    You're Making Tawakkul Harder Than It Needs to Be

    Somehow we've convinced ourselves that trusting Allah means never worrying, never feeling disappointed, never being scared, and never questioning what the future might hold. And honestly, who decided that? Since when did having tawakkul mean that we're no longer allowed to have normal human emotions? In this episode we're talking about the unrealistic expectations we place on ourselves when it comes to trusting Allah, and how those expectations can actually make our relationship with Him feel more complicated than it needs to be. Because here's the thing: you can trust Allah and still feel scared. You can have tawakkul and still experience disappointment. You can believe in Allah's wisdom without feeling completely at peace with every situation you're going through. Maybe the problem isn't that you don't trust Allah enough. Maybe you've just created an impossible standard for what trusting Him is supposed to look and feel like.     When Life Gets Hard, Do You Start Questioning Allah's Love?

    Do you feel close to Allah when your du'as are being answered, your plans are working out, and life seems to be going your way? But what happens when things don't turn out the way you hoped? When the du'a you've been making for months or even years remains unanswered, when something you've worked towards falls apart, or when life takes a direction you never expected, does your relationship with Allah begin to feel different? In this episode of Manifesting Muslimah, we're exploring a question that I think deserves more attention: Does our sense of closeness to Allah depend on Him giving us the outcomes we want? We'll reflect on the expectations we sometimes carry into our relationship with Allah, how disappointment can influence the way we think about Him, and the difference between knowing that Allah is good and trusting Him when life doesn't feel good. This isn't about judging ourselves for experiencing disappointment, frustration, or difficult emotions. It's about becoming more aware of the beliefs that might be shaping our relationship with Allah without us even realising it. Because perhaps one of the most important questions we can ask ourselves is: Who is Allah to me when life isn't going the way I wanted?
