Let It Be Podcast

Let It Be Podcast is a raw, honest exploration of everything from faith and family to forgiveness and second chances. Sometimes they disagree. Sometimes they laugh until they cry. But they always keep it real.  They also welcome guests with powerful stories and lived experiences—voices that challenge, uplift, and open hearts.  Because at its core, Let It Be isn’t just about two people rebuilding a relationship. It’s about creating space for truth, connection, and the quiet strength of letting go.  That strength is something Ruthe knows intimately. She’s a mother who continues to walk through the unimaginable loss of two of her children—grieving, healing, and still choosing to show up with faith and hope. Her journey brings a depth and compassion to each conversation that can only come from lived experience.  Tim’s path has been different—but no less intentional. He made the personal decision not to have children, a choice shaped gently over time by life experience and reflection. His perspective brings honesty, curiosity, and occasional differences in viewpoint—but always with deep respect.  Together, Ruthe and Tim represent two very different experiences of family, loss, and meaning—and that’s exactly what makes Let It Be so real.  In many ways, this podcast is sibling therapy—wrapped in humor, honesty, and a whole lot of heart.  After months of preparation, reflection, and real work, Ruthe and Tim are ready. This podcast is their second chance—and an open invitation for you to be part of the conversation.

Looking Back, Moving Forward Nineteen episodes. Powerful stories. One shared message: hope is never out of reach. In this special season finale, Ruthe and Tim look back on the conversations, guests, and learned wisdoms that shaped the first season of the Let It Be Podcast. They revisit meaningful moments from Henry DiCarlo, Maree Dee, Pastor Scott Heider, Myles, Dr. Bianca DeAnda, Camie McDonald, Lisa Stout, Ron Neal, and Recinda Janine—reflecting on authenticity, mental health, guilt, grief, faith, courage, acceptance, and becoming who you were meant to be. Ruthe and Tim also share an honest conversation about faith, doubt, curiosity, and how their relationship has grown throughout the season. EP. 13 The Choices Circumstances Can't Take with Bianca De Anda

On today’s episode of the Let It Be Podcast, we sit down with Bianca DeAnda—a clinical psychologist in Southern California and a longtime connection to Ruthe’s family. Together, we talk about what happens when life doesn’t follow the plan… and how your choices still matter, even when your circumstances feel heavy, unexpected, or out of your control. Bianca shares with honesty about grief and growth, the pressure of traditional timelines, and what it looks like to rebuild your identity when a major season shifts. We explore the truth that joy and grief can coexist, how naming hard emotions helps release shame, and why learning to sit with yourself—without roles, titles, or expectations—can become a turning point. This conversation is for anyone who has ever thought, “This isn’t what I expected,” and is trying to find a steady next step anyway. Bianca brings grounded wisdom, emotional clarity, and practical hope—reminding us that even if circumstances change your plan, they don’t get the final say in who you become. To close, Tim leaves us with a reflection question to carry with you: “Who are you when you stop rushing to become who you thought you’d be?” Did today's episode give you little boost of hope and encouragement right when you needed it? If it did, we'd love it if you'd hit that like button, subscribe, and maybe even share it with someone who could use a little light today.
