I appreciate that they seem to be looking at caregiving from the perspective of human behavior and psychology, but I found this to be an incredibly pretentious podcast. I’ve been a caregiver for five years, actively, and four years on top of that, inactively, and this sounded like it was coming out of a textbook, psychological behavior, and theory from no one who is really ever been a Caregiver before. I don’t want to listen to theory from an author who’s not cared for a LO. I want to listen to people who have practice and real life experience. The pretentiousness of the episode I listened to was incredibly off putting - so much so I couldn’t even finish it. Look elsewhere.
