Brian Austin Green: Beverly Hills, 90210, Fatherhood, Fame & Life Today | Summer Replay Series

Brian Austin Green joins Shut Up! Tell Me More for the final episode of our Summer Replay Series, and if you’re a Beverly Hills 90210 fan, this is one you do not want to miss. Best known to millions of fans as David Silver on Beverly Hills 90210, Brian takes us back to one of the most iconic television shows of the '90s and shares what it was really like growing up in the spotlight and spending a decade as part of the 90210 phenomenon. Brian opens up about playing David Silver, his memories from the show, life behind the scenes, and what it was like experiencing that level of fame at such a young age. We also touch on the loss of his friend and 90210 co-star Luke Perry, and Brian shares what made Luke so special and the incredible impact he had on the people around him. But this conversation goes far beyond 90210. We talk about raising five children, dealing with paparazzi and public scrutiny, and his co-parenting relationship with ex-wife Megan Fox. Brian gets incredibly candid about what it takes to put the kids first and make co-parenting work while navigating life in the public eye. He also opens up about the four-year health setback that completely changed his life and perspective, his amazing relationship with partner Sharna Burgess, and what it was really like competing on Dancing with the Stars. What I loved most about this conversation is how incredibly real Brian is. He was funny, thoughtful, candid, and completely willing to go there with me. We talked about fame, fatherhood, relationships, health, Hollywood, and of course, plenty of Beverly Hills 90210. Whether you grew up watching David Silver, Brandon Walsh, Brenda Walsh, Kelly Taylor, Dylan McKay and Donna Martin at West Beverly High, have followed Brian Austin Green's career since 90210, or simply want to know the person behind the celebrity, this is such a good conversation. Leaving the Jehovah's Witnesses at 17, Corey Palek's Incredible Escape Story (Summer Replay)

Welcome back to Week 5 of our Shut Up! Tell Me More Summer Replay Series! This summer, I'm revisiting some of my favorite conversations from the past two years, and this episode is one that has stayed with me long after we finished recording. My guest is Corey Palek, and her bravery at such a young age absolutely shook me. Corey was raised as a Jehovah's Witness, eventually left the religion, and at just 17 years old, became emancipated from her parents. I have always been fascinated by high-control groups and the stories of people who find the courage to leave and rebuild their lives. And Corey's story is exactly that. It's heartbreaking, eye-opening, and incredibly inspiring all at the same time. You have to hear the reason she decided to leave the religion and the events that ultimately changed the course of her entire life. And trust me, you also have to hear where she escaped to. It's almost like hiding in plain sight. In fact, this episode and others like it have inspired me to work on something very special for Season 2 of Shut Up! Tell Me More, so stay tuned for that. And by the way, if you're enjoying this podcast, please be sure to subscribe, like, and follow. And leave me a comment or two. I read them all, and they truly mean so much to me. Jake the Farmer: Is Organic Food a Lie? The Truth About Regenerative Farming

Welcome back to Week 4 of our Shut Up! Tell Me More Summer Replay Series! This summer, I'm revisiting some of my favorite conversations from the past two years, and this episode genuinely made me second guess everything I eat. My guest is Jake Engelen, better known as Jake the Farmer. And get this: according to Jake, "organic" is basically b******t, and he explains exactly why. Whether you agree with him or not, he will absolutely make you think differently about food, farming, and what we're putting into our bodies. Jake has also lived what feels like nine different lives. He's served in combat in the military, worked as a finance bro, and now owns and operates his own regenerative farm, Coastal Pastures Farm, in Delray Beach, Florida. And one of my favorite parts of this conversation had nothing to do with farming at all. Jake shares the unbelievable story of his father, who was a convict on the run for years and was basically taunting police the entire time with his screen name. You truly have to hear it to believe it. This conversation is fascinating from beginning to end and is filled with stories, perspectives, and moments that will leave you thinking long after it's over. How Forbes Riley Sold $2.5 Billion in Products and Became the Queen of the Pitch

Pam sits down with Forbes Riley, the Queen of the Pitch and one of the most successful women in the history of infomercials. Long before social media influencers existed, Forbes was building trust with millions of viewers and selling everything from the ThighMaster and Ab Roller to the Jack LaLanne Juicer, ultimately generating more than $2.5 billion in product sales. But behind the massive success is a story of resilience and reinvention. Forbes opens up about growing up as an awkward kid who struggled to communicate because of extensive orthodontic work, feeling like she never fit in, facing countless rejections, and enduring unimaginable heartbreak after the murder of the little boy she helped raise from the age of 12. Throughout every setback, she found creative ways to keep moving forward and refused to let her past define her future. Pam and Forbes go behind the scenes of the infomercial industry, discuss how Forbes became the original influencer, reveal her favorite product she ever sold, and dive into the lessons from her new book, Pitch Secrets: A to Z. But this conversation is about much more than sales and business. Forbes explains why pitching is the key to getting almost anything you want in life, whether you're asking for a promotion, trying to get buy in for an idea, convincing your spouse to take a dream vacation, or even getting your kids to clean their rooms. Plus, Forbes puts Pam through a live pitch demonstration and let's just say... there was plenty to learn. This episode is about resilience, reinvention, communication, and why learning to pitch yourself may be one of the most valuable skills you can develop in business and in life. What Is Happening to My Body? Perimenopause & Menopause Symptoms Explained with Dr. Alexandra Volo

What is happening to my body? If you've suddenly started waking up at 3 a.m., forgetting words, feeling anxious, losing your patience, shedding more hair than usual, turning the thermostat down when everyone else is freezing, or wondering where your libido went, you are not alone. In this episode of Shut Up! Tell Me More, I sit down with board-certified family medicine physician Dr. Alexandra Volo to talk about perimenopause and menopause, two stages of life that so many women enter completely unprepared for. We discuss what perimenopause actually is, the symptoms women often don't realize are hormone-related, including hot flashes, mood swings, anxiety, brain fog, sleep issues, hair loss, and low libido, whether there is a blood test for perimenopause, when menopause officially begins, and the treatment options available, from hormone therapy to natural approaches. Dr. Volo sees and treats women experiencing perimenopause and menopause every day in her practice, and she says the good news is this: women do not have to suffer through this transition feeling confused and alone. This episode is for women, and it's also for the people who know and love them. Men, I'm talking to you! Whether it's your wife, mom, sister, friend, loved one, or even your random neighbor (lol), chances are someone in your life is going through this. The more we understand what's happening, the more empathy and support we can give one another. Whether you're in your 30s, 40s, or 50s, or you love someone who is, this conversation may finally answer the question so many women are asking: What is happening to my body?
