Sunkissed + Sanctified | Memo 18 (Finale) The Girl You'll Be By Next Summer

FINAL. SUMMER. VOICE. MEMO. 😭☀️ Wait no because why do I feel like we just collectively survived a spiritually transformative coming-of-age film together??? Like genuinely pause for a second. Back in June some of you were: overthinking everything, living off validation crumbs, spiritually distracted, emotionally exhausted, confusing attention with love, letting comparison run your whole nervous system, and low-key terrified to be different! And now??? Look at you!! Your discernment got sharper. Your thoughts got healthier. Your standards got stronger. Your relationship with God got deeper. Your brain actually learned how to pause before spiraling. THIS was an intellectual summer. Not just an emotional one. You didn’t just feel inspired for a few weeks. You learned how to think differently. See differently. Discern differently. Live differently. And honestly? That changes EVERYTHING! Am I right?! Because the version of you walking into this school year is not the same girl who started this podcast in June. Not even close!! This finale is all about the girl you’ll be by NEXT summer. The future you who kept choosing wisdom in October. Who kept protecting her peace in January. Who didn’t fold every time culture got loud. Who stayed rooted when everybody else was losing themselves trying to fit in. Philippians 1:6 completely anchors this episode as we talk about the fact that God is NOT halfway done with you. Not even remotely. The girl you’re becoming one year from now? She’s going to think differently. Carry herself differently. Handle pressure differently. Love people differently. Lead differently. Because transformation isn’t a two-month aesthetic. It’s a lifelong process. And this season? This was just the foundation. Also your final Summer Move is genuinely so special. You’re writing a letter to your June 2027 self. Not the filtered version. The honest version! What you learned. What you survived. What you refuse to go back to. What kind of girl you’re becoming. Then you seal it up and don’t open it until next summer!! Cue the back-to-school Target runs. The fresh notebooks. The slightly terrifying alarm clocks returning. But listen carefully: you are not walking into this year empty-handed. You’re walking in sharper. Wiser. More grounded. More discerning. More sanctified. And Heaven is nowhere near finished with you yet! Don't go far... Season 5 is brewing bestie! Sunkissed + Sanctified | Memo 17 Who Are You Becoming?

Okay wait. Do you realize summer is almost OVER??? Like actually over. As in: the “just one more lake day” phase, the watermelon-and-worship-playlist era, the staying-up-way-too-late talking to God in your room era… BABES WE WERE JUST IN JUNE!!! 😭 And honestly? Before you sprint into back-to-school mode pretending to be emotionally fine, this episode asks one giant question: Who are you becoming? Not what aesthetic are you becoming. Not what vibe. Not what version of yourself gets the most attention online. Like genuinely: Who is your soul becoming when nobody’s looking? Because if you really stop and think about it… you are NOT the same girl from the beginning of summer. Your reactions changed. Your standards changed. Your thought life changed. The way you recover after hard days changed. Even the things that bother you now are different. And that matters. This conversation feels like sitting on the floor of your room at golden hour realizing: “Wait… God actually did something in me this summer.” Not overnight. Not perfectly. But deeply. 2 Corinthians 3:18 becomes the heartbeat of this episode as we talk about spiritual transformation, holy glow-ups, and how becoming more like Jesus is less about performing harder and more about slowly reflecting Him more naturally over time. Because real growth is weirdly quiet at first. Until one day you realize: the old version of you wouldn’t have handled life this way. OOF. And honestly? Some girls are so focused on whether they LOOK different that they never notice their heart is becoming stronger, steadier, softer, wiser, calmer, and more rooted. That’s the real glow-up!!! Also this week’s Summer Move is a full “transformation audit.” You’re sitting down and actually noticing the ways God changed you this summer instead of rushing past them like they don’t matter. Which is low-key emotional because suddenly you realize: God was moving the whole time. Last iced coffee runs of the summer. Backpack era approaching. August air hitting different. And it is time to meet the version of yourself God’s been growing all along!!! If FR, Let’s Talk has ever helped you laugh, think, or feel less alone… help us keep it free and accessible for every teen girl! Sunkissed + Sanctified | Memo 16 The Power of a Girl Who Knows God

I need everybody to stop acting like “being chill” is the highest form of human achievement 😭 Because why do girls walk into a new school year like: “Hopefully nobody notices I changed.” “Hopefully nobody realizes I actually care about God now.” “Hopefully I can stay spiritually evolved without making anybody uncomfortable.” BABES??? You did not spend an entire summer growing, healing, praying, rebuilding your confidence, and getting closer to God just to show up in August pretending to be the old version of yourself again. This conversation is ALL about spiritual confidence. Not fake confidence. Not loud confidence. Not “main character” ego energy. The kind of confidence that happens when a girl actually KNOWS who she belongs to. Because there’s a massive difference between: a girl who knows about God… and a girl who actually knows Him. One falls apart every time somebody unfollows her. The other walks into the room already grounded. And honestly? School culture trains girls to become thermometers. Everybody just absorbing the mood of the room. Matching the gossip level. Matching the insecurity level. Matching the drama level. Meanwhile God is out here looking for thermostats 😭 Girls who walk into spaces and SHIFT the atmosphere instead of copying it. Girls who stay kind when everybody else gets mean. Girls who stay grounded when everybody else gets fake. Girls who stop hiding their faith like it’s an embarrassing personality trait. Daniel 11:32 completely takes over this episode: “The people who KNOW their God shall be strong and do great exploits.” Not the people who know church slang. Not the people who repost Bible verses sometimes. The people who KNOW Him. And Matthew 5 basically follows it up with: “Why are you hiding your light under a bowl, sweetie?” This episode is your reminder that your growth was never supposed to stay trapped in summer camp mode. The peace you found? Bring it with you. The boldness you built? Bring it with you. The version of yourself God’s been growing all summer? Bring HER with you too. No shrinking. No camouflage. No pretending to be less transformed than you actually are. Back-to-school fit planned. Backpack ready. Spirit locked in. It's time to walk into this year like Heaven actually sent you there on purpose! I Read the Podcast Reviews... Here's What God Taught Me

What does faithful stewardship actually look like in a world full of new technology, new tools, and endless opinions? What if we've been debating AI... while completely missing the biblical conversation we should be having instead? These are the questions I've been wrestling with lately. After reading a handful of podcast reviews that questioned not just my use of AI, but the heart of this ministry, I found myself praying about something much bigger than artificial intelligence. Because maybe we've accidentally started asking the wrong question. This episode isn't about convincing you to use AI. It's about asking what it actually means to faithfully steward every tool, every gift, every opportunity, every influence, and every hour God has entrusted to us. What makes a message genuine? What makes a ministry faithful? Is it the tools we use... ...or the God we're surrendered to? Whether you're a creator, a student, a mom, a business owner, or simply someone trying to follow Jesus in a rapidly changing world, I hope this conversation shifts your focus away from debating technology and toward examining your own stewardship. Because one day, I don't think we'll stand before Jesus and explain what tools we did—or didn't—use. I think we'll answer a much more important question: Were we faithful with what He entrusted to us? If FR, Let’s Talk has ever helped you laugh, think, or feel less alone… help us keep it free and accessible for every teen girl! Sunkissed + Sanctified | Memo 15 Protecting the Progress: The Courage to be Different

The “Back to School” aisle is spiritually humbling me this year 😭 Because why does seeing mechanical pencils and color-coded folders suddenly feel like the end of a beautiful little personal growth documentary? Like excuse me??? I JUST became emotionally stable. This summer you healed a little. Prayed more. Started liking who you are again. Maybe you got closer to God. Maybe you finally stopped needing everybody’s approval every five seconds. And now suddenly the school year is looming like: “Okayyy, but are you gonna keep any of that… orrrr?” YEAH. This conversation gets SO real. Because there’s a very specific feeling that happens when you walk back into familiar hallways after changing over the summer. You see the same people. The same dynamics. The same pressure. And all of a sudden you can physically FEEL the old version of yourself trying to put her shoes back on. The people-pleasing version. The quieter version. The version that laughed along just to fit in. The version that shrank herself so nobody would call her “too much,” “too Christian,” or “too different.” Meanwhile God is like: “Sis… why are you trying to resurrect a version of yourself I already healed?” Blah!  This episode dives into the pressure to camouflage your growth the second school starts again and why protecting your progress actually takes courage. Because let’s be honest: it’s easy to grow in safe spaces. It’s way harder to stay transformed when everybody around you expects the old you back. And Romans 12:2 absolutely carries this conversation on its BACK. Because the world WILL try to pour you into its mold. Same insecurity. Same gossip. Same comparison. Same obsession with clout and fitting in. But maybe your difference isn’t the problem. Maybe it’s the assignment. Also this week’s Summer Move? Actually powerful. You’re choosing your “anchor habits” before school starts — the things that keep you grounded when life gets loud again. And you’re deciding ONE thing you refuse to camouflage this year. One conviction. One standard. One part of your growth that is staying with you no matter who’s watching. Backpack packed. Iced coffee secured. New era loading. You are not going backward this year, babe. Not even a little bit!  If FR, Let’s Talk has ever helped you laugh, think, or feel less alone… help us keep it free and accessible for every teen girl! ADHD Convos Part 4 | I'm Trying... I Promise: ADHD, School & Why Learning Can Feel So Hard

Ever opened your backpack and found three missing assignments, two granola bars, seventeen hair ties... and absolutely nothing you actually needed for class? Welcome to the final episode of our ADHD series with licensed Christian counselor Catherine Scholz! Today we're talking about one of the biggest places ADHD can show up for teen girls: school. And spoiler alert... it's about so much more than forgetting homework or getting distracted during math class. We're unpacking why starting assignments can feel impossible, why organization sometimes lasts about six whole hours, how executive functioning impacts everyday school life, and practical strategies that can help girls feel more confident instead of constantly overwhelmed. We'll also tackle comparison, perfectionism, grades, and the lie that struggling in school somehow means you're not smart enough. (Spoiler: it doesn't.) Whether you've been diagnosed with ADHD, you're exploring these challenges with your family, or you simply want to better understand someone you love, this conversation is filled with practical tools, biblical encouragement, and so much hope. As we wrap up this four-part series, we hope you leave knowing this: understanding how your brain works isn't about putting yourself in a box—it's about discovering new ways to grow, thrive, and walk confidently with the God who created you. Your grades don't determine your value. Your planner doesn't determine your purpose. And your struggles will never be bigger than God's plans for your life. So grab your favorite drink, take a deep breath, and join us for one last conversation that's honest, encouraging, and full of reminders that you're capable of more than you think.  💛 Interested in a faith-based ADHD group just for teen girls? Catherine is prayerfully exploring a virtual group where girls can learn practical tools, grow in their faith, and connect with others who simply "get it." If you'd like to hear more if the group moves forward, we'd love for you to join the interest list below. There's absolutely no commitment—just a way for us to see if God is leading us in this direction. 👉 Join the Interest List Here: https://forms.gle/bigr8JHJpq1pPGPeA Note: Due to licensing requirements, Catherine is currently only able to provide counseling services to those living in Colorado, North Carolina, or outside the United States. Sunkissed + Sanctified | Memo 14 When God Feels Quiet

Can we talk about the fact that nobody warns girls about the “God feels quiet” phase? 😭 Everybody loves posting about: the breakthrough, the answered prayer, the worship camp cry session, the “God showed up in SUCH a crazy way” stories. But almost nobody talks about the random Tuesday afternoons where you’re praying, reading your Bible, trying your best… and honestly? It kinda feels like Heaven left you on read. That feeling can seriously mess with your head!! Because what do you do when your faith suddenly feels quiet? Not dead. Not gone. Just… quiet. No dramatic spiritual moment. No overwhelming feelings. No “sign.” Just silence. And if we’re honest, silence makes a lot of girls panic. Like: “Wait. Did I mess something up?” “Why can’t I feel God lately?” “Why does everybody else seem spiritually on fire while I feel spiritually beige?” This conversation gets painfully real about the fact that modern girls have accidentally been trained to treat emotional highs as proof God is near. Meanwhile some of the deepest spiritual growth happens in seasons that feel completely ordinary. Like roots underground. No applause. No fireworks. No cinematic soundtrack. Just quiet trust. Psalm 13 fully enters the chat as David basically has a full: “HELLO??? ARE YOU THERE???” moment with God… …and honestly? Relatable. 😭 But what’s powerful is that David doesn’t fake positivity. He wrestles honestly AND stays rooted. This episode unpacks why silence does NOT mean abandonment, why God’s quiet seasons often build the strongest faith, and why maturity is learning to trust God’s character even when your feelings are being wildly dramatic. Because faith that only survives when everything feels exciting? That’s not really faith. That’s spiritual dopamine. OOF!!! Also this week’s Summer Move is called: “The Record Check.” You’re writing down moments where God HAS shown up before so your anxious little brain stops acting like He vanished forever after one emotionally confusing week. Tea in hand. Window open. Sunset outside. Time to talk about the kind of faith that survives the silence!! Okay Fine... Here's The Tea On The Salty Experience | Adriane & Kaase Answer All Your Q's

Okay fine... here's the tea. ☕ What even IS The Salty Experience? A conference? A girls' weekend? A giant sleepover? A faith event? A mother-daughter retreat? A weekend full of friendship bracelets, deep conversations, worship, laughter, and probably at least a few happy tears? Honestly? It's a little bit of all of it!! But here's why we're so passionate about it... Because girls don't wake up on their 16th birthday suddenly wondering if they're enough. Those questions start way earlier. At 11. At 12. At 13. At 14. These are some of the most impressionable, identity-shaping, confidence-building years of a girl's life. They're the years when girls start deciding who they are, where they belong, what makes them valuable, whose opinions matter, and what voices they're going to trust. And if we're being honest? Culture isn't waiting to influence them. Social media isn't waiting. Comparison isn't waiting. Insecurity isn't waiting. So we're not waiting either. In this episode, Adriane and I are spilling everything about The Salty Experience—the high-energy, faith-filled weekend created specifically for girls ages 11–14 and the moms who love them. We're talking about: 💗 Why these years matter so much ✨ What girls can actually expect all weekend long 👯 Friendship drama, confidence struggles, identity, faith, and navigating a world that's constantly trying to tell girls who they should be 🙌 Why moms aren't just invited—they're part of the experience 📖 The heartbeat behind the movement 🎤 What makes this weekend completely different from every other conference you've seen Because girls don't need more pressure to be prettier, cooler, funnier, smarter, or more impressive. They need a place to belong. A place to ask questions. A place to laugh until their stomach hurts. A place to build friendships that go deeper than a group chat. A place to discover who God says they are before the world convinces them otherwise. And moms? You were never meant to navigate these years alone. You deserve encouragement, connection, practical tools, and the confidence to keep showing up in one of the most important seasons of your daughter's life. So whether you're a girl wondering what all the hype is about or a mom trying to decide if this weekend is worth the calendar space... Pull up a chair. We're sharing the vision, the mission, the heart, and all the behind-the-scenes details. Because this isn't just another conference. It's a movement. One built on the belief that if we reach girls early, anchor them deeply, and send them empowered... everything changes!! 💗 If FR, Let’s Talk has ever helped you laugh, think, or feel less alone… help us keep it free and accessible for every teen girl!
