    A Place to Belong: How Happy Hour is Changing Lives in Middle Georgia

    In this episode, we spotlight the incredible work of Happy Hour Service Center and its mission to create opportunities, independence, and community for developmentally disabled individuals across Middle Georgia. For decades, Happy Hour has provided a welcoming environment where individuals can grow socially, emotionally, and vocationally while developing meaningful relationships and life skills. Their work goes far beyond traditional care services — they are helping individuals discover purpose, confidence, and a true sense of belonging.     The City that World War II Built

    In this episode, we explore the story of Warner Robins — a city born from the urgency of World War II and shaped by decades of growth surrounding Robins Air Force Base. What began as a small railroad town known as Wellston transformed almost overnight into one of Georgia’s most influential military communities after the establishment of the air base in 1941.
