I just wanted to thank you for taking time out of your lives, to not only entertain all of us but also to come at these books with such insightful theories and or thoughts. You both always try to look at both sides of an argument, and never look down at either’s ideas, it is truly a beautiful breath of fresh air needed in fandom spaces. Anyways I just wished to thank you sincerely AGAIN, you make my life better every time I listen…oh and PLEASE never say you are upset about an extra long episode… majority of us LOVE longer episodes. I absolutely love the Fantasy Fan Girls podcast. They are so entertaining, funny, and relatable, and they make books feel super approachable. I’ve honestly never really explored bookish podcasts before, even though I knew they existed, but something about these girls just immediately spoke to me. They feel like my people. Listening to them has really helped me unpack different themes and topics in the stories I love, while also making the experience so much more fun. It feels like I have people I can talk to about my favorite books, theories, predictions, and all the little Easter eggs that are easy to miss. They bring everything to life in such an engaging way and make being part of the book community even better. I look forward to every episode and genuinely love all of their content. Highly recommend to any fantasy reader looking for a fun and thoughtful take on books.

I love the concept of this podcast and I love the books they are covering. However it is difficult to listen given how scripted the show is. I wish there was a bit more whimsy/less structure. It just reads like an overly descriptive book report. I do wish there was also critical feedback on the books -they aren’t perfect, so they should be broken down as such.

This is the only podcast I have ever given my money to. I run a book club that loves romantasy books and listening to these girls really helps. Their insight, humor, and selections really take reading to another level!
