L.A.M.E. Book Club Podcast

Yall, my wife got me on The Empyrean series, and I’m not a great reader but she, my best friend, and my sister, all recommended graphic audio and I was hooked! After finishing Onyx Storm, I HAD TO look online for theory videos and deep dives and your podcast was the best out of the ones I tried to listen to / watch. Cant wait for book 4 and to see if any other books yall have reviewed as well. Might even look for Acotar GraphicAudio or audiobook because I saw you have a title called, “This is what happens when a boy reads Acotar” because that’s me but instead, “…When a boy listens to The Empyrean series.” Keep up the awesome work! Side note - My wife and I want Ellie’s library set up! 🔥

Hi friends! I’m not a review person at all, so this feels pretty weird, but nonetheless, I’ll give it a go. I’m currently deployed and this podcast is truly giving me life. I’ve spend the past few months going back and listening to your episodes on the masiverse. I’m not only re-living the books I’ve read in the past few years, but I also just finished the Crescent City series. Having the pod to listen to is giving me a sense of normalcy and makes me feel like I’ve got a group of girls to chat about books with, cause lord knows I’m not getting that here. I love the banter and you guys bring to the pod without going over the top like other book podcasts I’ve tried listening to. Thanks for sharing your experiences & tinfoil hat theories and bringing me so much joy while I’m away from home and my family. Okay once again, thanks Melissa and Ellie! And like idk let’s be friends or something :)

Absolutely loving watching and listening to you guys. My husband has been the one hearing all my plot spirals, character breakdowns, and wild theories for months… so he is thrilled I finally have you to obsess with. He has never been happier to be replaced. Big hugs!

I downloaded Apple Podcasts just to leave this review, I’ve been listening to this podcast since early 2024 and decided it would be a disservice to not give credit where it’s due for this long. Recently listened to Silver Elite coverage and after Ellie’s Donald Duck impression, I was laughing so hard, I had literal tears rolling down my face, my best friend doesn’t live close to me anymore and I haven’t laughed that hard in months. Listening to Melissa and Ellie feels like being at a sleepover with my besties plus I get to re-experience my favorite books over and over again- a win win! I feel like I’m included in their inside jokes, I even recently told my in-laws about all the ground beef in Ellie’s deep freezer. 5 stars, a million Jeff’s kisses. PS never stop the tangents and the Incredibles references.
