Behind on your money goal? How to Make Your Business Comeback in the last 80 days of the year

Episode Summary A couple weeks ago, I was playing pickleball and we were killing the other team. We were up something like 7–1 when the guy across the court turned to his partner and said, “I love a comeback.” And he meant it. He wasn’t worried about being behind. He was almost fueled by it. Like, Great. Bring it. This is gonna be fun. And I couldn’t stop thinking about that energy because most of us do the exact opposite when we feel behind in our businesses. We look at the money we’ve made, the clients we have, the goal we thought we would have hit by now—and instead of seeing a score, we make it mean something about us. In this episode, I’m breaking down how to look at where you are in your business through the three lenses I use with everything: your nervous system, your identity, and your strategy. Because if you’re behind on your 2026 goals, you don’t need to pretend you’re not. You need to be able to hold where you are without going into urgency, stop making the current score mean something about your worth, and figure out what you actually need to do next. The goal isn’t to feel better about being down 7–1. The goal is to play the game differently. In This Episode Why being “behind” becomes a problem when you attach the current score to your worthWhat being stuck on Court 10 in my pickleball league taught me about the way I was looking at my own resultsThe three lenses I use to look at any business result: nervous system, identity, and strategyHow to know whether a new belief can actually land in your body—or whether part of you is resisting itWhy you may have built more capacity for chasing the result than actually having and holding itHow to hold uncertainty without immediately changing everything in your businessWhat your current money, clients, followers, and results do—and do not—mean about who you areWhy you need to know the actual score without turning the score into a story about your worthHow to figure out what’s working, what isn’t, what needs to change, and what you simply need to keep doingWhy the goal isn’t to feel better about being behind—it’s to play the game differently Resources & Links Mentioned: Relaxed Rich Workshop (free, live October 12–14): https://6abe730390e3f470c15e43d5--relaxedrich.netlify.app/ The Six Figure Self Mastermind: https://carlyhamiltonjones.com/the-six-figure-self-mastermind/ Connect with Carly: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/carlyhamiltonjones/ Email: carlyhamiltonjones@gmail.com

What’s Actually Blocking Your Next Revenue Jump

Episode Summary I was watching The Great British Baking Show this weekend, and one of the judges took a bite of a lemon sponge with blueberry compote and cream cheese filling and said, "That's spot on." Not because it was fancy or had a hundred components, but because everything belonged. Nothing was fighting with anything else. That's when it hit me: every baker had the same ingredients and the same amount of time, yet they created completely different results. That's business. In this episode, I'm breaking down why more strategy, more offers, or more ingredients isn't actually the answer, and why constantly changing your offer, adding a new program, chasing a new platform, or bringing back an old offer might not be a strategy problem at all. It might be what happens in the gap between taking action and seeing results, when your nervous system convinces you the strategy stopped working before the evidence has even arrived. Sometimes you don't need a new offer. You need to notice what's happening in your body before you change anything. In This Episode Why every baker had the same ingredients and time and still made wildly different cakesWhy "good ingredients don't automatically make a good cake" (and what that means for your offers)How your business got complicated one reasonable decision at a timeWhat's really happening in the gap between action and resultsWhy your brain attaches a business explanation to a nervous system freeze responseThe skill of business interoception, and why it's the difference between 10K and 30K monthsHow to tell the difference between an intuitive strategy tweak and a fear-based pivotWhy every time you change strategy out of discomfort, parts of your business start over from zeroThe three pieces you actually need: nervous system regulation, identity, and simple strategy Resources & Links Mentioned: Relaxed Rich Workshop (free, live August 12–14): The Six Figure Self Mastermind: https://carlyhamiltonjones.com/the-six-figure-self-mastermind/ Connect with Carly: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/carlyhamiltonjones/ Email: carlyhamiltonjones@gmail.com

She Paid Me $4,500 Because of My Energy (Here’s What That Actually Means)

Episode Summary A client recently paid me $4,500 in full—and told me one of the reasons she chose to work with me was my energy. But when I talk about energy in business, I’m not talking about pretending to be high-vibe, saying more affirmations, or trying to manufacture confidence. I’m talking about the state of your nervous system and what’s happening in your body underneath your marketing and sales. In this episode, I’m breaking down how nervous system dysregulation can show up as needy or graspy energy—even when you're saying all the “right” things—and why constantly changing your offer, lowering your price, adding bonuses, or creating something new may not actually be a strategy problem. Sometimes you don't need a better offer. You need to look at the energy you're selling it from. In This Episode Why a client paid me $4,500 in full and told me my energy was part of her decisionWhat “energy” actually means from a nervous system and somatic perspectiveHow nervous system dysregulation can affect your marketing and salesWhy people can feel needy or graspy energy even when your words sound confidentWhy constantly changing your offer, pricing, or marketing strategy can be a nervous-system responseHow to recognize what’s happening in your body before changing your businessWhy selling the same offer at the same price can feel completely different when your internal state changesHow nervous system regulation can help you sell with more confidence, ease, and self-trust Resources & Links Mentioned: Regulate to Receive (free): https://carly-hamilton-jones.ck.page/6f12455795The Six Figure Self Mastermind: https://carlyhamiltonjones.com/the-six-figure-self-mastermind/ Connect with Carly: Instagram: @carlyhamiltonjonesEmail: carlyhamiltonjones@gmail.com

The Flannel, the Cardigan, & the Identity Gap Between Them

Episode Summary: This week, Carly shares a personal story from a solo trip to see Sierra Ferrell in concert — and an unexpected stop at a Goodwill that turned into one of the clearest lessons on identity shifts she's ever experienced. When she almost settled for a "good enough" $4.99 flannel, something in her said no — and walking away empty-handed led her to a $2.99 navy cardigan that turned out to be 100% Max Mara, cashmere and silk, retailing for over $1,000. This episode is about what happens in the space between who you're leaving behind and who you're becoming — and why that uncomfortable, uncertain middle is exactly where your next level is built. What You'll Learn: Why you have to release your old identity before you get evidence the new one is workingThe real difference between healthy non-attachment and settling out of discomfortWhy launching, pricing, and offer decisions often get sabotaged by an inability to sit in uncertaintyHow to keep showing up and selling your real offer even when nobody's buying yetA practical way to reframe "the scary quiet middle" as part of the process, not a sign something's wrong Key Quote: "You can't hold onto the $10K version of yourself and also see the $30K, $40K, $50K version. You have to release first." Perfect For: Anyone in a season of business growth where the old strategy, offer, or price point no longer fits, but the new level hasn't shown up as proof yet. I Spent $20K on Mindset & Manifestation. Here’s What Was Missing.

Episode Summary If you’ve been doing manifestation, mindset work, affirmations, visualization, and identity work but still aren’t seeing the money or business growth you want, there may be a piece you’re missing: nervous system regulation. I spent more than $20,000 on mindset, manifestation, spiritual coaching, and mentors before I understood the difference between changing my thoughts and actually creating safety in my body. In this episode, I’m breaking down the connection between your nervous system, money, manifestation, and business growth—and why you can’t always think your way into feeling safe, satisfied, abundant, or supported. We’ll also talk about interoception and somatic awareness, and I’ll give you a simple practice for beginning to notice what’s happening in your body so the mindset, identity, manifestation, and business strategy work you’re already doing has somewhere to land. In This Episode Why nervous system regulation may be the missing piece in your manifestation practiceThe difference between mindset work and nervous system workHow your nervous system affects money, sales, and business decisionsWhy affirmations and visualization can feel like they’re not workingWhat it means to develop a felt sense of safety and satisfactionHow interoception and somatic awareness can support entrepreneursWhy I could manifest easily in my personal life but struggled in my businessA simple nervous-system practice you can start using todayWhy regulation can make belief work, identity shifts, and business strategy easier to implement Resources & Links Mentioned: Regulate to Receive (free): https://carly-hamilton-jones.ck.page/6f12455795The Six Figure Self Mastermind: https://carlyhamiltonjones.com/the-six-figure-self-mastermind/ Connect with Carly: Instagram: @carlyhamiltonjonesEmail: carlyhamiltonjones@gmail.com

How I Went From Feeling Behind to Actually Enjoying My Business

Episode Summary: This week, Carly almost quit pickleball mid-game — and it had nothing to do with her skill level. In this episode, she breaks down what really happened in her nervous system on the court, and how it's the exact same pattern that kept her stuck in her business for three years. If you've ever felt the urge to quit, pivot, or fix something the moment things feel uncomfortable, this one's for you. In This Episode: Why Carly almost walked off a pickleball court mid-gameThe real order of operations: your nervous system reacts first, then your brain invents a thought to explain the feelingHow the thought "I should be farther along" quietly ran her business for three yearsWhy certainty (even negative certainty) feels safer to your nervous system than the unknownHow this one belief shows up when a client hesitates at your price, or when you have a quiet weekWhat changed the moment she gave herself permission to just be exactly where she was Key Takeaways: Your brain attaches to thoughts closest to your identity and treats them as fact—watch for the short, bold, repetitive ones.Certainty feels safe to a nervous system that's lived in uncertainty, even when that certainty is working against you.The urge to quit or pivot isn't always a sign something's wrong—sometimes it's just your nervous system waiting for evidence that you're safe. The 3 Times You Sabotage Your Business (Without Realizing It)

Episode Description: Carly's sourdough obsession isn't just a hobby: it's become the perfect metaphor for why your income feels capped. In this episode, she breaks down the exact parallels between baking bread and building a business: the mixing, the waiting, the rise, and why constantly "checking the dough" (aka checking your DMs, tweaking your offer, refreshing your inbox) is literally deflating your own momentum. If you've ever changed your offer the moment it got quiet, second-guessed your pricing right when things started working, or scrambled to the next thing before celebrating a win — this episode is your permission slip to stop, breathe, and trust the process. What You'll Learn: Why "peeking at the dough" (checking DMs, refreshing analytics, tweaking offers out of anxiety) sabotages momentum that's already building beneath the surface The 3 critical moments where most entrepreneurs mess with their "dough" when they shouldn't: Right after taking action (posting, selling, sending an offer) Mid-rise, when it's working but not fast enough Right after the win: when you skip celebrating and rush to the next thing Why silence in your business isn't a red flag: it's often proof something is working 3 practical tools to build your "patience capacity": setting a timer instead of checking impulsively, committing to one decision for 1-3 months, and noticing the urge to intervene in your body Why nervous system regulation (not more strategy) is often the missing piece before you can execute anything long enough to see results This Week's Challenge: Pick one thing you keep peeking at, checking, or tweaking. Instead, ground into your body, breathe for 30-60 seconds, and let it rise in the quiet... even if just for five more minutes. Mentioned in This Episode: Six Figure Self Mastermind: a 6-month program to regulate your nervous system, align your identity to hold more, and build a simple strategy that compounds instead of collapsing. The Sourdough Method to Breaking Your Income Plateau

Episode Summary: In this episode, Carly breaks down why so many high-achieving entrepreneurs feel capped at a certain income level despite taking constant action. She challenges the common belief that fear of failure is what's holding people back — and reveals that it's actually a fear of success (and stillness) that keeps income stuck. Carly explains how the nervous system reacts to "quiet" in business...whether that quiet happens before a breakthrough, during a launch lull, or right after money lands and why learning to stay rather than react is the real skill required to break through income plateaus. In This Episode, You'll Learn: You're not actually afraid of failure. You fail constantly (unanswered posts, ghosted consults, canceled contracts) and keep going, proving failure isn't what stops you.The real block is fear of success/stillness. Your nervous system reads "quiet" as danger, whether it happens before a result, during momentum-building, or after a win.Quiet shows up in 3 places: Right before something starts working (planting-seed phase), During periods when nothing visible is happening yet, Right after money/success landsThe instinct to "do something" is a nervous-system reaction, not a strategic response — it shows up as tweaking offers at the last minute, buying another course, postponing launches, or second-guessing pricing.Conditioning is the root cause: Most high-achieving women were taught that movement/production = success and stillness/pausing = failure. The real growth skill is "staying": staying when it's quiet, staying when momentum is building, staying when money lands, staying when visibility increases.Identity is the bridge between nervous system regulation and revenue growth... becoming someone who can trust herself without needing external proof first. What actually creates consistent 10K–20K+ months isn't more action, it's increased capacity to hold, stay, and not scramble out of stillness. Call to Action: Reflect on where in your business cycle you tend to take unnecessary action out of discomfort with quiet (before results, during momentum, or after a win) and practice staying instead of reacting.
