57: The Power of Healing | A Real and Honest Conversation About Chiropractic Care, Breast Cancer, and Pregnancy Loss with Dr. Kim Snider

In today's episode, I had the incredible honor of inviting Dr. Kim Snider to come sit in my living room and share her story through chiropractic care, breast cancer, and pregnancy loss. In the beginning of this episode, we begin by learning from Dr. Kim's wisdom on all things chiropractic care. She's the founder of her own chiropractic practice and she walks us through the journey of what led her to be a chiropractor, benefits of being regularly adjusted, how a chiropractic adjustment can benefit everyone from newborn babies to an older generation, and how you can find a reliable chiropractor in your area. In the second half of the episode, Dr. Kim shares her personal journey through her breast cancer diagnosis followed by her pregnancy loss. She takes us step by step of what this journey looked like for her and how she found healing in every stage of her story. Her story is a powerful testimony of healing, starting with her work at the chiropractic clinic and into her own personal story. This episode is a full of golden nuggets that I know will resonate with all of us and encourage us in some area of our life. This is one of my favorite interviews I've done to date and I'm honored to be able to have Dr.Kim on the show today, I think you're going to love her just as much as I do. 53: What Infertility Really Looks Like | The Moments We Don't Talk About

June is World Infertility Awareness Month and in honor of that, I wanted to bring a real and relatable conversation to the show where we could openly talk about all of the moments we don't normally talk about. Infertility is hard and it can often feel lonely and isolating. I know this because I've lived it and it's been some of the hardest moments of my entire life. When people think of infertility they probably think it's a devastating experience, but don't really or truly understand what it actually *looks* like. In today's episode, we're pulling back the curtain and talking about the moments you don't see. The crying in the bathroom, the praying during sex, the breakdown in the car on the way to a friend's baby shower - all of the moments where you feel utterly alone. I'm here to tell you today that you are not alone and you don't have to go through this alone. This episode is to help the infertile community to feel seen while helping the fertile community to better understand. If any of this is resonating with you already, then hit play because this episode is for you. I've got my coffee and I'm ready to welcome you when you're ready because it's time to get messy. 52: 5 Easy Summer Encouragements for Moms | Permission to Have a Good Summer Without Doing it All

I know there's a lot of pressure around summer right now and feeling like we have to show up and do it all in order to create magical memories for our kids. In this episode, we are debunking this myth and, instead, leaning into a slower summer with our kids. This whole episode sparked by the realization that every time I opened social media, I saw some sort of "summer theme" being pushed at me. Whether it was a "hot mom summer," " 90s mom summer," "butter mom summer," and so on. I've been thinking about this a lot and instead of finding a theme that resonates with what I want to do this summer, I decided to just have a "summer" summer with my kids. One where we release the pressure to show up and perform like a cruise director every minute of every day. Instead, I'm going to put my phone down, turn on the hose, open a popsicle, throw water balloons with my kids, and forget the rest. Let this episode be your permission slip to slow down this summer and really spend some intentional time with your kids doing simple things with big meaning like serving ice cream for breakfast on a random Tuesday or sitting in a field looking at stars one summer night. We talk about this all and more in this week's episode so grab your drink of choice and meet me on the couch, it's time to get messy!
