    Dreaming Our Way Through the Threshold: Building a Medicine Bridge to the Future

    Humanity is standing in the threshold; that space in an initiation or rite of passage that is betwixt and between. The threshold time in a process of transformation is precisely the juncture when the self, as she has known herself to be, has shed her old skin, but does not yet know what form her new skin will take. Standing in this place betwixt is, in every sense of the word, unknown. The sacrifice of an initiation is that we do not know who or what will emerge from the other side. We don't even know, in a very literal sense, if we will emerge at all. What does an individual or a community or a nation or a planet do at such a juncture? We pull from new sources of wisdom, power and inspiration.     How Dreams Can Grow Our Kindness

    Dreaming does not exist in a vacuum, it's in no way separate from the rest of our lives and psyches.  Dreaming is trying to help the waking life... but what do I mean by help? In this episode we explore how I belive that dreaming is trying to help you fulfill the reason that you came here to this world, to aid your spiritual evolution, to grow your healing. Dreaming wants to help you soften ever more into love's embrace... But all of this only occurs if we believe it to be so. This episode deepens our exploration of how what we believe about dreams, and life, matters in the meaning we make from dreams and the steps we take to weave them. I dive into a few more of my core beliefs about life and dreams including how: - We, all human beings and all life, are all related.     Superpowers of the Feminine: On Other-Than-Linear Ways of Knowing

    This episode is a love note to the inner feminine and a prayer to bring balance to the masculine and feminine within our selves, our communities and our world. Restoring this balance begins, as always, first within our own minds and hearts.   Join me on a journey to explore the state of the relational dance between these inner forces, while examining how much value, or lack of value, your feminine has been receiving. Oftentimes a pattern of devaluing her has been with us for years, decades, lifetimes and generations. This was certainly the case for me.  But as I share, these capacities reawoke with the gift of my attention, my intention, a wee bit of instruction and permission by teachers, the plants and Nature herself.     The Medicine of Summer: On Beauty, Flowering, and Shining Your Most Authentic Self

    This episode is a blessing and a prayer to the summer in your heart. Having just crossed into the season on the heels of a solstice that felt like sweet medicine, I reflect on the turning of the wheel and the particular gift this time of year offers: permission to revel in the warmth, the light, and the beauty, and to shine your fullest, most authentic self. This is, in fact, exactly what life needs from us. To be and create Beauty.  Join me as we reclaim Beauty from the narrow clutches of the dominant culture and return it to what the flowers have always known - that beauty blossoms from within and inspires life to grow outside of itself.     The Wild Woman Within is the Medicine | Kris Haraldson of Thriving Imperfectly

    Kris Haraldson is an herbalist, shadow work coach, teacher, healer and general badass who loves helping women wake up to realizing they don't need to be anyone other than who they are. Kris walks us through her early quest to understand stories about women, how we conceptualize ourselves and how we can break free.  Her life has been guided by the questions: What are the stories we carry and how do they impact us? How does other people's reaction to our stories impact our sense of self? What about the stories we inherit from religion, the overculture, etc? Kris was in the throes of studying psychology in a very cerebral academic setting when she started having visions that she had no context for. Sitting in her graduate classes flashes of quietly gathering plant medicines while feeling at peace and connected filled her mind's eye. This eventually lead to Goddess worship which helped her reconstruct an identity of womanhood that included the arts of herbalism, shamanism, energy work and intuitive work.
