    The Mediumship Demonstration That Changed My Rules With Spirit

    I have spent years believing that one of the most important parts of mediumship is surrender: trust Spirit, trust my team, and stop trying to control exactly how communication happens. Then I led a mediumship demonstration where one woman's departed family seemingly refused to follow any of my rules. They kept pushing into reading after reading until I finally did something I had never done before: I energetically removed them from the demonstration. About ten minutes later, the woman physically got up and left. That night changed the way I think about boundaries with Spirit. I break down what living mediumship actually is, why it’s different from Akashic Records, and how it’s possible to connect with a soul while the person is out living their daily life.     What Dying Feels Like: Patterns I’ve Seen in Mediumship Readings

    Death is one of the few experiences we all share, yet most of us are forced to guess what it’s like. I’m Nicole Pope, and I’m pulling death and dying out of the shadows to talk about what I’ve learned through mediumship, client readings, and the consistent patterns I see around the transition from the physical body to the spirit world. We start with a perspective shift: this 3D reality is real, but it’s temporary, and our natural state is soul consciousness in the spirit world. From there, I walk through what can happen before someone passes, including the “between worlds” experience I hear about often with dementia or cognitive decline, and the surprising phenomenon of living mediumship that can show up in complex caregiving dynamics. Then we go straight into the part most people fear. Over and over, I’m shown that before any meaningful pain, the soul is pulled out of the body. That includes expected deaths in hospice and also sudden or traumatic passings like accidents and unaliving. I also share what I’ve seen with pets. From the soul’s view, the crossing can be fast, light, and even shockingly natural, followed by reunion energy on the other side with loved ones, guides, angels, and more. We also talk about the life review: not punishment, but a 360-degree understanding of your impact, your growth, and the lessons your soul carries forward.
