UNspoiled! The Hunger Games

Love these ladies and always listen when they cover a book I like. Too political for me to listen to when I’m already feeling the burden of life. I listen to podcasts to escape so sometimes it’s a bit disappointing when there’s a 20 minute tangent on government, capitalism, corruption, etc… And yes, I see the irony in that statement considering the content of these novels in particular. But I do recommend this podcast, especially if you don’t mind political talk. These ladies are hilarious and insightful and I always end up liking a book more after their analyses.

You girls are so good and funny. I really enjoyed your podcast. I do have a higher opinion of the movies than what you expressed. So I don’t necessarily agree with that, but the book reactions were spot on!

Roshawn and Natasha are the dream team (Miles is a close second). Listening and reading along, all of the political implications of the series are very highlighted (though they were never understated in the text, just by pop culture’s reading of the books/movies). It’s a great time listening, 10/10 would recommend.

I do love the idea of having one host unspoiled, while going through a great series of books. I just wish that the sound quality was better. Most episodes I have to run the volume all the way up to hear everything. And even then sometimes it’s still hard to hear every word. Then the loud laughs and other noises have me turning it back down.
