    16. SEO Is a Long Game: How to Build Visibility That Compounds, with Nathalia Brasileiro

This week I'm sitting down with Nathalia Brasileiro, an SEO and web design strategist who spent 10 years in corporate marketing before leaving to build a studio that makes founders findable, especially women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ founders who are tired of proving their worth before anyone even trusts them. We get into why so many of us are throwing content at the wall and hoping something ranks, and what shifts when you finally understand what Google is grading you on. Hold onto this one: SEO works like a savings account that compounds over time, and it literally pays off, but most people quit right before it does. In this episode: The three SEO North Stars that decide whether Google trusts you, and which one to fix firstWhy your clever, witty title might be quietly making you invisibleThe difference between top, middle, and bottom of funnel searches, and where the real traffic hidesThe non-negotiables to set up before you touch a single keywordHow long to wait before you change anything, and why switching too soon keeps tanking your rankingsWhere AEO and GEO fit in, and why they are not a separate game from SEO You can find Nathalia at viksen.co/website-design and on Instagram @viksencreative, and her podcast-to-SEO offer turns the episodes you've already recorded into blog posts built to rank.  New episodes of Mama Means Business drop every Tuesday. 14. Brand Deal Contracts for Creators: What to Check Before You Sign with Attorney Alexis Campisi

You got the email. A brand wants to work with you, there is a contract attached, and everything in you wants to sign it fast before they change their mind. So you skim it, say yes, and hope for the best. If that is you, you are not alone, and this is the episode that is going to change how you do it. This week I am sitting down with Alexis Campisi of Life and Lemons Legal, an attorney who works with creators, influencers, UGC creators, and online business owners. We get into the mechanics of brand partnerships and UGC deals, the part nobody explains until you are already in it. And you do not need half a million followers for this to matter. If you have 300 followers and a gifted deal sitting in your DMs, this one is for you too. Alexis breaks down where your eyes should go first when a contract lands, and why the deliverable and the payment are almost never the part that costs you. We walk through the words that quietly decide how much you make and how much you give away: usage rights, whitelisting, likeness, exclusivity, revisions, and payment terms. She shares the one clause she tells every creator to refuse, the red flags that make her walk, and how a "thousand dollars for one reel" deal can secretly be a trade for every piece of content you have ever posted. Hold onto this one: you are not a baby deer. This is a business deal, and you are allowed to negotiate like it. In this episode: - Where a creator attorney looks first when she opens a brand contract - The six terms that decide your pay, and when each one means you should charge more - What whitelisting really is, and the ad-spend trap hiding inside it - The gifted and "for exposure" question, and whether a free-product deal needs to be in writing - What the FTC is, whether it really comes after small creators, and the disclosure mistake that carries a five-figure fine - The contract red flags that make a lawyer say walk away - When you really need a lawyer, and why it is earlier than most creators think Find Alexis:  Instagram: @lifeandlemonslegal or @abcampisi https://www.lifeandlemonslegal.com/ New episodes of Mama Means Business drop every Tuesday. 13. Your Brand Feels Too Tight? How to Evolve Your ICP Without a Full Rebrand

Have you ever built something so specific, so dialed in, that it started to feel a little too tight? Like the coziest sweater you own, the one that fit perfectly for years, and then one day it pulls at the shoulders. That's where I've been with my brand lately, and after talking to a lot of you, I know I'm not the only one. This episode is about the sneaky little rebrand. Not blowing everything up (breathe, I promise), just cracking a window in the brand you built so a little fresh air can get in. If you've felt the itch to broaden who you talk to and then instantly felt guilty about it, this one is for you. I'm walking you through how your ICP, your ideal client, gets to grow up right alongside you. We start with why niching down so hard was the right first move (it's literally how people found you), and why that same cookie-cutter ICP can quietly box out people who are a perfect fit for what you do. Then I give you the exact shift I used to open mine up: moving from the WHO to the WHAT.  Here's what I want you to hold onto. Your ICP is not carved in stone, and it's not the ten commandments. It's low risk, it's yours to play with, and you'll be able to feel pretty quickly whether it's landing. Come do this exercise with me. In this episode: Why your brand can start to feel "claustrophobic," and why that's actually a good signThe difference between a full rebrand and just cracking a windowWhy the super-specific ICP that got you started can box out your perfect-fit peopleThe shift from WHO to WHAT, and the three questions you need to answerHow to work backwards from those answers into content pillars using an umbrella approachHow to know it's working, and your permission slip to nudge it back if it's notNew episodes of Mama Means Business drop every Tuesday. 11. Postpartum Depression, the Lindsay Clancy Case & Why We Have to Listen When a Mom Asks for Help

Content warning: this episode talks about postpartum anxiety, postpartum depression, and suicidal ideation. If you're in a hard place right now, please take care of you first. The resources are at the bottom whenever you need them. Usually on Mama Means Business we talk about the intersection of motherhood and business. This week is all motherhood. After going way too deep on the Lindsay Clancy case, I needed to step back and talk about the mom underneath all of it, because at the core of who we are, we're moms, and that's the part that makes us so good at what we do. This is the most honest I've been on here. I'm sharing my own story of postpartum anxiety and depression after my daughter was born, the relentless intrusive thoughts, being scared of the car and the stairs, the schedules I built down to the five-minute mark. As a mom, a wife, and a pharmacist who understands the clinical side too, I'm talking about why postpartum mental health is so real, why it's so hard to ask for help, and why we have to listen to the moms who say something out loud and the ones who say nothing at all. I'm not here to theorize about what happened in the Lindsay Clancy case or pick a side. This is about the feelings it brought up, and what I understand from having lived a version of it. If this pulled up something for you, my inbox is always open. You don't have to have the right words, just reach out. In this episode: What postpartum anxiety and depression actually felt like for meThe intrusive thoughts and the need for control no one talks aboutWhy the people who love us can still struggle to understand mental healthThe specific kind of support only a partner can giveHow to show up for a mom who's struggling, even when she isn't saying it out loudResources (please save these or share them with a mom who needs them): 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: call or text 988, free and confidential, 24/7National Maternal Mental Health Hotline: call or text 1-833-852-6262, free, 24/7, for pregnant and new parentsPostpartum Support International (PSI) HelpLine: call 1-800-944-4773 or text "Help" to the same number (not a crisis line, messages returned daily)Crisis Text Line: text HOME to 741741New episodes of Mama Means Business drop every Tuesday. 10. How to Know Your Real Capacity as a Mom and Founder

Have you ever ended the week staring at a calendar that looked perfect on paper, and still felt like you got nothing done? If your capacity feels different every single week, and you are tired of feeling like you failed when you cannot do as much as you did last week, this episode is for mom entrepreneurs like you. I sat down with habit and accountability coach Kay Nass to unpack what capacity really means for a mom entrepreneur, why it is never the same two weeks in a row, and how to build a business and a life you do not have to recover from. Kay is fully anti-hustle culture, and she breaks down how to plan your week around your real energy instead of an arbitrary to-do list. In this episode: - What capacity objectively is, and why it is so much more than how much you can hold - Why consistency does not mean doing the exact same thing every week - How to choose your "enough" for the week so you get your own dopamine hit - The difference between a must-have and a nice-to-have on your list - Golden hours, and how to match your tasks to your real energy instead of just open time - How to build a Plan B before you actually need one - Who needs to sit down and take the Capacity Audit Find your sleep chronotype: https://sleepopolis.com/chronotypes-quiz/ Take Kay's free Capacity Audit: https://coachkaynass.com/capacity Website: https://coachkaynass.com Instagram: https://instagram.com/coachkaynass YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@mysoftseason
