    The CA Governor Debate: Becerra said Trump. Hilton said your bills. What you actually want to know.

    California's only governor debate was one hour on CNN. Xavier Becerra vs Steve Hilton. Becerra is ahead, 58 to 33. Hilton had to land punches. Becerra had to not lose. I cover what you actually want to know from the debate. Hilton put numbers on the table. No state income tax on the first $150,000. Gas tax gone. Government fees on a new home capped at $50,000. An immediate pause on AI in classrooms. Phonics, and reading by third grade.Becerra said the math doesn't add up, the money comes out of schools, and you will get Trump results. Some counts had him saying Trump upwards of 30 times. He said he will sue cities that do not build, a data center has to benefit the town, and he will vote no on the billionaire tax. On the trafficking reporting from his years as health secretary, he changed the subject and said he is proud of his record. Hilton's closer: all you ever say is Trump, Trump, Trump. More of the same.
