    14. Cass Miller - Perspective, presence & the power to keep going

    In today’s episode, I sat down with the incredible Cass Miller, a woman whose strength hits you the second she starts speaking. Diagnosed with incurable cancer at 36 with three young kids, Cass has turned fear, uncertainty and the absolute chaos of her life into purpose, presence, and the most beautiful perspective. This conversation feels like a warm, grounding therapy session. We talk about walking hand-in-hand with fear instead of letting it drive, choosing a better-feeling thought when everything feels heavy, and finding tiny moments of courage when your whole world is falling apart. Cass shares how she parents through this, how she stays connected to herself, and the way her spirituality and community have held her together. We also go deep into the shift that happens when you realise no one else is coming - that you are the one who has to show up for the scan, for the treatment, and for the healing. And somehow, in that truth, there is so much power. Cass is hope, honesty, softness and resilience all in one - I walked away from this chat in awe, and I know you will too.     This week on Bits and Boobs, we’re doing something a little different - I finally convinced my partner, Alex to jump on the mic and share what it’s actually like being the support person through cancer, the fear, the grief, and the quiet strength that holds everything together. Whether you’re going through treatment yourself or love someone who is, this one’s for the support people who often sit in the shadows.
