Mom Group Chat

Mom Group Chat is a podcast for moms who are not perfect, but trying their best. We’re three best friends who have spent the past two years blowing up each other's phones for honest conversation around how our lives took a full 180 in the blink of an eye. We’re tired, we’re covered in yogurt, we’re obsessed with our baby’s chubby cheeks, we’re happiest alone in the car, and we’re trying to make sense of it all in our group chat. Join us as we take the conversation from the phone to the mic and dive into topics like mom guilt, family dynamics, pregnancy and fertility, healthy coping mechanisms 🧘🏻‍♀️, not so healthy coping mechanisms 🍷, female friendships 💞, trying to find one *single* pair of jeans that work for your postpartum body, and so much more. We’ll have guests, experts, and hear from our community because it takes a village, ya’ll. Bring your sense of humor because if you’re not laughing through motherhood, you’re probably crying. The only people that understand what it’s really like to be a mom, are other moms. So, hand the kids to dad for a few and welcome to our Mom Group Chat.

EP 156: The Mindf*ck of Motherhood with Lindsey Mango

What does a life coach actually do? And do you really need one if you already listen to podcasts, read the books, and consume all the self-development content? This week, we’re joined by life coach and mom of two Lindsey Mango for a conversation about coaching, motherhood, and the massive identity shift that happens when you become a mom. Lindsey breaks down what life coaching really looks like, how it differs from therapy, and the difference between consuming inspirational content and actually being coached. We also get into the stuff so many moms are quietly navigating: feeling like you’ve lost yourself, tying your worth to productivity, mom guilt, perfectionism, self-trust, and figuring out who you are on the other side of becoming a mother. Plus, Lindsey shares some of the coaching she finds herself giving moms over and over again, what she’s learning in her own season of motherhood, and why small, consistent mindset shifts can make such a big difference. Whether you’ve worked with a coach before, have always been curious about coaching, or have secretly wondered “isn’t that basically just therapy?” this episode is for you. EP 150: Due Date Groups

This week, we're diving deep into one of the most unexpected and meaningful parts of modern motherhood: due date groups. Whether you found yours on Facebook, Reddit, BabyCenter, or somewhere else entirely, there's something magical about navigating pregnancy, newborn life, toddlerhood, and beyond alongside thousands of moms who are in the exact same season as you. In this episode, we're sharing how due date groups have shaped our motherhood journeys, the friendships we've made, the support we've received during some of the hardest moments, and why these communities can feel like a true village in a world where so many moms feel isolated. Of course, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. We also talk about the challenges that can come with these groups, including comparison, differing parenting opinions, and navigating relationships online. If you've ever wondered whether joining a due date group is worth it, or if you've found yourself leaning on yours more than you ever expected, this conversation is for you. In this episode, we discuss: • What a due date group actually is and where to find one • Why being surrounded by moms in the exact same season is so powerful • The friendships and support systems that have come from our groups • How due date groups evolve from pregnancy through the preschool years • The challenges of comparison and differing parenting styles • Why these communities have made motherhood feel less lonely • Our favorite memories and biggest takeaways from being part of these groups As always, thanks for hanging out with us this week.
