This podcast deserves five stars 99% of the time. Recently, the host used the mistrial of Lindsay Clancy as an example, showing that the world can no longer determine right from wrong. I appreciate and agree with your interpretation of the scriptures, as it relates to the end times. However, I couldn’t make the connection concerning the mistrial argument, where only one jury member wanted the guilty verdict. This case was far from black-and-white. If she pleaded not guilty, and denied killing her three children, then yes, it’s black-and-white. But she confessed and pleaded, not guilty, by reason of insanity. There are a lot of arguments for why the world doesn’t know right from wrong, but this is not a good example. Do you know what it’s like to experience postpartum depression? If you were a female, with children, you could speak to this issue. But you’re not. That’s like a woman trying to explain to a man how painful it is to have their foreskin removed. What would a woman know about that? What would a man know about postpartum depression? There is no justice that can come from a guilty or not guilty verdict in this specific case. If she’s found guilty, she goes to jail for life without parole. If she’s found not guilty, by reason of insanity, she goes to an institution. She’s going to be held accountable regardless. Please dedicate an entire episode to explain and justify your example. You clearly see it black and white. Please explain why you see it this way.
