WTF is AuDHD?

Ellie (32) and Paige (30) are sisters who were diagnosed late with autism and ADHD (AuDHD). However, the way it manifests in them doesn't look the same. With AuDHD only becoming an official diagnosis in 2013, the lack of research not only resulted in late diagnosis and mental health issues, but also left Ellie and Paige feeling alone and confused. This podcast is a space where Ellie and Paige share their experiences, in the hopes it will help others. It explores the vast manifestations of neurodivergence and emphasises how even sisters with the same condition can look completely different. // Diagnosed late, here to educate // INSTAGRAM, TIKTOK, YOUTUBE @wtfisaudhdpodcast Hosted on Acast. My name is Jenny and I was diagnosed with autism and adhd in my mid 30s. I’m in my late 30s now and relearning so much about myself, finally with the language and tools to better understand my internal world. Learning about autism and adhd has become my top special interest over the years! I saw a clip of your podcast on TikTok and immediately came over here to subscribe. I just listened to your first episode and love your podcast already! So much of how you both described your life before and after diagnosis resonated very deeply with me! Thank you so much for making this podcast. Every neurodivergent life raft in this neurotypical world is a sign to never give up. Sending so much love! Thank you again! 🫡💜

As a late diagnosed adult woman and the whole journey of navigating autism with already knew I had adhd. This is educational and validating and it is pretty amazing to hear these stories and have something to share with friends and family because it is hard to communicate and explain ourselves to others (and as we are figuring it out ourselves)! Love this cheering you on from Texas!
