    Robbie Fitzpatrick - Social Club

Anyone who has been in Basel during the June art fair week in recent years will almost certainly have heard of the Basel Social Club. In the latest episode of one.voice, Fabian speaks with one of its co-founders, gallerist Robbie Fitzpatrick, about the vision behind the initiative. We discuss what it takes to build a project of this scale, how the Basel Social Club offers an alternative to the traditional art fair model, and the extensive organization and financing required to bring such a project to life. Robbie also talks about his own gallery, which has been operating entirely nomadically for several years, without a permanent physical location. Finally, the conversation turns to the Tokyo Jazz Club, which will take place in Tokyo from November 1–8, 2026. Sophie Neuendorf - transparency

In 2000, Artnet launched one of the first online auction platforms for art. More than 25 years later, Sophie Neuendorf, daughter of Artnet’s founder and now Vice President of the company, joins Fabian at one.voice. We talk about how Artnet helped democratize the art world, what the company is doing today, and what’s next — from AI and digital transformation to the technologies that are reshaping how we discover, value, buy, and sell art. Sophie also shares insights into her work beyond Artnet: running an artist residency with her family in Mallorca, teaching as a professor, speaking on panels around the world, and advocating for a more sustainable art market. Zuzanna Bartoszek - Transformation as Identity | Isolation as Structure

At the beginning of the 20th century, Franz Kafka wrote The Metamorphosis, a story about Gregor Samsa, who wakes up one morning to find that he has been transformed into a giant insect — a strange and unsettling exploration of alienation, identity, and existence. That same sense of absurdity comes back when we have a look at the current exhibition by today’s guest, Zuzanna Bartoszek, at CFA Gallery in Basel. Zuzanna is a self-taught artist, and in this episode, we talk about her intuitive and fast approach to painting, the influence of her father on her work, and her book 36 Rooms. We also explore where her images come from, how pain, emotions, and her own existence find their way into her work. Zuzanna also talks about her current time at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam and how the city has influenced her work. https://www.instagram.com/one_artcollection/ https://www.instagram.com/zuzannabartoszek/?hl=de https://cfa-gallery.com

Paulo Nazareth - A message to the world!

The guest of the new episode of one.voice is a global nomad and visionary. The conversation with Paulo Nazareth begins at the very origins of humankind and unfolds across time, places, and perspectives — exploring the meaning of art, the inequalities and contradictions within our societies, and the connections that bind us together. Paulo reflects on community, his people and ancestors, the experiences and encounters that have shaped him throughout his travels, and the ways in which we can rethink and transform our relationship with the world. The conversation also explores his current exhibition „Algebra“ at Punta della Dogana in Venice and the role of language. A journey from Lucy and the origins of humanity to the global transformations shaping the 21st century. A special thank you to the wonderful team at Mendes Wood DM for making this conversation possible and as always for the great collaboration! In the latest episode of one.voice, Diandra Donecker, Managing Director of Grisebach, joins Fabian. We talk about her journey to the top of one of Germany’s most renowned auction houses, how the business of art in the secondary market actually works, and what it takes to lead a historic institution into the future. How do you win major collections? Where does an auction house create real value today? How do you reach a new generation of collectors? And what role do brand, digitalization, and AI play? We also discuss Diandra’s vision for the auction house of the future: a place for people to come together, a cultural hub, and a global brand. Mattia van Severen - beginning

The guest of the latest episode of one.voice is Belgian fashion designer Mattia Van Severen. Coming from a family of designers, Mattia spent years collaborating with and advising international fashion houses before founding his own label. In this episode, we talk about the identity of his brand, how his collections come to life, and the sources of inspiration behind his work — including the visual arts and artists such as Gordon Matta-Clark and Olafur Eliasson. We also discuss the challenges of building a young fashion label: What does it take to establish a new brand? What makes a location the right one? And, perhaps most importantly, how do to sell clothing when it’s 40 degrees outside? The conversation is in English. one. Julian Daynov - changeability

In the new episode of one.voice, we’re talking about Germany - but not in a political sense. This time, it’s about aesthetics, design, and the question of how we can rethink our own cultural identity. Fabian sits down with style icon and creative all-rounder Julian Daynov to talk about his project Neudeutsch and his vision of making German design cool, relevant, and internationally visible. We talk about bringing different disciplines and people together, creating new perspectives, and building an international platform for the next generation of young creatives. We talk about change, about daring to expect more from ourselves, and about Julian’s personal passion for constantly evolving and reinventing himself.
