Jesus Loves You Too Much to Leave You the Same

God doesn't just change what we do. He transforms who we are. John began as a Son of Thunder, marked by anger, selfish ambition, and insecurity. But through his relationship with Jesus, he became known as the Apostle of Love. Through Luke 9, Mark 9–10, Acts 8, and 1 John, this message explores how time with Jesus can transform human anger into kingdom fire, selfish ambition into kingdom drive, and personal insecurity into kingdom confidence. We are a bunch of imperfect people pursuing a perfect God. And just like John, we can be transformed by spending time with Jesus.

Don't Let the Devil Bully You

What lies have you started believing about yourself? That you’re too broken? That God couldn’t choose you? That you’ll never change? In “Don’t Let the Devil Bully You,” Doug Wekenman unpacks how the enemy uses lies, fear, and shame to keep us stuck—and how God’s truth sets us free. Condemnation tells you to stay away from Jesus. Conviction invites you to come back, where you’ll be met with mercy and grace. You’re not condemned—you’re being redeemed. You’re not rejected—you’re chosen. And you’re not just trying—you’re in training. Discover how to replace the lies with truth, take your next step in obedience, and run the race God has marked out for you.

We Are Imperfect People Pursuing a Perfect God

We are imperfect people pursuing a perfect God. In this message, Shawn Johnson reminds us that we are welcomed, loved, valued, and wanted by God—and that we were never meant to pursue Him alone. Come as you are. Pursue God together.

    When You Don’t Feel Qualified

What do you do when you don’t feel qualified for what God has called you to do? In week one of Imperfect People, we look at the story of Moses and the gap between our weaknesses and God’s calling. Moses asked, “Who am I?” But instead of focusing on who Moses was, God revealed who He is: “I AM WHO I AM.” Our weaknesses do not disqualify us from being used by God. His grace is sufficient, His power is made perfect in weakness, and He is everything we’re not. When you don’t have what it takes, He does.

    God Math

What do you do when life doesn’t add up? Through the story of Job, Andrew Zajicek reminds us that even when we don’t understand what God is doing—or can’t seem to find Him—we can still trust Him. Sometimes our hardest seasons move us from simply hearing about God to truly seeing Him. “My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you.” — Job 42:5

What Does God Have Planned for Me NOW?

What does God have planned for you next—and what might He be doing in you right now? Pastor Conrad Bess teaches from John 15 about what it means to abide in Jesus, trust God through seasons of pruning, and bear lasting fruit. Instead of becoming consumed with what comes next, we can fix our eyes on Jesus and faithfully follow Him today. The life God has for us isn’t found by striving on our own. It grows from staying connected to the true Vine. Apart from Jesus we can do nothing, but when we abide in Him, our lives produce fruit that glorifies God and fills us with joy.

    Flip The Fomo

What if your fear of missing out on something better is causing you to miss what God is doing right where you are? In this message, Doug Wekenman challenges us to stop looking to the left and right at all the paths we could have taken—and become fully present on the path God has placed before us. When life becomes difficult, it’s easy to question our decisions, compare our reality to someone else’s highlight reel, or assume resistance means we chose incorrectly. But the winds being against you doesn’t always mean you’re going the wrong way. God’s plans often require grit, commitment, and the faith to stay. Instead of constantly chasing the next opportunity, relationship, city, church, or season, what would happen if you planted yourself in God’s presence today? Don’t allow FOMO to drain your energy or keep you double-minded. Double down on the life God has given you, trust Him with what comes next, and build a story worth having.
