Sean Lennon...

Never prejudge. Thought Sean might be a twit...turns out he’s an eloquent/incredibly articulate dude, even when discussing slippery concepts. It couldn’t have been easy having Jesus for a dad (GODHEAD). Love banging his Mom’s tune “Yes, I’m a Witch,” when I shower in the morning 👩‍🎤🚦🍌

Mark’s podcast

I used to be turned off with this podcast because it seemed too lengthy: An hour plus?

I don’t know how he does it but he has the most refreshing guests, plus with his skill of keeping the conversation on track I don’t find the time. I want to hear more from his guests. Being a good listener doesn’t hurt.

At times, the podcast drags but whose podcast doesn’t?

Mark and Alec B. are the two best personalities in the podcast biz. Too bad Katie Couric and Tina Brown quit too soon I think.

Sometimes good, sometimes painful

I find Maron's conversations with comedians to generally be the best ones, as well as those with people he actually has a history with. His stated m.o. is to not do much advance research on his subjects - sometimes that doesn't matter if the person is engaging enough, but it can result in some disastrous shows (the one with Joan Jett comes to mind). Also, lately I tend to skip over the long intros, which are very self-involved, to put it kindly. Despite all that, Maron deserves a lot of respect for carving out a large swath in the podcast world, as well as for scoring some very high level guests (Obama, McCartney). Sometimes you have to take the bad with the good, I guess.
