Andi Schissler (Swishler as Kyle calls her) has made the Mean Green offense more dynamicthe last few weeks and will be huge for success in Birmingham. East Carolina has been overshadowed by Rice all season which is saying something since the Pirates have a single season school record in regular season wins (21) and conference wins (21). East Carolina will look to finish strong knowing they are locked into the 2 seed in Birmingham. Temple has stepped up the last couple weeks winning 3 of 4 games and could be a dangerous team in the tournament as Kaylah Turner and Tristen Taylro lead the way for Owls team that has depth and talent across the board. Tulsa got off to a great start in conference play and has stuggled a little down the stretch. But don't let this team get hot cause when they do they can beat anyone. It is when the go cold that that they seem to falter at times.  The rest of the field if higlights by UTSA, Charlotte, Florida Atlantic and Tulane. All teams look to have success over final 2 games to head into Birmingham on a strong note where they hope they can play spoiler.   They look at the schedule for the final day of the regular season on Saturday when seeding will be set for the Tournament. Two Weeks Until the Tournament and Everything is on the Table | All American (February 25, 2026)

All American is Live! It's the final 2 weeks off the season and everything is on the line in American's Men's Basketball to decide who will be in Bimringham for the American Basketball Championship. Along with the all important seeding with the new format this year. Maria Trivelpiece and Kyle Youmans break it all down this week. The top of the standings remained the same from couple weeks ago but the middel got shuffled around. It's been an odd year in the American as the road team has a 49-43 record in conference play. So much for home court advantage.   South Florida leads the way and they jsut continue to wins games and have there best net ranking in program history. The balance and depth of South Florida is what makes this team so special and why they are at the top of the league and will be a favorite come the American Tournament.  Wichita State has been riding high recently led by star guard Kenyon Giles. As Giles goes the Shockers go and if they can get some depth scoring like they have of late to go along with Giles' the Shockers will be a tough team to face in March. They also honored Voice of the Shockers Mike Kennedy who is retiring at the end of the season after 46 years at the helm. Tulane has bounced back and found its stride as late winning 4 straight games. While Rowan Brumbaugh may have been Preseason Player of the Year, it has been the supporting cast of Asher Woods, Tyler Ringgold, Scotty Middleton, and other who have allowed the Wave to flow the last few games. UAB continues its success away from Birmingham something only one other teams has done better in program history. The Blazers have been led by Chance Westry but others like Evan Chatman make them dangerous down the stretch. They will just need to find a way to win in Birmingham given that it where the American Championship is. Tulsa depsite a small stumble has rebounded the last couple games and it all starts with the starting 5. One of the most efficient and best starting 5's in the country make Tulsa a dangerous team. Tulsa's top guys will be the key down stretch and if the Golden Hurricane get hot look out.  One team who has found some positive energy and play as of late has been North Texas. Led by an intense defense and an offense that runs through Je'Shawn Stevenson, the Mean Green if they put it together maybe could be the cinderella team in March.  There are plenty of other teams trying to finish strong for seeding and a berth  in conference tournament. Success down the stretch will be key for teams like Charlotte, Memphis, Temple, Florida Atlantic and Rice to determine what their postseason fate is.  Wichita State Guard Kenyon Giles is one of the best players in the American. He joined Maria Trivelpice in Studio A to discuss his success as of late. They also talked about the turning point for this Shcokers teams and why Grit is the definition of Wichita State Basketball this season. Along with the joy he gets out of playing in Wichita and against other American teams with all the talent the league has.  March Madness is right around the corner and with that it is time for some NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament Trivia. Maria and Kyle do there best to see how much they know about one of the best sporting events there is.  They end the show with top plays of the week higlighted by the diamond this week as walk-offs and outfield cannons are showcased. Along with a sweet behind-the-back pass on the hardwood. To cap it off is a something you do not see very often especially in softball. #cbb #collegebasketball #basketball #marchmadness Watch the episode on the American Conference YouTube Channel. All Roads Leading to March in American Women's Basketball | All American (February 18, 2026)

All American is live from Studio A! Maria Trivelpiece and Kyle Youmans break down the last few weeks in American Women's Basketball. It's that time of year where March is right around the corner. On3 Women's Basketball Reporter Talia Goodman joins the show to discuss her thoughts on the strength of the American from top to bottom. She also delves into why she feels Rice should be considered for the NCAA tournament regardless of whether they win the American Championship. She also discuss why she feels like East Carolina and South Florida have been so good this season. Along with who her cinderella might be that could go on a run in the American Tournament. The Rice Owls continue to ride their incredible streak now on a 17-game win streak enetering Tuesday. What makes Rice so special is how they continue to get better each game and are just a complete team on both sides of the ball. With some tough games coming up playing well at the end of the sreason will be key for the Owls at the American Championship East Carolina also quietely continues their strong play espeiclaly on the road with 6 road wins in conference play this season. Most in a single-season in program history. What has been great about the Pirates of late is the contributions from depth players like Jayla Hearp and Anzhane Hutton. It's those contributions that will be key for success late int he season and in the tournament. South Florida has seemingly found their game again and its been led by a cast of chracters which higlights the depth and talent in Tampa. However it has been the preseason player of the year in the American in Carla Brito who has really been on a roll as of late and when she is on look out South Florida is really tought to beat. If you haven't heard of Megan Nestor then you should. The rebounding machine has led the Mean Green all season with her dominant presence on the glass. While Nestor has been great gettin contributions from others each night regulary has been helping the Mean Green as of late. It's been the same story for UTSA, Defense is great for the Roadrunners offense a work in progress. If they can get both look out. One bright spot is that when Cheyenne Rowe is on the Roadrunners are. Two teams both entering Tuesday on 3-game win streaks are Charlotte and Florida Atlantic. Charlotte's tenacious defense has led them to success the last few weeks something they will need to continue against a tough remaining schedule. Florida Atlantic on the other hand is on the verge of winning it's most games in season in a while. In just year 1 under LeAnn Freland the Owls have made great strides. Erin Rodgers leads the way in Boca and she will play a massive role in the Owls game down the stretch. They finally look at the games to watch over the next few weeks which will make the picture of the conference tournament clearer with each result. Maria Trivelpiece sits down with South Florida Guard Katie Davidson to discuss her journey to Tamp and why she chose South Florida for her final season. They also discuss what has been so successful for the Bulls as of late highlighted by a transition offense and focus on the defensive side which has really helped the Bulls get in win column regularly. They also discuss Play4Kay and why it meant so much to Katie this season. With it being Play4Kay throughout the month of February and Valentine's day this past weekend, pink jerseys have been seen across the conference. Maria and Kyle blind riank there favorite jerseys and they appear to have a style that they both like when it comes to these uniforms.  Lastly, they take a look at top plays of the week across the American. They highlight both diamond sports with great defensive plays, massive slams, and tough buckets. Oh yeah and one thing Pitchers are athletes too. The February Frenzy is Underway in American Men's Basketball | All American (Febraury 11, 2026)

All American is Live! It's February which means the stretch run of the season is here and the most important games are ahead in the push to March and the American Basketball Championship. Maria Trivelpiece and Kyle Youmans break it all downbthis week from Studio A. As usual what the standings looked like a couple weeks ago is not what they look like now, and with how this league is playing out that will probably be true in a couple of weeks. South Florida leads the way as arguably the most complete and talented team in the conference. Fresh off a win and season sweep against Tulsa, the Bulls have been playing some great basketball. However it is not just the high flying offense that defeines South Florida it is the blue collar mentality and that mentality has been a hug difference.  Tulsa who has won 7 straight before falling to South Florida this past Sunday has been riding high all season. With 20 wins already it has been a deep Tulsa team gettign contributions from different players on different nights to lead the way. Over the last 4 games it has been Tylen Riley who has stepped up.  Just lurking aroudn has been Temple and the Owls find themselves a half game back of Tulsa and South Florida entering Wednesday in the standings. ESPN+ broadcaster Ray Dunne joins the show to discuss the sucess of Adam Fisher in now year 3 on North Broad. Along with the improvement of Aiden Tobiason and his impact on the owls.  The preseason favorite in the American is starting to look like it again. Memphis winners of 3 of the last 4 have strated to play up to the standard that is known under Penny Hardaway. It has been led by contributions from places you may not suspect highlighted by Sincere Parker's 40 points in 26 minutes against UAB. Parker did something no one had done since the 1990's.  Wichita State has now won 5 of the last 6 and it has been led by other contributors outside Kenyon Giles. Dillon Battie and Karon Boyd have had big games at big times for the Shockers recently. They discuss what it will take for Wichita to continue to win games and their advantage on the glass will play a huge part.  One of the most mystifing teams in the conference is UAB. The Blazers are 5-0 on the road in American play while 1-5 at home. With the conference tournament in Birmingham they probably will want to find their grove at home before March. Chance Westry has been a wizard for UAB leading the way the last few weeks.  Charlotte looks to find the winning ways again and get back on the right track after falling in both last week. With a tough stretch coming up consistent contibutions will be key for the 49ers. Rice continues to fight and claw it's way at the cut line for the conference tournament. Led by a strong backcourt with Trey Broadnax and Nick Anderson the Owls look to make their mark as the season gets towards the end.  One of the best players in the American in South Florida's Izaiyah Nelson joins Maria to discuss his journey to South Florida. Along with what it is like to play under Head Coach Bryan Hodgson. They also discuss what has made South Florida so successful as a unit and how that team first identity can lead them a long way the rest of the season.  It is that time of year for some great sporting events. The super bowl just happened over the weekend, the winter olympics are in full swing and March Madness is right around the corner. Not to mention the World Cup later this year. Maria and Kyle work together to blind rank the best sporting events and well let's just say they have had better lists.  They end the show with top plays of the week higlighted by big time dunks, buzzer beaters, fancy behind-the-back passes and diving catches as one diamond sport returned to action over the weekend Watch the episode on the American Conference YouTube Channel. Women's Basketball on National Girls and Women in Sports Day | All American (February 4, 2026)

All American is live from Studio A! With today being National Girls and Women in Sports Day it is only fitting this weeks show highlights the last couple weeks in American Women's Basketball. Maria Trivelpiece and Kyle Youmans discuss the top teams and how the American is celebrating NGWSD The Rice Owls continue to ride the 4th longest winning streak in the country at 14 games. The balance the Owls showed has continued has led to the success throughout the season. The questions is can they continue there strong play in March where they have been strong the last couple year. East Carolina also had continued there strong play the last few weeks, at one point being off to there best start in 40 years. ESPN+ Play-by-play Evan Burovich who calls the Pirates a lot joins to discuss what has led to the success and how they can continue it throughout the season.  Tulsa continues its storng play as well due to an offense that knows how to score. They look to get over the hump in March after recent one-and-done's in the conference tournament. That offense and less turnovers are the keys according to Kyle to be able to.  Temple has started to find its game the last couple weeks highlighted by the 3rd largest comeback in NCAA Women's Basketball history against Charlotte. The duo of Tristen Taylor and Kaylah Turner have led the way for the Owls. Temple looks to continue there climb in the coference over the next few weeks. South Florida might be 6-3 in conference play by they are 6 total points from being 9-0. The Bulls who always know how to win look to find some more consistency on a regular basis to get to the level everyone is used to seeing them at. Returners Carla Brito and L'or Mputu look could be the key to the success the 2nd half of conference play. North Texas looks is another team that is not far off from being at the top of the league. Dominant wins and close losses have been the story for the Mean Green. Finding some more outside scoring is a big key for them to get up to the top. One other texas team trying to find there way is UTSA. Defense is great for the Roadrunners offense a work in progress. If they can get both look out.  They finally look at the games to watch over the next few weeks which will really shape things heading into the stretch run before the conference tournament.  Maria Trivelpiece sits down with Rice Guard Victoria to discuss her performance last week and being named American Conference Player of the Week. They also discuss what it is like Rice this season and what has led to such success on the court. The TNT (today not tomorrow) has been a big part of that and that focus has been huge for the owls. She also discussed how the offseason trip to Europe brought the team closer together on and off the court. Along with how each game a different Owl can be the difference which is why they are so tought to beat.  Maria and Kyle then test their knowledge on in part 2 of guess the American arena. Now we know guessing stadiums and arenas is not Maria's strength so let's see how she does this time. Will it be better or worse? We shall see. One of them might be one of her biggest swing and misses yet but you will have to watch and find out. Lastly, a look at top plays of the week across the American. They highlight nice layups, and multiple game-winning shots. A familiar face re-enters top plays with another massive slam. Along with a big time play that was definitely worth of number 1 Watch the episode on the American Conference YouTube Channel. Youtube.com/@AmericanConf

Anyone can win on any day in American Men's Basketball | All American (Janaury 28, 2026)

A different look this week as we talk Studio A virtual due to the weather that hit a lot fo the country this past weekend. With Dallas covered in ice Maria Trivelpiece and Kyle Youmans highlight American Men's Basketball from home. Take everything you thought about American Men's Basketball and forget it because the standings change by the day with teams from two weeks ago on top now towards the bottom. The team leading the pack and one of the most consistent all year has been Florida Atlantic. Great coaching from John Jakus and high level play from multiple contributors has led the Owls to the top of the American at 6-2. They discuss what it will take for Florida Atlantic to make another run smiliar to what they did in 2023 when they got to the Final Four. The other Florida school in Tampa has been riding high in conference play so far at 5-2 with the most recent win vs in-state rival Florida Atlantic. Izaiyah Nelson and Joseph Pinion have led a deep group that if they continue to play their game will be tough to beat. The key for South Florida might just be a lesser known starter in Josh Omojafo who impacts the game in many different way.  Tulsa has resurged after a 1-2 start to conference play ratling off 4-straight wins. The offense has been flying high and the depth has been starting to show. David Green and Miles Barnstable lead the way at the stop as two of the best in conference providing a punch Tulsa knows they can rely on each night. Wichita State has found its game over the last few weeks winning 4 of the last 5. The Shockers have been led by Kenyon Giles who is a name to watch in the player of the year race. Giles gives Wichita a chance every night and when they are winning esecially at home they have one of the best atmosphere's in the league.  Temple continues to find ways to win as they are 8-4 in games decided by 8 or less this season. The Owls led by there big 4 have brought the excitement back to Broad Street. They now jsut need to find some consitency in how they win games.  Charlotte also continues to find ways to win with a 4-1 record in games decided by 4 or less in conference play. Led by a vastly improved roster, this Charlotte teams looks more like the 2023 and 2024 teams that were towards the top of Conference USA and the American. East Carolina finally got a conference win last week and in a year filled with injuries the Pirates look to right the ship led by one of the best players in the conference in Jordan Riley. Tulane, UAB, Memphis and North Texas all look to try and figure things out as the top 4 seeds from last years tournament and 3 of the top 4 in the preseason poll find them selves in the middle of the conference race after struggling the last few weeks. A couple teams still trying to find their footing are Memphis, and UAB. The last 2 American Tournament CHampionship with brand new rosters are srtill rying to gel together, however there is no secret their is plenty of talent for both teams to make a run. One of the best players in the American and a walking humna highlight reel. Maria Trivelpeice and Kyle Youmans sit down with Tulsa Guard Miles Barnstable. They discuss the success in non-conference play, and what has led to the success in conference play the last 2 weeks after a slight stumble to start. They also discuss his D3 connection with his coach and when he first started being able to dunk the ball and the mindset he has to be able to do it so often and so well. They end the show with top plays of the week higlighted by fancy layups, big dunks and some great ball movement from one end of the floor to the other.
