    Ep 44 Grounding and Protecting Yourself

    Welcome back to another episode of Mystics Spilling The Tea with our silly singing intro. Today is a highly requested topic about how to ground and protect yourself. Each mystic shares how they each have diverse grounding techniques like music, universe energy, nature medicine like trees, your bare feet in the grass, naming things with your senses, crystal jewelry, visualization, etc. We are never alone in life and have spirit energy all around us. Sometimes we get overwhelmed with anxious moments or chaotic energy. It is important to discover tools that work well for you in those moments. We invite you to explore multiple ways that can assist you on your journey of life. Lezli discusses her Duck method for her engineering brain and how she uses that in her daily job. She can mindfully shift energy into a new space using this technique. This combines greatly with protection methods. Ashwani shares how a boot tray is excellent to customize for yearly grounding even in the dead of winter. Water is a wonderful way to ground as well that is transmuting any stuck or stagnation energy in your body, mind, or spirit selves. Rain hitting a tin roof can be hypnotic and create a trance type state. We each enjoy nature as a way to ground, call in your protection guides, and feel deeply connected. All three of us work with Angels that we call upon for protection. Ashwani says you can call in your ancestors, guides, and deities. Lezli and Ashwani have used crystals for the majority of their life before they were educated in the mystical properties. Symbols are also fantastic protectors depending on your beliefs.     Ashwani, Lezli and Nickelle are back with an informative episode about the seven chakras and seven psychic claires. We have seven energy centers in our bodies that coordinate with a color, gemstone, and frequency called chakras. Every person is psychic, yet not everyone chooses to use their abilities and that is ok. There are also seven psychic claires discussed in this Mystics Spilling the Tea episode that hopefully inspires you to expand and awaken further for your own healing journey. As metaphysical teachers, Ashwani and Lezli experience chakras and claires routinely coming up in their class discussions. Seven Chakras - Their coordinating colors & gemstones (think 7th grade science of ROY G BIV) 1st Chakra (Root) is Red. Garnet is a great choice of stone. 2nd Chakra (Sacral) is Orange. Carnelian is excellent. 3rd Chakra (Solar Plexus) is Yellow. Citrine is a favorite. 4th Chakra (Heart) is Green. Peridot is great. 5th Chakra (Throat) is Blue. Lapis Lazuli is definitely a favorite. 6th Chakra (Third Eye) is Indigo. Amethyst is an ideal choice. 7th Chakra (Crown) is Violet. Clear Quartz or Lemurian. There are many choices you can select for chakra healing and balancing. You are safe with all Clear Quartz or Lemurian crystals on all seven if you do not have the other options. Seven Psychic Claires - Clairvoyance: (Clear Seeing & Mind’s Eye) “This involves receiving information through images, visions, or mental pictures, often beyond what can be seen with physical eyes.” Psychic sight or clear vision. Life happens all around us and wounds can range from little challenges we experience up to excruciating situations that can feel like they break us. We can review our life without triggering the incident that happened by examining the event. Spirituality and healing are great partners to one another discovered through a myriad of ways. This was a small moment that was a grand opportunity for healing, understanding, and supporting one another through when an old wound surfaces.
