What makes a husband a priest of a home?

What does spiritual leadership and being the priest of the home really mean in marriage? For many Christian couples, spiritual leadership can become a source of confusion, pressure and even disappointment. What does it actually mean for a husband to lead his family spiritually? Does he have to lead every prayer, Bible study or family devotion? And what should a wife do when she feels spiritually hungrier than her husband? In this conversation, I sit down with Rev Gideon Muhima to unpack the realities of spiritual leadership in Christian marriage. We talk about the idea of the “priest of the home,” what the Bible actually teaches about spiritual leadership, the pressure husbands can feel to lead spiritually, and why leadership can sometimes become more about performance than a genuine relationship with Christ. We also tackle some of the difficult questions many Christian couples are asking: • What does spiritual leadership actually look like? • Is the husband really the spiritual leader of the home? • What if the wife is more spiritually mature than her husband? • Can a wife initiate prayer, Bible reading or family devotions? • What should a wife do when her husband isn't leading spiritually? • What if you've prayed for years and nothing seems to change? • What if your husband never becomes the spiritual leader you imagined? • What does a spiritually healthy husband look like in everyday life? • What small habits can husbands begin this week? • How can husbands and wives grow spiritually together? This is an honest conversation for husbands, wives and couples who want to build a marriage where faith isn't simply talked about, but lived out together.

The Honeymoon Conversation Couples need to have.

You have planned The Wedding, but have you planned the honeymoon? In this honest conversation, I sit down with Cerinah and Jackie to talk about honeymoon, and the the parts that couples don't always discuss openly like money, intimacy, expectations, children, contraception, pressure and the reality of starting life together. We talk about: • What is the real purpose of a honeymoon? • Should couples plan their honeymoon together? • How much should you really spend on a honeymoon? • Should the honeymoon be postponed if money is tight? • What conversations should couples have before booking the trip? • What expectations do couples often have about their first night? • Why can intimacy on the honeymoon feel so overwhelming? • How can couples remove pressure around sex and create emotional safety? • What if one partner wants children immediately and the other doesn't? • Should couples discuss contraception before marriage? • What happens when the honeymoon doesn't go exactly as planned? • What did we got right and what we would do differently? This isn't about having the “perfect” honeymoon. It's about entering marriage with realistic expectations, honest conversations and a better understanding of each other. If you're engaged, newly married, planning a honeymoon or simply thinking seriously about marriage, this conversation is for you. ❤️ LISTEN UNTIL THE END because some of the most important conversations are the ones couples are often too shy to have.

Infertility is affecting more individuals and families than ever before, leaving many searching for answers, hope, and solutions. Yet, what if one of the biggest contributors is a condition that often goes undiagnosed? In this interview, I sit down with Dr Andrew ‪@doctorandrewetuket‬ to discuss the surprising link between insulin resistance, PCOS, infertility, and even erectile dysfunction. We unpack why so many people are experiencing unexplained fertility challenges, the warning signs most people ignore, and why the root cause may have more to do with metabolism than reproductive organs alone. We discuss: • The early signs of insulin resistance • The link between PCOS and metabolism • Fertility challenges in both women and men • Insulin resistance and erectile dysfunction • Whether lifestyle changes can improve fertility • Practical steps you can take to reverse insulin resistance naturally Whether you're trying to conceive, living with PCOS, struggling with unexplained symptoms, or simply want to improve your long-term health, this conversation is packed with practical insights.
