My young-adult niece just went on her first plant medicine journey.A guided weekend retreat. She expanded so much and found a new part of herself.She experienced her magic in a whole new way.… I experience her magic in a whole new way too! 🥰 I’m overjoyed that plant medicine is becoming more popular. From doing mushrooms for the first times out in nature, under trees, in the living waters of the lakes of Austin or the mountains of New Mexico, with my crazy hippy girlfriend in 1990. To hiring the long-time apprentice of Stanislov Grof for a holotropic breathing and psychedelic psychotherapy retreat with high-grade LSD in the mountains of Northern California in 2006. To lobbying and organizing for years around nationwide drug policy reform like decriminalizing marijuana and psychedelics with folks like Ethan Nadelman at the Drug Policy Alliance, Rob Kampia at the Marijuana Policy Project, and Rick Doblin at the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies. I have developed a profound respect for the power of plant medicine. At the same time, in this episode I share my story which includes life beyond plant medicine. Magical, mystical, psychedelic journey into higher dimensions … naturally. I share about my journeys now in what most would call “meditation”.Which began in 2007 and ramped way up in 2012. How our body creates natural DMT.Our pineal gland is literally a crystal transducer.That opens with use and intention … and detoxing. I enjoy natural journeys more because: - I can go more places- I have more choice- it’s free- I can do it anytime anywhere with no limits- lasts as long as I want and then it’s over- I feel more energized rather than drained of energy afterward- they’re more “interactive” - I’m not just a passenger along for the ride- which gives me more opportunity to build an intentional ever-expanding relationship with my soul. Because I can tailor and customize my natural journeys so much more, I can choose to cultivate specific magical skills like clairvoyance, realm bridging, timeline jumping, light walking, shape shifting, the light body and even teleporting. Working with intention in the subtle realms, I can consciously cultivate my inner light weaver. In other words … my Luminous Life Force!! :D If you’re new to plant medicine, I also include some important tips about sourcing your medicine, and the concept of a bad trip.
