Dry Creek Wrangler Podcast

I'm so grateful to God for Dewayne's podcasts - Dry Creek Wrangler School and Tack Room Bible Talk. I'm also grateful for his wife's YT channel, Dry Creek Momma. I have learned so much from them. My life has changed greatly due to their sharings. I am especially grateful to learning how to read the Bible. I hope they read this review. I was in great darkness and suffering from terrible indoctrination of a religion. I did not know that I was in a prison without bars. God bless them!

I’m of the left but this is my favorite podcast. I don’t agree with everything he says but I really look up to this guy. He’s calm, down to earth, sensible, and overall he’s got a lot of wisdom.

Ironically, this guy’s theology boils down, “well this is my truth because this is what the Bible means to me,” which is the same type of thinking he can’t stand. He has no formal training in theology, which is clear if you listen to him. For example, he claims dispensationalism wasn’t invented by Darby, but he doesn’t cite a single person who held that theology before the 19th century. The obvious reason is that Darby did in fact create it. If you challenge this self-appointed “preacher,” he just tells you to read the Bible more (apparently based on the assumption that your interpretation will eventually match his). Same with the rapture… and same with plenty of other topics. I’m really not sure why he expects people to listen to him when he’s just spitballing based on his feelings about what scripture means. His beliefs are novel, are only held by a tiny group of American Protestants, and he can’t defend them. I suggest people just ignore this podcast.

With today’s crazy world it’s men like Dewayne holding together passing on wisdom and mindset to the next generation of men. Thank you sir
