Even in Death-A Funeral Home Mystery and the Mount Moriah Cemetery Thefts

This week on Koltergeist, we're exploring crimes committed against the dead—from the body of a young woman stolen from a funeral parlor and never found to desecrated graves to the shocking black market for human bones, organs, and tissue. Some victims were taken from cemeteries under the cover of darkness. Others were entrusted to funeral homes, medical schools, or donation programs, only to have their remains exploited for profit or treated with unimaginable disrespect. These aren't just stories about death. They're stories about broken trust, grieving families, and the unsettling reality that, for some, even death doesn't bring dignity. The Murders of Chynna and Blake Dickus

On today’s episode of Koltergeist, we’re going to discuss the unsolved murders of a 10-year old boy and his step mother. These brutal murders occurred in sanctity their home in the middle of a beautiful summer afternoon-and have remained unsolved for decades. Despite the horrific nature of the crime, the case has remained largely absent from the national spotlight. For decades, the victims' loved ones have been left searching for answers while investigators have released very little information to the public. With few details available and no one ever brought to justice, the murders remain one of Indiana's enduring cold cases.
