    EPISODE 34 Ft. Stuart Thiel

Episode 34 is all about the 2026 Big Creek Quick Six! Cason and Ross welcome Stuart Thiel back to Ridin’ The Line to break down everything happening at one of our favorite local races of the year. We get into this year’s six-stage enduro course, some new lines for 2026, Saturday’s Jump Jam, Specialized bike demos, the Little Hammies kids race, the Shenanigan Stage, and what racers and spectators can expect throughout the weekend. We also talk about some big changes to the e-bike categories as bike technology continues to get faster and more powerful, including the new E-Bike Max category and where bikes like the Specialized Levo 4 fit into the mix. And speaking of the Levo 4, Rambo and Jarrods Place are giving one away! We break down the Specialized Levo 4 raffle, how you can enter from anywhere in the country, and how the money raised goes directly back into maintaining and improving the local trail system. The Big Creek Quick Six takes place October 9–11 in Roswell, Georgia, with race day on Sunday, October 11. Spots are limited, so get signed up while you still can. Whether you’re racing, heckling from the sidelines, or just coming out to hang with the local MTB community, we’ll see you at Big Creek. Grab a beer and enjoy Episode 34 of Ridin’ The Line. EPISODE 33 Ft. Mitch Ropelato

Episode 33 is a big one. Cason and Ross sit down with Mitch Ropelato, one of the most versatile riders to ever throw a leg over a bike. From BMX and World Cup downhill to enduro, dirt jumps, e-bikes, moto, and pretty much anything else on two wheels, Mitch has built a career around doing things his own way. We get into the story behind MTBX, Mitch’s wild new race concept that basically takes the idea of racing a slopestyle course and turns it into reality. Mitch breaks down the massive features, the stacked rider list, and his bigger vision of eventually bringing mountain biking out of the mountains and into stadiums and cities. From there, we talk bikes. Mitch shares why the Specialized Levo R has become his everyday bike, why more travel isn’t always better, the progression from 26 to 27.5 to 29 inch wheels, and whether 32 inch wheels could actually be the next big thing. We also get into some mountain bike history, including Mitch qualifying second at World Champs on a Specialized Enduro 29 when most of the downhill world was still riding 26 inch wheels. And because it’s Mitch, the conversation doesn’t stay on mountain bikes for long. We get into his BMX background, racing Arenacross, his love for motocross, the progression of young riders today, and what it feels like to hit a 100 foot jump. According to Mitch, double flips aren’t that hard either. Just look back twice. 😂 Plus, Mitch is headed to Washed Up BMX Weekend at Jarrods Place, so we talk about his first trip to Jarrods, riding in the Southeast, and what he’s looking forward to when he gets down here. If you like mountain bikes, BMX, moto, e-bikes, or just watching someone who can absolutely rip anything with two wheels, you’re going to enjoy this one. EPISODE 32 Ft. Petey Peters

Episode 32 is all about BMX, bike culture, and keeping the fun alive. Cason and Ross sit down with Petey Peters, a longtime BMX racer and one of the guys behind the Washed Up BMX Weekend at Jarrods Place. Petey talks about how the event started as a simple way for old friends to get together, ride bikes, camp, and hang out without the pressure that can come with modern racing. What started with a small group has grown into a full weekend built around riding, vintage bikes, jams, campfires, and good times. The guys also dive into Petey’s 31 years in BMX, his racing career, getting inducted into the Florida BMX Hall of Fame, becoming a dad and watching his daughter fall in love with BMX, and why bikes have remained such a huge part of his life. From there, things get a little spicy. Petey shares his thoughts on how BMX racing has changed, why modern tracks feel more cookie cutter, the influence of the Olympics, the rise of pay to play “factory” teams, and why some of the fun and personality that made BMX special can get lost when everything becomes too serious. There’s also plenty of mountain bike talk, Jarrods Place stories, road and gravel riding, sponsorship talk, and the usual Ridin’ The Line banter. If you grew up riding BMX, mountain bikes, dirt jumps, or just spending all day on two wheels with your friends, this one will probably hit home. Grab a drink and enjoy Episode 32 of Ridin’ The Line.
