In this powerful and heartfelt episode of Autism for Badass Moms, host Rashidah welcomes Mitzi, who traveled from Yonkers, New York, to join us in the studio for an honest conversation about the life-changing power of community. Many autism moms begin their journey feeling isolated, overwhelmed, and unsure where to turn. But what happens when you finally find your people? In this episode, Mitzi shares how community became the turning point in her journey as an autism mom. What once felt like isolation transformed into empowerment when she connected with others who understood her experiences without judgment or explanation. Through shared stories, support, and understanding, the community revealed a strength she didn’t even know she had.
