Cowboys Blow Another Winnable One in Brazil, Caleb Williams' Scare Breaks the Internet, and RG3 Outs a BYU QB's Naked Family Dinners

Send us Fan Mail Back in the basement after a week off — decal re-hung, ServPro drama resolved, and Jason fresh off a walleye trip to Lake of the Woods featuring a guide named Joe who may be the crankiest man in Minnesota (sample exchange, courtesy of the trip organizer: "Hey Joe, you always been an a*****e?"). From there it's a deep fantasy injury binge: Justin Jefferson knocked out early, Achane done for the year, Breece Hall banged up, and a long debate over handcuff value (Ollie Gordon vs. Jaylen Wright) that nobody actually resolves. The NFL side is just as chaotic — Drake Maye's touchdown-to-interception ratio has the Patriots bench talk heating up, Cam Ward gets called possibly the worst statistical quarterback performance in 20 years, the Giants trade for JJ McCarthy sparks a wave of "JJ McCarthy's jersey number is now upside down" memes, and the Chargers' turnover-margin curse (the NFL's only franchise to lose a game while winning the turnover battle by 5+) gets its own tangent. Then the gut-punch: the Cowboys' trip to Brazil ends in overtime heartbreak after Schottenheimer orders Dak to throw the ball away on the final snap of regulation instead of letting a hot running game finish the drive — followed by a long post-mortem on bad clock management and worse coaching confidence. Elsewhere, the Raiders look unexpectedly real, the Commanders shock the Seahawks, Davante Adams' alleged lifetime Taco Bell card launches a full "what food card would you want" debate (Culver's wins), a BYU quarterback's family becomes a national punchline after RG3 says they "eat dinner naked" on a broadcast, and Iowa State hoops gets a real update on Tamin Lipsey's eligibility lawsuit. It closes with the Caleb Williams hamstring scare — the meme storm comparing it to Derrick Rose's injury history, the whole stadium assuming Achilles before the "grade two hamstring strain" diagnosis came in — a mid-round caddy quitting on a PGA Tour pro over an umbrella, a Presidents Cup group-chat AI-photo scandal, and a somber sign-off for Mr. Belding. Topics covered: basement studio decal/ServPro follow-up, walleye fishing trip and guide Joe, Justin Jefferson/A-Chan/Breece Hall fantasy injuries and handcuff debate, Drake Maye's rough stretch, Cam Ward historically bad start, Vikings-Dart trade fallout and JJ McCarthy memes, Chargers turnover-margin curse, Cowboys' overtime loss to the Ravens in Brazil and Schottenheimer coaching criticism, Raiders and Commanders surprise performances, Davante Adams' Taco Bell card, BYU quarterback naked-family-dinner story, Tamin Lipsey/Iowa State eligibility lawsuit update, Caleb Williams hamstring injury and meme storm, PGA Tour caddy quitting mid-round, Presidents Cup group chat AI photo story, Mr. Belding tribute. The Studio Flooded, The Bears Drop 59 Points, and The Cowboys Only Had The Ball Twice

Send us Fan Mail Sorry for the delay, Softies — Jason's basement studio took on water in a brutal overnight storm, turning into soggy carpet and a ServPro crew that showed up, ripped everything out, and casually destroyed a mic stand and a USB outlet along the way. So this one's recorded from the living room while the real studio dries out. Once the audio situation gets sorted, it's straight into a stacked Week 1 recap: fantasy draft fallout across three leagues, a wild DraftKings same-game parlay that came down to a Saints overtime failed two-point conversion, and full breakdowns of the marquee games — the Niners steamrolling the Rams in Australia after L.A. showed up right before kickoff, and the Bears' historic 59-37 shootout win over Carolina. Then the pain: the Cowboys somehow had only two total offensive possessions in the entire second half of their loss to the Giants, and both ugly missed/sliced extra points from Brandon Aubrey get the "does he have the yips now" treatment — with a callback to the guy who quit the fantasy league over drafting him. Von Miller's chicken-company jersey trade and the 49ers' Brayden Willis Australia-cut saga both get deeper follow-up treatment, alongside the Western Michigan-Michigan clock controversy and the airline passenger duct-taped to his seat after a racist meltdown. It closes with an international beer caper: 70,000 pints of Guinness stolen from a UK depot, and while the trailers got recovered, all 880 barrels of stout are still missing. Topics covered: basement flood and temporary living-room studio, fantasy football Week 1 recaps across three leagues, DraftKings same-game parlay, 49ers rout Rams in Australia, Bears 59-37 win over Panthers, Cowboys' two-possession second half collapse, Brandon Aubrey missed kicks, Von Miller chicken company jersey trade, 49ers Brayden Willis Australia cut, Western Michigan/Michigan clock controversy, airline passenger duct-taped after racist meltdown, Guinness truckload heist update, Iowa State near-upset of Iowa, Ohio State comeback over Texas. Draft Day Chaos, the Great PBR Heist, and the Man Who Pretended to Be a 49er for Four Years

Send us Fan Mail Draft day is in the books, and it did not disappoint. Frankie's dad showed up without his iPad ("just tell me the pick"), Uncle George reached hard for David Montgomery in the second round, and Frankie's dad rolled the dice on Puka Nacua over CMC. But the real story of the day belongs to the guy drafting from his phone at a family event, who missed a pick, went silent for a full round, then auto-drafted a kicker in round nine, spiraled into an all-tight-end auto-draft death spiral, and quietly exited the league altogether. Naturally, the guys had Claude generate draft grades and trash-talk awards afterward, and it did not hold back — George got tagged as "the 2023 magazine guy" and Frankie got compared to a guy who "robbed the building and held the door open for everyone else on the way out." Then the news: Josh Jacobs' arrest fallout landed the same weekend as the draft, timed almost too perfectly for fantasy purposes. The real showstopper, though, is the story of a man who spent four years catfishing women online by pretending to be an NFL player — fake contract signings, a fake bank balance, a fake Thanksgiving "Turkey Trot" appearance, and an 18-year-old accomplice posing as his financial manager to collect money from victims under the guise of investment opportunities. It's peak 49ers chaos-offseason material, right alongside Puka Nacua's bar mitzvah appearance and Scottie Scheffler's dominant Tour Championship win to cap a Player of the Year campaign. It closes with maybe the most purely delightful story of the year: a truckload of 50,000 cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon stolen via fake subcontractor paperwork, with the company posting a tongue-in-cheek countdown clock demanding it back. Topics covered: fantasy football draft day recap, kicker auto-draft meltdown, Claude AI draft grades and trash talk, Josh Jacobs arrest fallout, NFL catfishing scam (fake 49er), Puka Nacua bar mitzvah appearance, Scottie Scheffler Tour Championship win, LIV Golf funding rumors, Michael Block antics, college football season kickoff, Pabst Blue Ribbon truckload heist. Deshaun Watson Somehow Still Has a Job, Jed York's Ohio Adventure, and The Softest Running Back Rankings

Send us Fan Mail Jason recaps his member-guest golf weekend at the country club including a chip-in par worth a fist pump, and an electric golf cart that died halfway up a hill on the way home, forcing three grown men to push it to a friend's garage in the dark. Frankie counters with a fair trip built around a Riley Green concert and some brutally honest reviews of $15 fair food. Then it's full draft-week mode: a complete running back rankings rundown ahead of Saturday's draft, with real hand-wringing over Ashton Jeanty's ankle/knee injury scare, where James Cook and Jonathan Taylor land relative to Bijan and Chase, and a long look at sleepers like Kenneth Walker, Chase Brown, and DeAndre Swift. The news dump is stacked this week. Cleveland named Deshaun Watson the starter over Shedeur Sanders despite Watson looking terrible in the preseason and taking a shot at fans who booed him — the guys aren't buying his excuse. Then the story of the week: 49ers owner Jed York was reportedly caught in a prostitution sting in East Palestine, Ohio, allegedly agreeing to pay $140, just months after quietly filing for divorce. Add in Travis Hunter's disastrous placekicking tryout (1-for-5 from 27 yards), two NFL roster players walking away to return to college football under Lane Kiffin at LSU, a Cardinals scout under investigation for leaking draft info and betting on games, DraftKings and Delta teaming up for in-flight betting, and — capping it off — a Penn State cocaine ring nicknamed "Pablo Pledgescobar" that got busted in part because of public Venmo payments. Topics covered: fantasy football running back rankings, member-guest golf tournament recap, Iowa State Fair trip, Deshaun Watson named Browns starter, Jed York prostitution sting, Travis Hunter placekicking tryout, NFL-to-college transfers at LSU, Cardinals scout gambling investigation, DraftKings/Delta in-flight betting, Penn State cocaine ring bust. The Great Data Recovery Crisis, Wide Receiver Ranks (Does Puka's appetite cost him?), and the Internet Trolls Jayden Daniels

Send us Fan Mail Jason opens with the saga of a corrupted SD card that nearly wiped last week's recording — a multi-day fight involving a busted header file, a $90 recovery-software paywall, a cheaper $15/month workaround, and an AI assistant that apparently talked him through the whole thing like a patient IT guy (and got thanked personally once the files turned up). From there it's straight into a full wide receiver rankings breakdown: Puka Nacua's "ADP penalty" for biting someone, the Ja'Marr Chase vs. Puka debate, CeeDee Lamb sharing targets with George Pickens, Justin Jefferson revenge-ranking talk, AJ Brown's fresh start in New England, and a long look at sleepers and landmines including Malik Nabors, Jaylen Waddle's move to Denver, and Bears wide receivers Luther Burden and Rome Odunze. Then the news dump: Von Miller's Cowboys deal gets the victory-lap treatment after the guys correctly called it weeks ago, rookie Camden Brown's two-touchdown preseason game gets Jason's stamp of approval, and the Bears' Hammond, Indiana stadium situation officially looks like a done deal. Scottie Scheffler's runaway FedEx St. Jude win gets a shoutout (including the unlucky sprinkler-head bounce), and Anthony Edwards' Philippines lookalike photos make a reappearance. But the back half belongs to Jayden Daniels — his legal team sent LSU a cease-and-desist for letting a new recruit wear his old #5, and the internet's response (StubHub pulling ticket groups of five, Five Guys becoming "Four Guys," Hurricane categories skipping straight from four to six) gets read in full. It closes with a deeply unfortunate story about a dodgeball assault charge and a story of a DC firehouse sex-toy bomb scare, which — turns out — both guys had queued up independently. Topics covered: SD card data recovery saga, 2026 fantasy wide receiver rankings, Puka Nacua legal trouble, Von Miller Cowboys reaction, Camden Brown Cowboys preseason standout, Bears Hammond Indiana stadium update, Scottie Scheffler FedEx St. Jude win, Anthony Edwards Philippines lookalikes, Jayden Daniels jersey number cease-and-desist meme storm, dodgeball assault charge, DC firehouse sex toy bomb scare, Jeremiah Love ankle injury. The Only QB Rankings That Matter This Year, Faking a Hole-In-One, and Other Absurd Stories

Send us Fan Mail Jason and Frankie are back to weekly with football finally here, kicking things off with fantasy league housekeeping before rolling into a full 2026 quarterback rankings segment. Josh Allen takes QB1, Frankie goes bold with Joe Burrow at two, and his Dak Prescott ranking at five gets the appropriate amount of grief. There's also a keeper debate for the ages of Rashee Rice in the sixth versus Tyler Warren in the sixteenth, and a genuinely great bit where the guys try to sort out whether Jason's dad Bruce actually still has Brock Purdy as a keeper (spoiler: he dropped him for five days last November and forgot). Then the news dump: Kirk Cousins and Maxx Crosby get into an actual practice-field fight in Vegas, Adam Vinatieri turns his Hall of Fame speech into a full roast, Carson Beck looks great in the Hall of Fame Game a week after the guys clowned Arizona's quarterback situation, and the Fat Kelce AI conspiracy officially gets debunked by Andy Reed himself. On the absurd side: a former NFL receiver gets arrested for having sex in a mall arcade, Akron is raffling off play-calling rights for its season opener and Robert Morris fans are buying tickets just to sabotage it, and a Hollywood, Florida steakhouse is now hosting monthly nude dinners. The back half is dominated by an incredible amateur golf cheating scandal where a guy fakes a hole-in-one to steal a hole-in-one pot of cash, plus Michael Block acting like Michael Block, and a wave of new running back contracts (Bijan, Jonathan Taylor, Gibbs) and the Cowboys locking up Quinnen Williams. Topics covered: 2026 fantasy quarterback rankings, Rasheed Rice vs. Tyler Warren keeper debate, Brock Purdy keeper mixup, Kirk Cousins/Maxx Crosby fight, Adam Vinatieri Hall of Fame speech, Carson Beck Hall of Fame Game, Fat Kelce AI debunked, Stedman Bailey arcade arrest, Akron football play-calling raffle, Florida nude steakhouse dinner, golf hole-in-one cheating scandal, Michael Block walk-off, Bijan Robinson/Jonathan Taylor/Jahmyr Gibbs/Quinnen Williams contract extensions. Free Tony Romo, LeBron Takes a Discount, and Squatter's Rights in a Porta-Potty

Send us Fan Mail Frankie's deep in fantasy commissioner hell trying to fill out a dying sleeper league, but the real story is what Jason's built with Claude: an AI that scraped both leagues' draft histories and roasted every manager by name, dragging Jeff's historically bad season, crowning Frankie the league's sharpest manager, and stonewalling Jason with suspicious silence. From there it's catch-up on Frankie's Newport Beach trip (an unfortunate bathroom mixup with his aunt, whale watching, Kobe's old neighborhood, and a NeeDoh-squishie shipping crisis) before diving into a stacked news week: the 49ers' substation curse claims Ricky Pearsall again, Arizona's training camp looks like a blooper reel, and Jerry Jones teases a "substantive trade" that leads Jason into a wild Matthew Berry story about talking his way onto Jerry's team bus. Then the big ones: Baker Mayfield's contract standoff with Tampa, and an extended, gleeful breakdown of Tony Romo's DUI arrest: the field sobriety stretches, the body cam footage, and the internet sleuths who discovered all four of his "grandma and grandpa" are actually deceased. LeBron's cut-rate move to Philly gets picked apart (including the fact that an ex-Iowa State kid is outearning him), the WNBA's gambling controversy gets a real dressing-down, and the show closes with its best segment in weeks: a full CSI-style investigation into the Kansas City man who spent eight hours trapped in a porta-potty tank allegedly chasing a Mountain Dew. Topics covered: fantasy football AI league analysis, Newport Beach trip stories, 49ers substation/Ricky Pearsall injury, Arizona Cardinals training camp, Jerry Jones trade tease, Baker Mayfield/Vita Vea contract drama, Tony Romo DUI arrest, LeBron James to 76ers, WNBA gambling controversy, MLB Tarik Skubal trade to Dodgers, Kansas City porta-potty Mountain Dew story, Colombia movie theater fart evacuation. Bryson Throws a Fit, Tom Brady's Midlife Crisis, and Taco Bell Goes to Court

Send us Fan Mail Jason survives a scorching 97-degree Des Moines City golf tournament (81-85, just barely outside the cut) while Frankie throws his 15-year-old Yorkie an actual birthday party, complete with her experiencing beer pong being held one-handed by Frankie. From there it's straight into golf drama: Bryson DeChambeau gets nailed with a controversial after-the-fact penalty at The Open for allegedly stomping down fescue, gets ripped by Rory McIlroy, and fires back with a photoshopped "levitating" tweet. Meanwhile a 39-year-old nobody named Ryan Fox wins the whole thing, and turns a someone's $55 bet into six figures. Then things get dark and weird fast: Conor McGregor's knee gives out 20 seconds into his UFC fight against Max Holloway, and the guys dig into whether he knew he was hurt going in. Tom Brady continues his bizarre WWE cosplay era, popping out of an Undertaker-style coffin and whiffing a slap on Logan Paul. Cowboys talk covers Schottenheimer's bold Super Bowl guarantee and a jacked-up Dak Prescott photo, plus the Bears' new problem: a Hallmark Christmas movie filming downtown in a heat wave. Plus: the great Taco Bell diarrhea lawsuit, a Florida woman's unfortunately-worded license plate (and the guys' own real-life "tapping it" story), the Hurricanes' owner engraving his kids' names on the Stanley Cup ahead of the actual players, and Jamie Pollard's surprise retirement as Iowa State's "endowed" athletic director. Topics covered: Bryson DeChambeau penalty, Ryan Fox Open Championship win, Conor McGregor injury, Tom Brady/Logan Paul WWE feud, Brian Schottenheimer Super Bowl guarantee, Von Miller Cowboys tease, Hallmark Bears Christmas movie, Caleb Williams QB rankings, Cam Skattebo backflip, Taco Bell lawsuit, Florida license plate, Hurricanes Stanley Cup engraving, Jamie Pollard retirement, Post Malone Hawkeyes gear at Jack Trice.
