The Great Glass Alavator ,

An absolute gem

This show is so wonderful. Great blend of data and narrative. I really love the way they keep up with the stories they tell, updating the audience at the end of reruns.

Words Matter

“...parliament of Germany.” What, can’t you say Bundestag, or are you too lazy to do the research? Why not call it a Congress or a tribal council or a loya jerga ?

Not the same anymore

Nearly every episode up until about two or three years ago was excellent but since then the quality of this podcast has gone completely downhill.

The biggest issues are that they no longer put much effort into making this podcast, they goof around and giggle way too much, there's now an extremely strong liberal bias in most episodes and lately there have been too many ads.

The goofing around and the giggling is especially irritating because they act so immature at times that it sometimes seems like this podcast is intended for children. The previous hosts were a lot more mature.
