Listen to me over on The Learning Alchemy Lab Podcast!

🎧 LISTEN TO THE FULL EPISODE ON DR. ALEXIS BJELICA'S POD: Listen on SpotifyListen on Apple Podcasts The best systems don't make your business less human. They help you care at scale. ❤️ I recently joined Dr. Alexis Bjelica's on her podcast, The Learning Alchemy Lab: A Modern Approach to Teaching Online, for a conversation about something I've been thinking about a LOT lately. What if giving your clients MORE is actually making it harder for them to get results? Dr. Alexis approaches online education and learning from a completely different perspective than I do, which made this conversation SO interesting. We talked about how to stop building offers around everything you COULD teach and start designing them around the ONE result you actually want your clients to achieve. In this episode, we dive into: 🍽️ The kitchen sink offer problem: Why adding more curriculum, resources, and support isn't always helping your clients succeed🎯 The question that changes everything: What result are we actually here to create?📊 How to track intangible client results: Yes, even things like confidence, mindset, and personal transformation can be measured!❤️ Why systems can make your business MORE human: How automation creates opportunities for more personalized support👻 Why clients quietly disappear: And how to build systems that catch disengaged clients before they slip through the cracks🔄 How I tested a completely new direction inside Systems Over Stress: Without throwing away my existing offer and starting from scratch One of the biggest lessons from my own offer refresh has been that MORE isn't necessarily BETTER. More curriculum doesn't automatically mean better results. More support features don't automatically mean better results. And more things for your clients to do can actually make it harder for them to achieve the ONE thing they paid you for. Sometimes the most impactful thing you can do is simplify. This is a short episode of Prove It because I'm sending you over to listen to our full conversation on Dr. Alexis's podcast! She's brilliant, and I highly recommend checking out the rest of her episodes, too. 🎧 LISTEN TO THE FULL EPISODE Listen on SpotifyListen on Apple Podcasts

How to Track Client Results and Build a Coaching Business That Actually Delivers with Dielle Charon & Ashley Rose

Your clients are paying you for a RESULT. But can you actually prove they're getting it? 👀 I recently joined my friend, sales coach, and longtime client Dielle Charon on her podcast, For the 23 Percent, for a conversation about one of my FAVORITE topics: CLIENT RESULTS. Dielle and I have worked together for years. She's been my sales coach, and I've been the Airtable brain behind many of the systems inside her offers. So this conversation was especially fun because we're both incredibly passionate about building coaching businesses that don't just make sales, but actually DELIVER. And we're getting into the practical stuff, too. In this episode, we talk about: 🎯 Why every offer needs ONE clear result, even if your clients get a hundred different benefits📊 How to track client results, including intangible things like confidence, identity shifts, and nervous system regulation👀 Why coaches are afraid to look at their client data and how to move past the fear of discovering clients aren't getting results🛠️ The simple results tracking system every coach needs, from onboarding baselines to recurring check-ins and collective client statistics💰 How client results become a sales strategy, giving you actual proof, testimonials, case studies, and confidence in your marketing❤️ How Dielle uses her Client Hub to handle unhappy clients, identify disengaged clients, and have productive conversations backed by data🚀 How to scale your client support without sacrificing results, using centralized notes, coaching submissions, and automated check-ins🔥 Why I'm completely repositioning Systems Over Stress around client results tracking and what that shift has taught me about trusting myself One of my favorite things Dielle says in this conversation is that your clients are going to have expectations whether you clearly communicate a result or not. So why not get really freaking clear about what you're promising, track whether you're delivering it, and use that information to make your offer BETTER? Because here's what I believe: A legitimate coaching business doesn't just promise results. It can PROVE it gets them. And the beautiful thing is that once you start tracking, the data doesn't just help your clients. It helps YOU become a more confident coach, a better business owner, and a much more effective marketer. Huge thank you to Dielle for having me! What Avoidance Is Actually Costing Your Business

I spent a lot of the last year avoiding parts of my own business. Not because I didn't care. But because I was afraid of what I might find if I actually looked. 😬 Unanswered emails. Client projects that needed to be closed out. Results I wasn't sure we were getting. Financial numbers I didn't want to look at. And instead of dealing with some of those things directly, I hired more people, created more distance between myself and client delivery, and hoped everything was going okay. The problem? AVOIDANCE WAS COSTING ME ACTUAL MONEY. In this episode, I'm getting really vulnerable about what avoidance looked like in my business, why I fell into it, and what happened when I finally decided to stop running away from the uncomfortable stuff. We're talking about: The sneaky ways avoidance shows up in your business, from unanswered emails to not knowing how many clients are actually in your programWhy fear of client reactions can keep you from following up, offboarding, or asking for feedbackHow I realized I was sometimes hiring and delegating to create emotional distance, not because the business actually needed more peopleWhat that extra payroll was doing to my profitabilityWhy stepping away from client delivery can also mean stepping away from the feedback loopThe story about my friend who thought he was swimming with sharks, only to discover they were dolphinsWhy facing the things you've been avoiding can actually feel WORSE before it feels betterHow having one centralized Client Hub made it so much easier to get back into my businessWhat happened when I finally looked at our client results, support tickets, and unfinished projectsHow I'm learning to respond to real problems instead of spending all my energy imagining worst-case scenarios Here's what surprised me most. When I finally started looking at everything I'd been avoiding, most of it was actually FINE. There were things to fix. Conversations to have. Systems to improve. But the reality was so much less scary than what I'd built up in my head. And once I could actually SEE what was happening, I could start making decisions, improving client results, and getting proactive again. You don't have to fix everything today. But what if you just LOOKED at the thing you've been avoiding? Because sometimes the problem isn't what's exhausting you. It's all the energy you're spending trying not to see it. — 👋CONNECT WITH ASHLEY Threads: https://www.threads.net/@systemsoverstress Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/systemsoverstress/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@systemsoverstress Website: https://systemsoverstress.co/ ✨ FREEBIE: CLIENT RESULTS ROADMAP GENERATOR Build your free Client Results Roadmap to define the result you want to be known for, what you should be tracking, and the proof you want to collect. 👉 Build Your Free Client Results Roadmap ☎️ WORK WITH ME: Ready to actually set up the systems to track your client results? Is AI a Deal Breaker? I Asked My Audience.

I asked 102 people in my audience how they feel about using AI to build their Airtable systems. And the results were REALLY interesting. 👀 I've been experimenting with Claude Skills to completely rethink how I teach people to build their Client Hubs inside Systems Over Stress. Instead of giving everyone a giant Airtable template full of tables and fields they might never use, what if you could explain your business to AI, get your strategy reviewed by an actual human (ME!), and then have AI help build a custom system for your offer? That's what I'm working on. But before going all in, I wanted to know whether my audience would actually WANT to use it. In this episode, I'm sharing: The results of my 102-person AI poll, including why only 4.9% said AI would be a deal breakerWhy 40% of respondents said GIVE ME ALL THE AI, while another 46% were open to using it with reservationsHow I'm experimenting with Claude Skills to make building custom Airtable systems significantly fasterWhy I'm keeping a HUMAN approval step before anyone builds their systemThe difference between using AI to build a system and knowing what system you actually needWhy I'm still teaching people how to build their systems manuallyHow AI-supported troubleshooting could help clients get unstuck without waiting for a support ticket responseWhy I don't want Systems Over Stress to become an AI courseWhat I learned from clients who want AI assistance but still want to understand how their systems actually work I'm also sharing a little update from my four-day digital detox in the redwoods, where I finally got to experience the adult summer camp I used to help run without having to be the person managing all the operations. 😂 The biggest takeaway? AI can make building your systems faster. But it doesn't replace knowing WHAT you should build in the first place. That's where the strategy comes in. And I'm really excited about what this could mean for the next version of Systems Over Stress. Client Fires Used to Send Me Into a Spiral. Not Anymore!

I woke up to client fires today. 😂 Automations going live. Clients needing edits. Questions coming in. Things that needed troubleshooting. And what's interesting is that a year ago, this kind of morning probably would've sent me into a complete spiral. Today? I handled it. Welcome back to my Results-Focused Offer Refresh, where I'm taking you behind the scenes as I wrap up the done-for-you side of Systems Over Stress and prepare for the next chapter of my business. In this episode, I'm talking about: Why client emergencies used to trigger my fight, flight, or freeze response, and what's changedHow I'm learning to handle urgent client requests without treating everything like a catastropheWhy I have a rule against complaining about clients in our team SlackHow unclear boundaries and scope can create client resentmentThe progress we're making on closing out every remaining done-for-you projectWhy I'm proud of the systems my delivery assistants built and the relationships they've developed with clientsHow some clients will continue working directly with their delivery assistants after our agency closesThe coaching and conversations helping me navigate this transitionMy experiments with Claude skills and AI-assisted Client Hub buildsThe challenge of continuing to promote my masterclass while wrapping up client deliveryWhy I'm preparing to spend four days completely off the grid before heading into launch mode One of the biggest things I'm noticing through this entire transition is how differently I'm responding to things that used to completely overwhelm me. An automation breaks? Okay. Let's figure out what happened and fix it. A client needs clarification? Let's communicate clearly and make a plan. A project needs to be wrapped up? Let's make sure everyone knows exactly what's left and what happens next. I'm not pretending everything is perfect behind the scenes. But I'm really proud of the fact that I'm not running away from the uncomfortable parts anymore. And I'm even prouder that we're closing out this chapter with happy clients, great systems, and a team that did really freaking good work. October is about finishing what we started. November is about launching what's next. I Pushed Back My Launch... Here’s Why (And Zone of Genius vs Zone Of Excellence)

I pushed back my launch. And weirdly... I feel REALLY freaking good about it. Today was one of my coaching days, and I went into it feeling overwhelmed trying to do two very different things at the same time: Wrap up the done-for-you side of my business REALLY well. AND prepare for a launch. Turns out, running an agency and a group program at the same time requires a LOT of energetic switching. 😂 And as I’ve been cleaning up not just my kitchen sink offer, but my entire kitchen sink BUSINESS, I’ve gotten really clear on something: Done-for-you implementation is my Zone of Excellence. It is NOT my Zone of Genius. I’m really freaking good at it. People pay me well for it. I’ve spent years mastering it. And it drains me. So in this episode, I’m talking about: The difference between your Zone of Excellence and your Zone of GeniusWhy being GOOD at something doesn’t necessarily mean you should build your business around itWhy I’m intentionally retiring a lucrative income streamWhat I believe my actual Zone of Genius is after six years of doing this workWhy I’m NOT recommending immediately killing an offer just because you’ve outgrown delivering itThe expensive mistake I made years ago when I shut down my profitable group program to launch a lower-ticket template shopWhy sometimes your Zone of Excellence needs to fund your transition into your Zone of GeniusThe two options I was considering for wrapping up our remaining done-for-you clientsWhy I ultimately decided to push the Systems Over Stress launch into NovemberThe question my coach asked that made the decision feel really obviousWhy giving myself more time means fewer sleepless nights, fewer skipped workouts, and a launch I can actually be fully present for October gets to be about CLOSING OUT. I want to wrap up every remaining done-for-you client beautifully and put a pretty freaking bow on this era of the business. Then I want to walk into November with a completely clean slate and say: LET’S LAUNCH THE THING. I could have technically done both. But just because you CAN carry everything at once doesn’t mean that’s how you want to run your business. And for maybe the first time, I had the financial breathing room, the coaching, and the self-awareness to simply buy myself more time. I Delegated So Much I Forgot I Was Good at This

I think sometimes when you delegate enough of your business, you can forget that you’re actually REALLY GOOD at doing the things. 😂 Today I’m coming off four straight hours of client delivery, including a three-hour VIP Day where we clarified a client’s result, built her results tracking, and set up her Client Hub basically from scratch. We finished EARLY. And I walked away thinking: Oh yeah. I know what the hell I’m doing. Welcome back to my Results-Focused Offer Refresh, where I’m taking you behind the scenes as I simplify my offers, get closer to my clients, increase profitability, and basically clean up not just my kitchen sink offer... but my kitchen sink BUSINESS. In this episode, I’m talking about: What I learned from stepping back into a three-hour VIP Day after phasing myself out of most custom client workWhy focusing on CLIENT RESULTS completely changed how I approached the systems we builtHow getting back into delivery is confirming that I’m taking Systems Over Stress in the right directionWhy I’m feeling weirdly nostalgic about wrapping up my done-for-you eraThe way I’m thinking about frustrating parts of my business as “the last time I have to do it this way”Why I want my business AND my boundaries to feel unrecognizable by the end of the yearHow my Client Hub is keeping me grounded while I make a million changes at onceWhat happened when I ran payroll, reviewed my P&L, and handled bookkeeping tasks myself after letting go of my OBMThe little opportunities to increase profitability that I’m noticing now that I’m deeper inside the business againWhy doing more myself right now does NOT mean I plan to do everything myself forever This is definitely a WORKING season of my business. But instead of looking at everything I’m doing and thinking, “Oh my God, why am I doing this myself?” I keep thinking: This is probably the last time I’m going to do it this way. October is my month to wrap up the loose ends. Finish the old client work. Clean up the systems. Get closer to delivery. Understand the numbers. Find the unnecessary expenses. Close out this version of the business REALLY freaking well. Because I want November to feel like a clean slate. Not an entirely different business. Just a new version of it that feels significantly different to run. A Very Real Launch Day: Crying, Deadlines & Getting It Done

Can you run your business while you’re sad? Today’s Results-Focused Offer Refresh update is a little different because, honestly, I spent a LOT of today crying. I got some unexpected news in my personal life. I left my Pilates class early because I couldn’t focus. My workday absolutely did NOT go according to plan. And I also have a launch coming up. I have a sales page that needs to get done. Coaches who need time to review it. Existing clients to support. Done-for-you projects I’m wrapping up. Travel coming up. And a whole business that doesn’t stop existing because I’m having a hard day. In past seasons of my life, something upsetting happening could easily turn into, “Well, I guess I can’t work today.” Today, I’m learning how to hold both. I can be sad AND keep running my business. In this episode, I’m talking about: What happened when my personal life completely derailed the workday I had plannedWhy I let myself fully crash out and cry instead of pretending I was fineThe boundaries I put in place so I could stop waiting for another text or update and get back into my workWhy I’m still getting my sales page to my coaches TODAY, even though it isn’t completely finishedHow “done is better than perfect” is showing up during this launchWhy I’m thinking about discipline as a gift to Future Ashley instead of “f**k your feelings and follow the plan”The things I know I HAVE to prioritize during high-capacity seasons so tomorrow doesn’t become even harderWhy going to the gym, eating in a way that makes me feel good, and taking care of myself become MORE important when business is busyHow I’m balancing launching, client delivery, travel, relationships, and taking care of myselfWhy I’m trying to take some of the financial pressure OFF this launch instead of gripping onto “this HAS to work” I’m not saying there aren’t days when you need to call it. There absolutely are. But I’m getting much better at recognizing the difference between “I genuinely need to stop today” and “I’m having feelings, and I can have those feelings while still doing the things I said I was going to do.” Today wasn’t my most productive day. But I cried. I turned off my phone. I worked on my sales page. I showed up for my client. I recorded this Live. And now I’m going to the gym. 😂 Sometimes that’s what running a business looks like.
