Jada was an honor student, an athlete, and a daughter with a bright future ahead - as she anticipated stepping into her senior year of high school.  On July 31, 2026, Jada was shot in Southwest Baltimore and fought for her life for twelve days before succumbing to her injuries. Police identified a suspect — but the case took a turn that no one saw coming.  S11:E6 - Examines Jada’s life, the investigation, and the troubling, complicated family history of the man who took her life.     S11:E5: The Senseless Murder of Anitra Gunn (22) “No Safe Space”

    Crawford County, GA—On Valentine’s Day 2020, 22-year-old Fort Valley State University student Anitra Gunn disappeared. What initially appeared to be a missing-person investigation would soon become a homicide investigation when Anitra’s body was discovered days later in a wooded area in Crawford County, Georgia. An autopsy determined that she died by homicidal violence, and investigators ultimately charged her boyfriend, DeMarcus Little, with her murder. But Anitra’s story is not simply about how she died. It is about the relationship that prosecutors described as jealousy, manipulation, threats, and possessiveness—and what happened when Anitra wanted it to end.     Hollywood, California- In September 2025, a disturbing discovery led investigators to a case that would capture national attention — the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.  Celeste’s remains were discovered inside the trunk of a vehicle belonging to musician David Anthony Burke, known professionally as D4vd.  Authorities later ruled Celeste’s death a homicide.  As investigators worked to uncover the truth, questions emerged about the circumstances leading up to her death, the relationship between Celeste and D4vd and the warning signs that may have been missed. Maylashia and her unborn child were found murdered, leaving a family and community devastated.
