Episode 15 - 2026 Scapecon Champion John "johnnyfrisbee" Walden

Ken and Gordon interview "johnnyfrisbee" to discuss the top units in the Classic meta (aka All-Time, aka Legacy, etc), which effectively means what might do well in a draft event, or likely win a "cheese" tournament, two formats Johnny is particular skilled at. The best part is that this episode comes in at about only two hours and fifteen minutes...until it doesn't.

But making a good map isn't easy. Mapmakers Gamebear andFlash_19 join the 'cast to share their insights. Find out the differences between maps from over 15 years ago versus maps made today, how terrain sets play a part, and what are their goals when making them.

Episode 9 - Running a local scene with Isaac "Boromir96" Degenhart

Last month we explored a casual player's perpsective. Now we do the opposite and get Isaac's thoughts on what it's like to be a Heroscape organizer. So tune for some dad jokes and another three hour tour...a three hour tour (bonus points if you're young and still get that reference).

Episode 8 - Discussing casual play with Derek "Vecna" Haddock

Gordon and Ken interview Derek "Vecna" Haddock to get a better understanding of what casual play means to him. Drinking game suggestion: Take a drink each time one of the hosts says "So..." On second thought, don't do that; you'll pass out long before you finish the episode. Audio: Gordon gets a new microphone and it tested great. What happened??? Only so much can be done in post to clean it up. Sigh...it continues to be a work in progress.
