Ordinary Mystics
Being a Christian mystic was never meant to be something exceptional or rare. In Part 4 of the series, John, Alex, and Allen swap stories about what it looks like to live as ordinary, everyday mystics and how we're all meant to know God and the beauty of his kingdom in deep, profound ways. In this light, the Apostle John, St. Paul, and David were all mystics; certainly Adam and Eve were as well. Once we understand Christian mysticism as the daily experience of God as revealed in Jesus Christ, we can experience the normal life of an ordinary mystic.

For one thing, the Internet has discipled our souls to anticipate, even demand, immediate answers. So when we ask God a question and are not answered in the way the Internet does, we feel he isn't listening. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. The effects go far, far deeper.
