The Republic by Plato - Free Audiobook

This is entirely different from reading Jovett’s Plato, quite refreshing. I do not understand how other commentators have disliked the narrator’s authoritative and expressive reading. To me, he has a just voice that does justice to the work, though I certainly bow to others’ far more informed opinions. However, I do have one question…

Great quality, reader has the perfect voice for this work

Any that might of read and had a hard time getting through it should listen to this and then it would make our understanding of what knowledge is and with that it can only make ourselves better to each other. I appreciate this podcast only recommendation is to have different voices for each individual in this discussion .. lastly for those who didn’t understand why they didn’t follow the numerical book they did it to not confuse the listeners too much. as from this book it’s to gently take the image of a person that was in a cave unable to turn their head... keep trying and you will get the light :)

Each time you attempt to listen to any section of this podcast there is first played an ad for some raunchy video game using the voice of a tough guy street hustler which completely shatters the listener's mood. I couldn't stand it and you wouldn't either! What are these folks thinking, drinking or smoking?
