Therapeutic to a T
I am but a humble supplicant in the mighty church of football, and if the likes of Maradona and Pele are my gods, these boys are my high priests. Every week I’m privileged to soak up the choicest footballing lore and banter like you wouldn’t believe. As someone who lives and breathes for the game, there really isn’t anything that scratches that itch better. If you love this sport as much as I do, you won’t find a better podcast. Keep it up forever lads.
It’s all in the title
Positive energy, loads of fun, no XG or tactical jargon in sight. Would subscribe for Adventures in Clubland alone, which are history lessons for the youth and shameless nostalgia trips for the rest of us. If you’re like me and are aging out of your competitive years and maybe wondering why you keep bothering with this sport: it does what it says on the tin.
Reminding You Why You Love Friendship
With one of my best friends moving halfway across the world for a few years, I worried that we would grow apart. Among the things that have kept us close is RYWYLF. I quickly realized that the pod is a perfect amalgamation of our friendship: rooted in obscure calcio trivia and appreciation for Czech giants while also accessing the importance of connection between human beings.
