Tulane Wins the American and America's Game | All American (December 11, 2025)

Tulane wins the American Championship and are off to the College Football Playoff! Maria Trivelpiece and Kyle Youmans break it all down this week pon All American along with America's Game on Saturday.  For the 2nd time in 4 years the Tulane Green Wave are the American Conference Football Champions. Last Friday at Yulman Stadium in New Orleans saw the Green Wave ride a tidal wave as they defeated the North Texas Mean Green 34-21. Led by a defense that allowed the fewest points all season to the best offense in the country and forced 5 turnovers by that offense, Tulane finds themselves on top again. Along with the defense was an opportunistic offense giving Tulane all they needed to come out as champions.  The Green Wave now look ahead to a rematch in their first trip to the College Football Playoof when they take on Ole Miss in Oxford on Saturday December 20th in the 1st Round.  It's also that time of year where one of the biggest games across college football takes place. The second Saturday in December can only mean one thing.... it's the Army-Navy Game. The 126th meeting of this historic rivalry takes place on Saturday from Baltimore, Maryland. Navy looks to win it's second straight game and win 10 games in back-to-back seasons for the first time ever. Army looks to win another one and continue its upward trend late in the season. Navy may eneter as the slight favorites but record are menaginless every year in this one.  Thety break down the Navy season and what has got them to 9-2 so far. Led by potent offense of the Midshipment led by the trio of Blake Horvath, Eli Heidenreich and Alex Tecza. But they are not the only weapons for this high-flying offense. They also give some love to the defense and how it has gotten better throughout the season led by American Conference Defensive Player of the Year Landon Robinson. Army after it's historic run last year found themselves sluggish to sart 2025. But it has been a late seaosn surge that has got the Black Knights back to 6-wins and bowl eligible again. Winning 3 of the last 4 in close games, Army wants to continue that momentum against Navy this week. They highlight the play of Cale Hellums who has settles in as the starting quarterback the last few weeks after alternating with Dwayne Coleman earlier in the year. They eaach give there keys to the game and what will play the most important part in who wins and why in Baltimore. One of the best parts of Army-Navy is the always the jerseys. The design, the storytelling and everything is always impeccable each year. This year both sides draw inspiration from the fact that the United State Army and United States Navy turn 250 years old this season. The artistry,  design and story behind these uniforms makes them incredibly special. Can't wait to see them on the field this weekend Top plays finishes the show with great defensive plays on the gridiron. Along with sweet passes, impressive slams and buzzer beaters on the hardwood as basketball season is official in full swing. #builttorise #footballgame #armyfootball #navyfootball #armynavy #america #football  Watch the episode on the American Conference YouTube Channel. A dominant team effort now puts the Green Wave one step closer to a 4th straight American Championship Game appearance. The Green Wave host Charlotte in their regular season finale and that will help determine a lot about the championship game.  North Texas despite a slow start quickly made up for it as they rolled Rice for their 1st 10-win season since 1947. The Mean Green scored 50 points for a 6th time this season and now look to Temple in their regular season finale. Temple a despereate team looking for a win to clinch bowl eligbility come to Denton. Navy travels to Memphis for a Tahnksgiving night showdown with the Tigers who they have played every year since 2015 when they joined the American in football. South Florida took care of business as well dominating UAB in Birmingham. The Bulls clicked on all cylinders and started to run away with it in the second quarter. Now 5-2 they look to finish the season strong and win their final game of the season vs Rice and hold out hope for some chaos to possible make the championship game. Meanwhile down in San Antonio the Alamodome magic strikes again for UTSA. A dominant win by the Roadrunners sent East Carolina to 2 conference losses. From the very beginning UTSA dominated the game improving to 23-0 in regular season conference games under Jeff Traylor at home. UTSA now looks ahead to an Army team trying to win to become bowl eligible. Tulsa took a win this weekend as well when they beat Army. The Golden Hurricane score a touchdown with under 2 minutes to go down by 2 and then a field goal with 12 seconds left gave them the victory on the road. They now look to finish the season winning their last 3 games when they host UAB this Saturday. 2 Weeks Left? The American is Still Up for Grabs | All American - Week 13 (November 19, 2025)

All American Week 13! If you thought there would be a clearer picture of who would be in the American Conference Championship Game after last week. Well that is just simply not the case. Maria Trivelpiece and Kyle Youmans break down week 13 from Studio A. Heading into the final 2 weeks of the season there are still four 1 loss teams in American play with everything still to be determined. After 2 striaght losses it was a big bounce back for Navy as the Midshipmen took down 24th ranked South Florida in Annapolis. A team effort on offense and defense propelled the Midshipmen to the win and staying as one of those 1 loss teams across the conference. Now 6-1 with a bye this week they look ahead to what hopefully is a busy few weeks ahead. If you wanted gorgeous jerseys look no further than Tulane. In their city edition jerseys honoring New Orleans, the Green Wave used big defensive moments with multiple takeaways along with timely offense to get the win against Florida Atlantic. They now look ahead to Temple this week as their quest for another berth in the American title game. North Texas continued its winnign ways in Birmingham as the Caleb Hawkins show dominated UAB. The freshman running back set a program record with 5 rushing TD's in a single game. Now 9-1 the Mean Green look to Rice this weekend and what they need to do against another option offense to stay at the top of the American. In what may have been the game of the year, East Carolina won in the final 90 seconds to defeat Memphis and stay with only 1 loss in conference play. The Pirates who are reidign a 4-game win streak have been peaking at the right time and will look to continue that this weekend. However they will have to go on the road the last 2 weeks of the season. The team playing East Carolina this week is coming off a big win as UTSA took care of business on the road in Charlotte. They will look to build on that performance as they head to the friendly confines of the Alamodome for the final 2 games as one win makes them bowl eligible.  Tulsa took a win this weekend as well when they defeated their 2nd team with the initals OSU and with the clors black and orange this season. The Golden Hurricane's win over Oregon State was the first since Oklahoma State back in September. They will look to build on this against a desparate Army team seeking bowl eligibility with a win in their final 2 games. They also preview South Florida-UAB, UConn-Florida Atlantic.  and Charlotte-Georgia to round out the American Conference slate. Along with looking at the 5 teams seeking 1 or 2 wins in the final 2 weeks to become bowl eligible. It was a tough week in the American as Assistant Commissioner of Communication Chuck Sullivan lost his ongoing battle with Melanoma at the age of 54. Chuck who worked in college athletics for 25 years was a legend in the industry known across the college media landscape. Maria and Kyle share their stories on Chuck and highlight the outpouring on social media of people who he touched and how he will be grealty missed. After the big win over South Florida on Saturday Navy Running Back Alex Tecza joins Maria to discuss the big win. They discuss what led to the success agains the Bulls and what it will take to beat Memphis in the final game of the regular season. Along with the special bond between him and teammate Eli Heidenreich that dates back to growing up in Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Maria and Kyle then look at the matchups for this week and see which logo they like better when they are flipped around. Let's just say there are some good and some not so much. Top plays finishes the show as usual. Great catches, saves, special teams being special and goalie goals highlight the top 5 this week. Watch the episode on the American Conference YouTube Channel. Chaos? Let's Talk Chaos in the American - All American | Week 12 (November 12, 2025)

All American Week 12! There are 3 week's left in the reglar season and its anyone's best guess on who will play in the American Championship on Friday December 5th on ABC. With 5 1-loss teams there is still so much to figure out in the final few weeks of the Regular Season. South Florida, North Texas, Navy, Tulane and East Carolina all vie for a spot in the American Championship and this week can help clear that picture a little more. Maria Trivelpiece and Kyle YOumans look at it all from week 11 and break down week 12. It didn't take long for South Florida to pounce on UTSA last Thurday as the Bulls scored on back-to-back defensive TD's and were up 14-3 after the 1st quarter. A quarter in which their offense never even snapped the ball. Byrum Brown continued his incredible play and aparently also has an incredible dental hygiene routine to get his teeth so shiny. Now South Florida moves ahead to Navy this week which features 2 of the best quarterbacks in the country but the question is will Blake Horvath play.  After the disappointing loss the week prior Tulane bounced back in a big way dominating Memphis in the 1st half anf then holding on at the end to put the Green Wave right back as a frontrunner to make the championship game. Tulane seeks its 4th straight berth and it continues this week against Florida Atlantic.  Speaking of the Owls a dominant 1st half vs Tulsa on both sides led the way as the offense clicked and the defense forced its 1st turnovers of the season to lead the Owls to the win. Florida Atlantic now at 4-5 looks to win 2 of the last 3 to become bowl eligible but it won'e be easy as they face Tulane, UConn and East Carolina all who have at least 6 wins.  The team just lurking in the background continues to be East Carolina. After a dominant win over in-satte rival Charlotte, ther Pirates fired a shot across the bow on social media questioning if Charlotte is a relevant football program. With that said East Carolina looks ahead to Memphis this week in a game that will determine a lot about where the Pirates are in the race to the American Championship Game. A physical game with the lowest amount of possessions in an FBS game took places in West Point, New York. 12 possessions were all that were had between Army and Temple with the Black Knights running out the final 9:53 of the clock to win 14-13. That gritty footbal encapsulated what Army football is and now at 5-4 the Black Knights look to win 1 of the last 2 before Navy to get back to bowl eligibility. Another team who got to 5 wins was the Rice Owls who won a defense slugfest in the second half to beat UAB. Rice in the first year under Scott Abell will now look to finish strong with games against North Texas and South Florida and build for the future. Especially given the newly annoucned updates planned for Rice Stadium. They also preview North Texas-UAB which features the high powered Mean Green offense against a Blazers Defense which has sturggled all season. Alogn with UTSA-Charlotte and how the Roadrunners quest for a bowl game stacks up in the fianl 3 weeks. Along with the one non-conference game of the weekend as Tulsa hosts Oregon State and looks to beat a secon black and orange OSU team this season. It was a wild week in Lakewood Ranch, Florida at the American Women's Soccer Championship. Multiple pnalty kick shootouts and overtime led to high drama. At the end it was UTSA who won it all capturing their 1st American Championship. Junior Goalkeeper Jasmine Kessler joins the show to discuss the roadrunners magical run to the title and what it took to get there.  Earlier in the season Maria and Kyle get tested on their knowledge of American Stadiums. Kyle did quite well, Maria on the other hand... um let's just say she doesn't like to talk about it. Now it's time for part 2. Watch the episode on the American Conference YouTube Channel. They look ahead at North Texas' final 3 games of the season and why they are heavy favorite to finish the seaosn 11-1 ane be right there in the race to the conference championhip game. Furter south in Texas the Alamodome was once again a UTSA fortress as the Roadrunners dominated Tulane by a score of 48-26. The win marked Jeff Traylor's 50th at UTSA and the roadrunners moved to 22-0 under Traylor in regular season conference home games. Owen McCown led the way throwing for 370 yards and 4 tochdowmns will only throwing 2 incompletions. Following their best game of the season UTSA now looks ahead to thursday when they travel to Tampa to face off agains South Florida.  Memphis once again proved why they are one of the best in the American in their dismantling of Rice 38-14 higlighted by the dominant Tigers defense. Memphis looks ahead to a schedule where face 3 of the 5 other 1 loss teams in the American the rest of the way. So what the Tigers do the next few weeks will determine a lot in the conference chamionship race. They look ahead to Tulane on Friday and the keys for that game for both teams in what should be a great matchup as it has been the last few years between the Green Wave and Tigers.  If there was ever a team lurking this season in the American it might be East Carolina. Now 5-3 and 3-1 in conference play the Pirates dismantled Temple last weekend 45-14. The Pirated put up 614 yards of total offense in route to the win. They now look to continue there play of late when Charlotte comes to Greenville for an in-state rvalry this Saturday . A physical game with a dramatic ending took place in Colorado Springs and now the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy will come down to Army-Navy in December. Army walked off Air Force as time expired to win 20-17. The Black Knights found a way to win and now will look ahead to their game against Temple this week. They discuss the biggest key in that game in Army foercing turnovers against a team that does not turn it over in the Owls. They look ahead to all the actiojn this week highlighted conference games across the board exept for one which is one of the great rivalries in the country that maybe isn't talked about in Navy vs Notre Dame. They also preview UAB-Rice and Tulsa-Florida Atlantic while looking at the whole schedule for week 11 They end the show with top plays across the American. This weeks selections include great goals on soccer pitch from long distance. Including one that helped South Florida qualfiy for the conference tournament. They also have some highlights from the gidiron with some trickeration on a lateral and one wid receiver pass that was just a dime of a throw. The top play of the week takes it back to Denton for one-handed interception that was quite impressive.  #collegefootball #ncaafootball #builttorise #americanfootball Watch the episode on the American Conference YouTube Channel.
