Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Prelude to a Wedding Review

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Andrea gave Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Prelude to a Wedding a full five out of five, calling it the strongest entry in the series since the premiere. Eric landed at three (nudged up to a 3.75 after some back and forth), mostly because the mystery itself doesn't give viewers enough to work with. Eric and Andrea break down the Ireland setting, the love triangle between Eamon, Griff, and Inspector O'Reilly, a Sister Sister trivia detour, and their picks for what to watch next if this one worked for you. What You'll Hear: • Andrea's five out of five case for why this is the strongest Haunted Harmony entry yet • Eric's three out of five (later revised up) and the "over the top" moments that held him back • A full breakdown of the wedding mystery, including why the killer's reveal barely gives viewers a fair shot • The love triangle between Eamon, Griff (Marco Grazzini), and Inspector O'Reilly, and which pairing they're actually rooting for • Character Corner on Sunny the bride, and why she avoided every social media influencer cliche • Hallmark trivia: the Sister Sister connection, Tamara Bree teaching herself violin for the role, and Marco Grazzini's real life partner turning up in next week's movie • Recommendations for fans who want more bridal murder mysteries, from Murder, She Wrote to Brokenwood Mysteries and McDonald & Dodds • The IMDb score and live viewer poll results • A preview of next week's reviews: A Harvest Wedding and Falling Into Place 0:00 - Intro and Catching Up with Andrea 4:40 - Mystery News and the Hallmark Plus Price Hike 6:39 - Prelude to a Wedding Synopsis and Andrea's 5/5 Review 12:01 - Eric's Review: Beret Watch and a 3/5 Verdict 18:35 - The Mystery: Solid Twist, Not Enough Clues 23:41 - The Love Triangle: Eamon, Griff, and O'Reilly 26:32 - Character Corner: Sunny the Bride 28:53 - Hallmark Trivia: Sister, Sister and On-Set Secrets 31:45 - Hallmark and Chill: What to Watch Next 35:56 - IMDb Score and the Viewer Poll Results 38:11 - Next Week: A Harvest Wedding and Falling Into Place Andrea's giving this one a five, Eric landed at three. Garage Sale Mysteries: Picture a Murder Review

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Andrea made Eric watch Garage Sale Mysteries: Picture a Murder (2018) before the new one hits Hallmark Plus, and it turns into one of those episodes where the two of them do not entirely agree. Andrea gives it four out of five stars. Eric enjoyed the characters just as much, but thinks the mystery itself gets left in the dust.  What You'll Hear: • How Jen Shannon (Lori Loughlin) ends up investigating a decades-old camera and the cold case buried inside its film • Why Evan Roderick's tiny role, maybe four lines, still stole scenes for both hosts • The Steve Bacic hair joke that might genuinely have been an ad lib • Spotting Edward Ruttle from The Spencer Sisters and Michelle Harrison from Mystery Cruise in supporting roles • Andrea and Eric each picking a different suspect before the reveal, and only one of them getting it right • A real continuity goof involving rain, thunder, and two completely dry actors • Lori Loughlin and Steve Bacic trivia, including a Full House callback and a surprise Odyssey easter egg • Their pitch for who should take over the franchise if Garage Sale Mysteries gets more sequels • A Murder, She Wrote episode with a strangely similar photograph-driven mystery  Chapters: 0:00 - Intro: Andrea's Pick for Eric's Homework 1:20 - Picture a Murder: Setup & Cast 3:00 - Andrea's Verdict: 4 Out of 5 Stars 5:15 - Using the Whole Cast: Evan Roderick's Scene-Stealing Cameo 7:45 - Eric's Take: A Mystery That Takes a Back Seat 9:45 - Spotting the Familiar Faces: Spencer Sisters, Mystery Cruise & More 12:30 - Mystery Minute: Who Did It? 15:00 - Romance Roundup & the Case for a New Garage Sale Lead 18:00 - Character Corner: Danny and Evan 20:00 - Hallmark Trivia: The Editing Goof & Lori Loughlin Fun Facts 22:15 - Steve Bacic Trivia: Detroit Sports and The Odyssey 23:45 - Hallmark & Chill: Our Murder, She Wrote Connection 24:45 - What to Watch Next & the Best Kiss in Hallmark History 26:20 - Next Week: Prelude to a Wedding in Ireland  Andrea's giving this one four stars and Eric isn't fully sold on the mystery. Hallmark's Much About Love Review

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Eric and Andrea sit down with Hallmark's modern spin on Much Ado About Nothing, Much About Love, starring Ashley Williams and Niall Matter as feuding exes Beatrice and Benedict. Both hosts land on the same 3.5 out of 5 stars, but for very different reasons, and one wordless scene at a kitchen table nearly wins them over completely. Along the way, they also reveal the fall Hallmark movies they're each committing to review next, and neither one saw the other's pick coming. What You'll Hear: • Hallmark news: Brendan Morgan lands the lead in a new scrapbooking-themed Christmas movie opposite Lindura. • A look at what's airing this week, including Garage Sale Mysteries: Picture a Murder. • Andrea's fall movie shortlist, from a near-miss with Falling for Vermont to her pick for next review, 2017's A Harvest Wedding with Jill Wagner and Victor Webster. • Eric's fall movie shortlist, including a real debate over whether Dating the Delaneys even counts as a fall movie before he lands on Country at Heart with Jessy Schram and Niall Matter. • The full breakdown of Much About Love: what Ashley Williams and Niall Matter's chemistry pulls off, and where the plot's manufactured conflict loses them. • The standout scene: a wordless moment with crayons at a kitchen table that both hosts call one of the most romantic scenes of the year. • Two comfort-watch recommendations for fans of the Beatrice-and-Benedict banter, plus a spicy Murder, She Wrote episode that shares the movie's restaurant joke. • Trivia on Ashley Williams and the surprisingly rough road Niall Matter took to his first Hallmark role. Paris Is Always a Good Idea: The Series Finale Review

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Eric and Andrea close out Paris Is Always a Good Idea with the Hallmark+ series finale, Knightly Revisited. Lacey Chabert's Chelsea has to choose between the past and the guy waiting for her in the garden, and the two hosts don't fully agree on whether the finale earned it. Andrea is still ranking episode five higher, and Eric has a running list of gripes, from the wedding vows to why the big climax happened in Spain instead of Paris. What You'll Hear: • Andrea's take on the emotional kitchen scene between Chelsea and her dad, and why it hit harder than expected • A rundown of the finale's biggest musical moments, including Kelly Clarkson and Belinda Carlisle needle drops • Why Eric thinks the Hallmark+ subscription and its free greeting card perks are actually worth signing up for • A real disagreement over the storyline where Chelsea's mom kept her illness a secret before Chelsea left for Europe • Eric's case for why the Knightly reunion needed more tension, and why he thinks the climax belonged in Paris, not Spain • A look at the finale's oddly secretive wedding vows and the age gap behind the Annabelle twist • Eric and Andrea picking their standout scenes and ranking all three romances in the series • A quick preview of what's coming later this week: a Shakespeare-themed episode Chapters: 0:00 - Intro: Wrapping Up the Paris Is Always a Good Idea Finale 0:37 - A Library Mix-Up (Not the Most "Paris" Move) 1:24 - The Recap: What Knightly Revisited Is About 1:57 - What Andrea Loved: The Kitchen Scene, Karaoke & the Wedding Return 3:58 - Andrea's Verdict (and Why Episode 5 Still Wins) 5:02 - The Production Value: A Real Castle Wedding 5:44 - Eric's Highlights: Kelly Clarkson, Belinda Carlisle & Barbara Niven's Toast 8:36 - The Hallmark+ Perks Tangent (Free Greeting Cards) 10:59 - What Andrea Didn't Love: The Dying Mother's Secret 11:47 - The Unresolved Ending: Where Do They Even Live? 12:32 - Eric's Complaints: Zero Tension in the Reunion 13:41 - Paris vs. Spain: A Location Gripe 15:37 - The Weird "Secret" Wedding Vows 17:22 - Belinda Carlisle, Bopping, and the Annabelle Age-Gap Twist 19:40 - Standout Scenes: Chelsea's Dad and Karaoke Night 21:53 - Ranking the Three Romances 25:15 - What's Next: Much Ado About Nothing Andrea's sticking with episode five as the best of the series, and Eric's ranking Chelsea's dad and Sherrie's love story above the actual leads. Love Finds You Review

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Eric and Andrea review Love Finds You, the Fall Into Love kickoff starring Aimee Teegarden and Chris McNally as a jewelry designer and the delivery driver who gets pulled into her search for the rightful owner of a mislabeled package. Andrea gives it 4.5 stars. Eric calls that an insult and gives it five stars, no notes. Along the way they also cover the Garage Sale Mysteries premiere date, their fall movie watchlist, and what they've each been watching on BritBox and Acorn. What You'll Hear: • Andrea's rules for the "official" fall movie list, and why Lovestruck Cafe and Autumn Dreams didn't make the cut • Eric on Murdoch Mysteries hitting a rough patch in season ten, plus his current BritBox rotation (Return to Paradise, Brokenwood, Life on Mars, Blood, Ludwig) • The full synopsis and both hosts' star ratings for Love Finds You • Why the fire release ceremony scene had both of them singing along • The scene-stealing side characters (Christine Park as the BFF, plus Karina) and praise for director Eva Tavares • The one flaw they could find in the entire movie • Where Love Finds You ranks against the best Hallmark movies of the year so far • Similar movie recommendations if you loved this one • Aimee Teegarden trivia and behind-the-scenes secrets from the set  Chapters 0:00 - Cold Open: Lost Packages & Podcast Intro 1:15 - Up Next: Garage Sale Mysteries Hits Hallmark Channel 3:15 - Fall Movie Auditions: Lovestruck Cafe & Autumn Dreams 6:00 - Murdoch Mysteries Burnout Watch 7:30 - Eric's BritBox Rotation: Return to Paradise, Brokenwood, Life on Mars & Ludwig 9:45 - Love Finds You: The Synopsis 10:30 - Andrea's Rating: 4.5 Stars and the Fire Ceremony 14:00 - Eric's Rating: "This Is a Five" 17:00 - Scene-Stealing Side Characters & Director Eva Tavares 20:30 - The One Thing They Didn't Love 21:30 - Standout Scenes and the Fire and Aspire Callback 24:00 - The Romance, the Wrong Men, and the Conflict That Worked 28:00 - Movies to Watch If You Loved This One 30:30 - Ranking Love Finds You Against the Best of the Year 33:00 - Trivia: Aimee Teegarden, Friday Night Lights & Set Secrets 35:30 - Next Week: Garage Sale Mysteries & Much Ado About Love Andrea gave Love Finds You a 4.5 and Eric bumped it to a five. Paris is Always a Good Idea Episode 5 Review

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Eric and Andrea are back in Spain for episode 5 of Paris Is Always a Good Idea, "Marcos, Revisited," and this one hits harder than the rest of the season. Chelsea faces her final what if with Marcos at his vineyard, Dad pops the question to Sherry, and the Knightley breakup scene had Andrea in tears twice. Eric calls it his favorite episode of the series so far. What You'll Hear: • Why Marcos' ten-years-ago backstory made him the most stand-up guy of Chelsea's three options • Knightley's family backstory and the money-versus-heart contrast the show is building • Annabelle's watering can sneak attack and a house tour both hosts want to steal for themselves • The dad-and-Sherry proposal and confirmation that the Spain wedding is finally here • Why the closing voicemail scene got Andrea crying twice, and Eric's case for Lacey Chabert's best performance yet • The plot holes that bugged them: a $10,000 club soccer bill, a financial contradiction at Chelsea's company, and two dangling love interests for Annabelle • The ongoing complaint that Barbara Niven is criminally underused, five episodes in • A book-versus-show comparison, including the flower girl subplot that didn't make the cut • Predictions for the season finale, and what they're hoping to see at that wedding  Chapters 0:00 - Cold Open: Middle School Spanish Names 1:15 - Setting Up Episode 5: Chelsea's Final What If 2:30 - Marcos' Backstory: The Stand-Up Guy 4:00 - Knightley's Family Backstory and the Big Contrast 5:30 - Annabelle's Watering Can Ambush 7:00 - Chelsea's Secret Sacrifice for Knightley 8:15 - Dad Proposes to Sherry: The Spain Wedding Reveal 9:30 - The Voicemail Ending That Made Andrea Cry 11:00 - Episode Rankings: Eric and Andrea's Verdicts 13:00 - Lacey Chabert's Best Performance Yet? 14:45 - Debating the Breakup Scene's Logic 16:30 - What Didn't Work: Plot Holes and Loose Ends 20:00 - The Barbara Niven Problem 21:45 - Behind the Scenes: Filming in Paris and Spain, Plus the Hallmark Plus Pitch 23:15 - The Romance: Marcos vs. Knightley Chemistry 24:00 - Finale Predictions and Wedding Wishes Do you think Chelsea made the right call walking away from Knightley without giving long distance a shot, or should she have fought for it? Hallmark Channel's Aussie at Heart Review

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Eric and Andrea review Aussie at Heart, the Hallmark original starring Rhiannon Fish and Daniel Lissing as a former lawyer turned event planner and her ex coworker who reunite in Queensland to plan her parents' anniversary party. Andrea gives it a two and a half. Eric gives it a three. Both of them still rank it dead last of the three movies they've covered this month, thanks to a boat problem, a B-roll problem, and one of the laziest misunderstandings in the Hallmark playbook. What You'll hear: • A full recap of Samara and Nate's reunion in Queensland, planning her parents' anniversary while dodging their own history • Why Andrea can't get past the boat movie problem, and why she'd rather have a murder on that yacht • The vow renewal scene and a mother of the bride whose eye acting deserves its own award • A detour into KitchenAid mixers, Eric's wife's Hanukkah gift versus a mixer that's been in Andrea's family since the 1950s • Rhiannon Fish's performance measured against her turn in Our Norwegian Holiday • The B-roll overload, the old elevator music montages, and the classic Hallmark misunderstanding that sinks the third act • Movie and show recommendations for anyone who wants their boat drama with actual stakes • Trivia on Daniel Lissing's music career and whether Rhiannon Fish actually has an Australian accent • Where Aussie at Heart lands in Eric and Andrea's ranking of this month's three movies, plus a look ahead to A Love Finds You   0:00 - Intro: Boats, Beach Balls, and a Real Men Wear Hallmark Shirt 3:00 - The Recap: Samara, Nate, and an Anniversary in Queensland 4:30 - The Ratings: Andrea's 2.5 vs Eric's 3 6:30 - What They Loved: The Best Friend, the Vows, and the Fireworks 10:30 - Rhiannon Fish's Performance vs Our Norwegian Holiday 13:00 - The Chemistry Verdict 15:00 - What Didn't Work: B-Roll Overload and That Classic Hallmark Fight 20:00 - Standout Character: The Best Friend 21:30 - If You Liked This, Watch... 23:30 - Trivia: Daniel Lissing's Music and Rhiannon Fish's Real Accent 25:30 - Ranking Aussie at Heart Against This Month's Movies 27:00 - Next Week: A Love Finds You   Where do you land, closer to Andrea's 2.5 or Eric's 3? Hallmark Channel's Paris is Always a Good Idea Ep 4 Review

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Eric and Andrea are back in Paris for episode four of Paris Is Always a Good Idea, and it's the one both hosts agree has the most packed into it. Chelsea and Knightly finally close the distance between them, Lacey Chabert turns in what Eric calls her best Hallmark performance yet, and one subplot has the hosts split right down the middle. Andrea says it adds welcome variety. Eric says it's stealing time from the couple everyone actually tuned in for. Here's what Eric and Andrea get into: • Andrea's full recap of how Chelsea and Knightly's backstory comes together, plus the real Eiffel Tower shoot both actors talked about on Hallmark+ • A quick detour into why the Hallmark+ app keeps logging Andrea out, and why she's sticking with the $39 subscription anyway • The sister subplot debate: Andrea calls it welcome variety, Eric calls it a distraction from the main couple • Eric's case for why this might be Lacey Chabert's best Hallmark role yet, including the scene he calls the spiciest she's ever played • The donation numbers continuity hiccup both hosts caught in the nonprofit storyline • Why Knightly is the one pushing Chelsea toward her billionaire ex Marco, and what that says about his insecurity instead of hers • The standout scene both hosts pick, from the elevator kiss to the closing cab ride banter between Knightly and the sister • Predictions for the rest of the season, including who Marco really is and whether that castle wedding tease means what they think it does Chapters: 0:00 - Bonjour From Paris: Episode 4 Kickoff 1:15 - Recapping "Knightly": Chelsea and Knightly Grow Closer 4:00 - Spoiled by the App: The Hallmark+ Eiffel Tower Mishap 5:30 - The Sister Subplot Divides the Hosts 8:00 - Eric's Take: Lacey Chabert's Best Role Yet 11:00 - The Insecurity Twist: Why Knightly Pushes Chelsea Toward Marco 13:30 - The Big Debate: Is the Sister a Distraction or an Asset? 16:30 - Standout Scene: The Elevator Kiss (and That Cab Ride Callback) 19:30 - Rating the Romance: How Spicy Is Chelsea and Knightly? 21:30 - Season Predictions: Who Is Marco, and Does the Wedding Theory Hold? 23:30 - Sign-Off From Paris Where do you land: does the sister add welcome variety to Paris, or is she pulling focus from Chelsea and Knightly?
