Excellent intro to Literature
My 10yo daughter and I love listening to this podcast together. We enjoy the way it is read and all of the explanations that Faith offers. It is a great way to learn how to understand and enjoy classic books. I can’t wait to see what book is next.
It’s so great!!
The story draws you in and keeps you interested and waiting to hear what will happen next. Faith, the narrator, gives heart felt insights about the interpretation of the story and the time period. She never gives away what happens next. I would never have gotten interested in reading the book. I am so glad I found Story time for Grown ups. I would have missed out on a wonderful story. I look forward to which ever book is next.

Faith does a wonderful job of bringing us into the world of Jane Eyre. Her selection of audience questions and comments to discuss are presented in an engaging and informative manner. She discusses topics to help us not only to understand the story but also the world of similar classics. For instance we have learned about the elements of the gothic novel and Byronic heroes. And she does all with exquisite sensitivity to the specific spot we are in the book without giving away spoilers. Thank you Faith. I’m enjoying being on this journey with you in the world of Jane Eyre.
