Eps 61: How to Renew Your Mind With God’s |Truth Breaking Negative Thought Patterns

Your thoughts may be real, but that doesn’t mean they’re true. What happens when fear, overthinking, negative thoughts, and the weight of hardship begin to consume your mind? As believers, we are not powerless against the thoughts that compete with the truth of God. In this episode of Kept Podcast, Tierra Lebbie talks about what it practically looks like to renew your mind with God’s Word and develop thought patterns that reflect your new life in Christ. Romans 12:2 tells us that we are transformed by the renewing of our minds. Because you have been made alive with Christ, you no longer have to allow fear, lies, painful experiences, or your circumstances to determine what you believe. Through the Holy Spirit and the truth of Scripture, you can learn to recognize unhealthy thought patterns, reject lies, and intentionally fix your mind on what is true. In this episode, we talk about: -What it really means to renew your mind -How hardship can distort your perspective -Recognizing negative and unhealthy thought patterns -Why every thought doesn't deserve your agreement -Identifying lies and replacing them with biblical truth -What it means to take your thoughts captive -Using Scripture to reshape the way you think -Learning to fix your mind on God during difficult seasons -Why renewing your mind requires daily dependence on God You may not be able to control every thought that enters your mind, but you don't have to give every thought permission to stay. Because of Christ, your mind is no longer a place where you are powerless. You can bring your thoughts under the authority of God's truth and allow Him to transform the way you think. If you're struggling with overthinking, fear, negative thoughts, anxiety, discouragement, or keeping your mind focused on God during hardship, this episode is for you. 📖 MADE ALIVE WITH CHRIST DEVOTIONAL This conversation accompanies Week 2: The Mind of the Made Alive with Christ devotional. Eps 59: The Gospel Changes EVERYTHING: How to Live in Victory in Christ

What if the gospel changed more than where you’ll spend eternity? What if it changed how you have the ability to live right now? In this episode of Kept Podcast, Tierra Lebbie breaks down the gospel through Colossians 2:13–15 and explores what it really means to be made alive with Christ. Jesus didn’t simply forgive your sins—His death and resurrection changed your position, gave you new life, and secured your victory in Christ. Yet many believers know they’ve been forgiven while still living as though they are defeated. So what actually happened when you were saved? And how should the finished work of Jesus change the way you navigate your mind, emotions, identity, hardship, and everyday Christian life? In this episode, we’re going back to the foundation: the gospel. In this conversation, we’ll talk about: What it means to be made alive with Christ The gospel and the finished work of Jesus What Colossians 2:13–15 teaches us about our victory in Christ Why your position in Christ matters in everyday life The difference between fighting for victory and living from Christ’s victory How understanding the gospel produces freedom in the Christian life Why hardship can expose areas where we’ve forgotten what is already true about us in Christ The gospel isn’t only good news for your eternity. It is the foundation for how you live today. If you’ve been struggling with fear, shame, defeat, spiritual exhaustion, or simply wondering what it practically means to walk in freedom as a Christian, this episode is for you. 🎧 Subscribe to Kept Podcast for biblical conversations designed to help women navigate hardship with God, remain rooted in Christ, and grow in spiritual maturity. 📖 MADE ALIVE WITH CHRIST DEVOTIONAL This episode corresponds with Week 1: What Made Alive Means of the Made Alive with Christ devotional.  #VictoryInChrist #GospelExplained #IdentityInChrist #MadeAliveWithChrist #FreedomInChrist #ChristianLiving #ChristianWomen #ChristianPodcast #SpiritualGrowth #BibleStudy #Colossians2 #KeptPodcast

Eps 56: How Does Jesus Meet Us in Our Suffering? | Hebrews 4:15–16 (Finale)

In this finale episode of Kept Podcast, Tierra shares a powerful encouragement for anyone walking through suffering, weakness, or hardship: Jesus understands—and He draws near. In Hebrews 4:15–16, we are reminded that Jesus is not distant from our pain. He is our faithful High Priest, One who has experienced the weight of human weakness and temptation, yet without sin. Because of this, we can come to Him with confidence, knowing that we will receive mercy and grace in our time of need. In this episode, Tierra reminds us that we do not have to hide our struggles or clean ourselves up before coming to God. Instead, we are invited to draw near—just as we are. In this episode we explore: • What it means that Jesus is our faithful High Priest • How Jesus sympathizes with our suffering and weakness • Why we can approach God with confidence, not fear • How God gives mercy and grace in our time of need • Finding comfort, hope, and strength in Christ during hard seasons Jesus is not detached from your pain—He is present in it. And because of who He is, you can come boldly to Him, trusting that He will meet you with compassion, help, and sustaining grace.
