    S11:E9: The Senseless Murder of Lovay Williams "The Silent Witness"

    On a quiet Sunday afternoon in Washington Heights, police arrive for a routine welfare check — and find 27-year-old Lovay Williams dead inside her own apartment, her seven-year-old daughter still there beside her. Neighbors described Lovay as a woman who kept to herself, who they rarely saw without her child, and gave no outward sign that anything was wrong. But behind her apartment door was a relationship spiraling toward violence. This episode traces the hours before Lovay was found and surveillance footage of a mysterious man seen entering and leaving the apartment building multiple times.  This is a story of a young mother whose life was taken senselessly, and a community left to carry the weight of unanswered questions and how domestic violence hides in plain sight —often dismissed as private, until a child was left alone with the truth no one else saw coming.     S11:E8: The Senseless Murder of Shakeema Davis (30) "No Wasn't Enough"

    Crown Heights, Brooklyn (NY) – On August 18, 2026—30‑year‑old Shakeema Davis hosted a barbecue at Lincoln Terrace Park—a simple gathering meant for family, and friends. But as the night went on, an unexpected visitor arrived–  25-year-old Deandre Creary, a man Shakeema had gone on only one date with, whose interest had turned into obsession. Witnesses say Creary spent the night pressing her attention, growing more aggressive with every drink he consumed. When Shakeema rejected his sexual advances, the tension erupted and in front of her 7‑year‑old son, Creary allegedly attacked Shakeema, stabbing her repeatedly as witnesses screamed for help.  Creary fled New York, sparking a multi‑state search.     S11:E7: The Senseless Murder of Shakeia Allen (27) "In Broad Daylight"

    Parkville, Maryland — On April 21, 2024–Shakeia Allen had just moved into her new apartment hoping for a fresh start. Instead, her final moments became a desperate plea for safety. Police say Shakeia was chased through the parking lot by her estranged boyfriend, Amir Johnson, who then shot her multiple times at close range as witnesses screamed for him to stop. For more than two years, Johnson remained on the run. The U.S. Marshals offered a reward for his capture, but all leads went cold, and her family lived in the shadow of unanswered justice.     Crawford County, GA—On Valentine’s Day 2020, 22-year-old Fort Valley State University student Anitra Gunn disappeared. What initially appeared to be a missing-person investigation would soon become a homicide investigation when Anitra’s body was discovered days later in a wooded area in Crawford County, Georgia. An autopsy determined that she died by homicidal violence, and investigators ultimately charged her boyfriend, DeMarcus Little, with her murder. But Anitra’s story is not simply about how she died. It is about the relationship that prosecutors described as jealousy, manipulation, threats, and possessiveness—and what happened when Anitra wanted it to end.
