    The Todmorden UFO

    In November 1980, Police Officer Alan Godfrey, is driving his car along a country road within the County of West Yorkshire in the north of England. Responding to a report of cows wandering loose from their paddock, Alan is reminded of the body he helped recover 5 months earlier, while driving near the same location known as Todmorden. Unexpectedly Alan is forced to stop the car. In front of him is a large diamond shaped object hovering above the road and spinning in a clockwise motion. Alan attempts to report what he is seeing but the Police radio has no signal. Then there’s an explosion of light that forces Alan to close his eyes. When he opens them, the object has gone.     The Pollock Twins

    In the town of Hexham near the City of Newcastle, located in the north of England. Joanna Pollock and her younger sister, Jacqueline, were walking to Church for Sunday school with their friend, Anthony. It was during this walk; they were struck by a car and all three were killed. The parents of Joanna and Jacqueline were devasted beyond explanation. It was the following year they unexpectedly welcomed the arrival of twin girls.     The Max Headroom Incident

    In 1987, the people in the United States city of Chicago, were watching the evening TV. And then without warning the signal changed. The TV picture flickered and the sound dissolved into a harsh electronic buzz. On the screen appeared a figure wearing a rubber mask of the cult figure Max Headroom, the stuttering, sarcastic, artificially generated TV personality who had become an icon of 80s pop culture. His movements were jerky. His voice distorted and nonsensical. Then suddenly as it began, the broadcast returned to normal. It lasted only seconds. But it was to be one of the most infamous broadcast hijackings in American history.     The Murder of Jane Marie Prichard

    In the morning of September 20, 1986, a 28-year-old Jane Marie Prichard, makes her way into the Delaware states Blackbird Forest. A recent graduate of botany, she continued her field work in the final stages of a master’s degree. Attending a familiar spot within the forest she continues her work studying the germination of seeds. In the area that shared with hikers and campers, it was not uncommon to sight others using the pathways and admiring the beauty held within the trees. It was later that day 2 campers did exactly that. Noticing Jane’s equipment, they then saw her laying nearby on the ground.     The WOW Signal

    In the summer of 1977, at the Ohio State University, Jerry Ehman, was volunteering as a researcher reviewing radio data obtained from a radio telescope. Jerry observes data that he has not seen before. The signal makes no sense – it is suspiciously strong and appears to have travelled from the constellation known as Sagittarius. He picks up a red pen, circles that data, and writes next to it, “W O W”, the wow signal is born.     The year was 1945, and amid the bustling naval activity along the eastern coast of Florida, five Avenger torpedo bombers, known collectively as Flight 19, took off on a routine training mission.
