shinto formed around the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki, why Japan is unlike anywhere else spiritually, and what it means that this religion has no traceable founder — nature itself is considered its origin. We also go deep on some things that genuinely kept me up at night: the four souls doctrine, soul fracturing, mortuary tablets, mirrors as spiritual conduits, Kozyrev's Mirror, Tulpas, and how all of it connects to what we see playing out in our world right now.Austin also shares about his incredible ministry Ukon's Lantern Ministries, his upcoming EWTN documentary on Blessed Ukon Takayama, and a book recommendation from Pope John Paul II — Ecclesia in Asia — that I'm already tracking down. This one went long for a reason.

What does Spiritual Warfare Look Like - CTDW Episode 47

🔥 Are You Actually Ready for Spiritual Warfare — Or Just Pretending? Most Christians talk about spiritual warfare like it's a bumper sticker. But what does it actually look like when hell breaks loose in your life, your family, and your mind? In this raw, unscripted episode of Dark Web Theologians, we go deep into what it means to war in the heavenlies — not the churchy cliché version, but the real, exhausting, tear-stained, 2AM kind. From battling isolation and intrusive thoughts, to praying across state lines for a sister in crisis, to understanding WHY the enemy carpet bombs instead of fighting clean — this episode will rewire how you see the fight you're already in. In this episode: Why God's motive for ALL warfare is family — and why that should be yours tooThe David & Goliath moment everyone misses (the real spiritual battle came AFTER)Isaiah 54:17 — the part of the verse everybody forgets that changes everythingHow principalities work differently in different regions (yes, it matters where you live)Why the enemy prefers the pew over the battlefieldThe Art of War vs. spiritual warfare — Sun Tzu never saw this comingWhat it means that the church is called to demonstrate God's wisdom to demonsWhy you need a phalanx, not a prayer chain💬 "The enemy spends more time in church than the most devout saint." ⚔️ "There are no non-participants in this war." 🛡️ "Make sure you have enough people to pick you up and not leave you behind." Whether you're in the middle of it right now or you've been sleepwalking through it — this episode is for you. 👇 Drop a comment: What does spiritual warfare look like in YOUR life? 🔔 Subscribe so you don't miss the next episode — Does Japan Have a Divine Council?
