Wayback Wednesday: Heavy Metal for Jesus

It’s Wayback Wednesday! God spoke to Moses through a burning bush, and to “Kuba” Kubinski through a burning monster truck. We talked with him in 2010 about his unique ministry that reached out to the “rude, crude, and tattooed.” First released March 28, 2010 THE LORD spoke to Moses through a burning bush. He spoke to Scotland “Kuba” Kubinski through a burning monster truck. That’s the beginning of a story that’s led to The Full Armor of God, a unique ministry that reaches out to the the “rude, crude, and tattooed” through the music they like--hardcore and heavy metal. Kuba also works through The Full Armor of God Task Force, a paranormal research ministry that helps ghost hunters who have discovered that the supernatural world is real, and that there are good reasons God told us not to mess with it. Note: “Kuba” Kubinski lost his life in a tragic motorcycle accident on his way home from a Christmas toy drive for children in December 2015. Wayback Wednesday: Stopping Sleep Paralysis

It’s Wayback Wednesday! Sometimes, bad dreams are more than just bad dreams. This week, we go back sixteen years to a discussion on how to make night terrors stop. First released May 10, 2010 REPORTS OF sleep paralysis are so widespread and so common throughout history that one would think science would have nailed the cause by now. The phenomenon is more complex than bad dreams, and far more real. For more information, see the website Stop Sleep Paralysis, and read the testimonies of people who’ve ended these terrifying episodes by calling on the authority of Jesus Christ. Iron and Myth 54: The Gospel According to Godzilla

CHAOS IS one of the great enemies of God. And there is no greater depiction of chaos on a movie screen than Godzilla. Christians can use Hollywood’s portrayal of kaiju—giant monsters—to open serious discussions of the Bible is our regular Iron and Myth panel: Dr. Judd Burton (BurtonBeyond.net), author of Interview With the Giant; Doug Van Dorn (DouglasVanDorn.com), author of Battle for the Bible’s Truth: Genesis, Jesus, and the Second Century Plot to Deny the Messiah; and Brian Godawa (Godawa.com), best-selling author of Daniel: Exile in Babylon, the first novel in a trilogy about the life of Daniel. We discuss the biblical symbolism of chaos monsters like Leviathan and Behemoth, their representation in mythology and movies, and their theological significance. In particular, we focus on the new series of Godzilla movies by Legendary Pictures in which Godzilla and his monstrous colleagues are rebranded as “Titans—the original and rightful rulers of earth.” If you’ve followed us for any length of time, you know we generally agree that the Titans of Greco-Roman myth (i.e., religion) are the “sons of God” from Genesis 6:1–4 who, like the Titans, are confined in the bottomless pit—Tartarus (2 Peter 2:4). Wayback Wednesday: Freemasons and the Founding of America

It’s Wayback Wednesday! The 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence has come and gone. Researcher and author Peter Levenda talked with us in 2009 about the influence of Freemasonry on the founding of the United States. First released December 9, 2009 ASK 13 people about the Freemasons and you’ll get 33 different opinions.  Are they a Luciferian cult that’s been plotting world domination for centuries, or are they just a fraternal group that likes to hang out together, volunteer in their communities, and drive funny little cars in parades?  Our guest tonight has researched the roots of Freemasonry and the Craft’s influence on the United States. Peter Levenda, author of the new book The Secret Temple: Masons, Mysteries, and the Founding of America, discussed the history, rituals, and symbols of Freemasonry, the brotherhood’s connection to groups like Scientology, Theosophy, and the Mormons, and why it all matters. Wayback Wednesday: The Spirit Molecule

It’s Wayback Wednesday! In 2010, Dr. Rick Strassman joined us to discuss his compelling and controversial book, DMT: The Spirit Molecule, where he claimed the key to accessing the spirit realm was the key ingredient in ayahuasca. First released August 1, 2010 THE PORTAL to the spirit world may be inside your head.  Author and professor of psychiatry Dr. Rick Strassman makes the case in his book DMT: The Spirit Molecule that a substance found in plants and the human body may be the key to unlocking that portal. In 1990, Dr. Strassman began the first new US government approved and funded clinical research with psychedelic drugs in over twenty years. His work with N,N-dimethyltryptamine, or DMT, raises more questions than it answered. And as Dr. Strassman admits, quite a few people -- from enthusiasts of the drug culture to practitioners of traditional religions -- will be disturbed by his analysis. Most of all, brain researchers may object to the idea that DMT affects the brain’s ability to receive information rather than generating perceptions -- especially when those perceptions are of realms inhabited by conscious entities. Wayback Wednesday: The Deep State and UFO Cults

It’s Wayback Wednesday! We continue our Summer of Disclosure programs with a 2010 interview with the brilliant Paul and Philip Collins about the intelligence community’s work to encourage the belief that we’ve been visited by ETs. First released July 11, 2010 FOLLOWING UP our discussion of ufology and “alien” theology last week, we continue to examine the alien gospel with Paul and Phillip Collins, authors of The Ascendancy of the Scientific Dictatorship: An Examination of Epistemic Autocracy, From the 19th to the 21st Century. The brothers Collins make the case that elements within the intelligence community have deliberately and systematically encouraged the belief that we’ve been visited by intelligent life from other worlds. Oddly, people who claim to have met these visitors say many of these uninvited guests are bringing the same message Adam and Eve heard in the Garden: “Ye shall be as gods.”

    Angels, Giants, and UFOs

It’s rare to find a book on the UFO phenomenon that sheds new light on a subject that has been examined by researchers, scientists, and Hollywood since 1947. Author Will Blesch (williamblesch.com) joined us to discuss his new book, In the Shadow of Goliath, the interconnectedness of angels, Nephilim, UFOs, and biblical prophecy, shedding light on hidden histories and biblical perspectives that challenge mainstream narratives. Iron and Myth 53: Aliens, Angels, and the Gospel According to Spielberg

This was supposed to be the summer of disclosure. What happened? We were told that the new Steven Spielberg film Disclosure Day would challenge our faith and causes to question the truth contained in the Bible. While Spielberg’s film failed to accomplish that lofty goal, the evangelist of the “ancient aliens” gospel continue to promote their view of the creation of the world and the origins of humanity. Joining us to discuss how Christians can use Hollywood’s portrayal of non-human intelligences to open serious discussions of the Bible is our regular Iron and Myth panel: Dr.
