Episode 11, Billy Rudd and CloudSplitter Coffee

In Episode 11 of The Let’s Hike Podcast, Jeremy sits down with Billy Rudd, founder of CloudSplitter Coffee. Billy is an Air Force veteran, hiker, runner, ultramarathoner, Appalachian Trail section-hiker, and accomplished endurance athlete who has completed the Northeast Ultra 8. But this conversation goes far beyond miles, mountains, and endurance challenges. Jeremy and Billy talk about hiking in the White Mountains, the Appalachian Trail, knowing when to turn around, the lessons that come from long days in the woods, and how nature can help us disconnect from the noise of modern life and reconnect with what actually matters. They also talk about CloudSplitter Coffee, stepping away from the corporate world, simplifying life, letting go of material pressure, spending more time with family, and building something meaningful around the outdoor community. This episode is about endurance, identity, growth, purpose, and the way the trail can strip life back down to something more honest. Sometimes nature does not add something new to our lives. Sometimes it removes what is unnecessary and reminds us what we were carrying that we no longer need. This interview was recorded before Sarah officially joined The Let’s Hike Podcast as co-host. After the conversation, Jeremy and Sarah return together to reflect on what stood out and share what they’re carrying forward from Billy’s story. Episode 9, Introduction to Sarah Let's Hikes New Co-Host

In this special relaunch episode of The Let’s Hike Podcast, Jeremy introduces listeners to his new co-host, Sarah. Sarah brings a powerful voice, a deep connection to the mountains, and a lived understanding of how nature can support healing, growth, resilience, and reconnection. In this conversation, Jeremy interviews Sarah about who she is, her relationship with the outdoors, hiking with her son Oaklyn, and the ways the White Mountains have become more than just a place to recreate — they have become a place of strength, reflection, and medicine. Together, Jeremy and Sarah begin opening the door to a new chapter of the podcast: one centered not only on hiking, but on the many ways nature helps us come back to ourselves. This episode is an invitation to meet Sarah, hear her story, and get a feel for the heart, honesty, and depth she brings to The Let’s Hike Podcast moving forward.
