Patrick's career included time with some of Europe's most respected clubs, including Ajax Amsterdam, FC Utrecht and NAC Breda, before a phone call from Graham Arnold brought him to the Central Coast Mariners. And the rest, as they say, is history! 🏆 Career highlights include: Playing professional football in the Netherlands and Japan.Winning the prestigious Alex Tobin Medal in 2011.Claiming the Mariners Golden Boot in 2012.Scoring in the Mariners' historic first A-League Grand Final victory in 2013.Becoming one of the club's most respected and popular defenders.Continuing his contribution to football through coaching.Patrick also shares the fascinating story of his early tennis career, the legendary footballers and coaches he encountered, his international experiences and what it meant to be part of that unforgettable Mariners championship team. A former smoker who once struggled with her weight, Julie discovered running at 51 and went on to achieve things most people wouldn’t dream possible.  HER INCREDIBLE ACHIEVEMENTS INCLUDE:  2023 – Appalachian Trail: Completing one of America’s most famous long-distance trails.  2024 – Continental Divide Trail: Taking on another extraordinary endurance challenge through some of America’s most rugged wilderness.  2025 – Pacific Crest Trail: Covering more than 4,300 kilometres in an astonishing 69 days and 19 hours, completing the prestigious American Hiking Triple Crown.  2026 – RUNNING ACROSS AUSTRALIA! On 23 August 2026, Julie set off from Cottesloe Beach in Perth on an extraordinary journey across the Australian continent. On 10 October, she arrived at Bondi Beach, Sydney, completing the epic challenge in just 48 days, 7 hours and 8 minutes. Her achievement earned her the women’s supported Fastest Known Time for the Perth-to-Sydney route. And she accomplished all this at 60 years of age!  Julie has also faced significant vision impairment, making her achievements even more extraordinary. In this fascinating conversation, Dale and Rick explore Julie’s life before running, what inspired her to begin at 51, the physical and mental challenges of extreme endurance events, and the determination required to keep going when most people would stop.     Send us Fan Mail This week on The Victory Wrap, Rick "RJ" Jullienne and "Dale "The Coach" Eggleton sit down with one of the Central Coast’s great dual-sport figures, Greg Smith. Born in Gosford and raised at Narara, Greg built an outstanding career across both cricket and rugby league. He played first-grade cricket for Narara from the age of 16, went on to score almost 8,000 runs, including 12 centuries, and later captained the club to the 1984–85 First Grade premiership.Greg also captained the Central Coast representative cricket side, coached representative teams, served on the NSW Country selection panel, and was recognised with life membership of both Narara and Central Coast Cricket. His rugby league story is just as memorable. After being told there was no position for him at Gosford, Greg hitchhiked out to Erina, played there that very day, and stayed with the club for the rest of his league career. He later became a first grader and was part of Erina’s historic 1977 First Grade premiership, scoring a try in the Grand Final win over Wyong. A terrific story of talent, loyalty, leadership and a lifetime of contribution to Central Coast sport. Paul’s journey is anything but conventional. After more than a decade working in IT, including time with Apple, he retrained as a teacher before founding what began as the International Football School in 2013 with just 76 students. Today, Central Coast Sports College has grown into one of the region’s most distinctive education and sporting institutions, combining academics with elite-level development across a range of sports. Paul talks about the vision behind the college, the challenges of building something different, his time on the Central Coast Mariners board, his passion for developing young people, and what comes next as the college continues to grow.     Send us Fan Mail In this week's episode of The Victory Wrap podcast series Rick "RJ" Jullienne and Dale "The Coach" Eggleton interview well known Central Coast rugby league player, Alex Moore whose career has taken him from local football all the way to the NRL and later into coaching. A Berkeley Vale Panthers junior, Alex earned his opportunity at the highest level when he made his first-grade debut for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in 2003. He became Manly first-grade player No. 476, making three NRL appearances for the Sea Eagles that season. After his time in the NRL, Alex remained a major presence in Central Coast rugby league.  He played with The Entrance Tigers, producing an incredible performance in the 2009 Central Coast First Grade Grand Final, scoring five tries as The Entrance defeated Northern Lakes 52–14. He later returned to Berkeley Vale, where he continued playing and moved into coaching.  By 2015 he was combining the roles of player and coach with the Panthers. Alex’s rugby league journey eventually took him back to Manly, this time on the coaching side of the game. He became head coach of Manly’s Harold Matthews Cup junior representative team, helping develop the next generation of Sea Eagles talent. From Berkeley Vale to NRL first grade, premiership football on the Central Coast and then into representative coaching, Alex Moore has experienced rugby league from just about every angle — making him a great guest to talk about the game, the characters and how rugby league has changed over the years. From champion schoolgirl swimmer to a life-changing accident, Helena went on to achieve world records and international medals in disabled swimming, later receiving the Medal of the Order of Australia for her service to swimming. She also had the honour of presenting medals at the Sydney 2000 Paralympic Games. But Helena’s story goes far beyond sport.     Send us Fan Mail Heather Robilliard nee McGuire – A True Sporting Pioneer This week on The Victory Wrap, Rick "RJ" Jullienne and Dale "The Coach" Eggleton welcome the remarkable Heather Robilliard, recently inducted into the Central Coast Sporting Hall of Fame after an extraordinary life in sport.Heather’s story began with a love of horses at Gosford Race Club and led to her becoming a true trailblazer — the first female jockey in Australia to be granted an unrestricted licence by the AJC to race against male jockeys.Her journey has taken her around the world representing Australia, but it hasn’t been without enormous challenges.  After suffering a devastating broken leg in 11 places, Heather discovered snow skiing during her recovery.  What began as rehabilitation became a whole new sporting career, with Heather applying the same determination, courage and competitive spirit that had driven her as a jockey.She went on to become an accomplished alpine ski racer, teacher and instructor. Her contribution to the sport was recognised in British Columbia, Canada, where a black diamond ski run — “Robilliard’s Rush” — was named in her honour.In 1985, Heather also founded Ski Adventures, creating personalised ski holidays for couples, singles and families in destinations around the world.Heather’s life is a story of resilience, reinvention and refusing to be defeated by adversity.  From horse racing to alpine skiing, business ownership and personal health challenges, she has continued to meet life with positivity, determination and toughness.
