This podcast is the best ever. Dr Mohler covers so many topics. I listen to the Briefing every night before I go to bed. I really enjoy listening to the Briefing. Dr Mohler does a phenomenal job.

As a evangelical Christian who has followed your ministry for some time, I am deeply concerned about your one-sided criticism and hyper focus on only a few Christian concerns of our age. I take no issue with your criticism of abortion, gender-fluidity, or DEI mandates, however it is quite clear that you only focus on these concerns, neglecting many other weighty matters. It is partisan: sins of the Democratic Party are called out and focused on, with a pronounced absence of those in the Republican camp, except for an occasional soft-ball. But the reality is that the sins being committed by Trump and his loyalists are not little-league—they are destroying and endangering the very fabric of our democracy and world peace. Matt 23:23.

Al Mohler has got to be one of the busiest humans on earth to do a show like this every day and still fulfill all his other leadership roles. Every morning there is thoughtful and relevant content that challenges listeners to think biblically in light of the current news and events. My only complaint is he tends to fixate on certain topics such as abortion and LGBTQ (important issues for sure) but can ignore other stories. This can make listening feel redundant some mornings. However, Overall this show is a real blessing to so many believers!

I’ve been listening to this podcast on and off for a few years now. I sometimes enjoy a different perspective on the world news. As someone who was raised Christian, I remain interested in the Christian worldview as it pertains to current events. But at this point in 2025, the extreme political bias is just wild to me. There are massive stories occurring within the Trump administration on a near daily basis and it seems that this podcast is fine with turning a blind eye and not attempting to give an account of the monumental impact the administration’s executive orders are having on people’s lives….unless of course it has to do with the LGBTQ agenda or abortion. Those seem to be the primary stories this podcast covers. If Albert Mohler believes these are the most important issues to cover, so be it, but it does a disservice to the audience to completely ignore other major life-altering world events.

The Briefing gives me a view of national and world news with a perspective that we never hear on main news outlets. Rather than just being frustrated by some events, I love being reminded that this world indeed is not my eternal home. I should not be surprised when the culture around me is counter to God’s ways, & I’m helped to respond in truth and in love. Thank you, Dr. Mohler!

Outstanding coverage of news stories with a great deal of context and depth as needed. Effective communication without the drama of Megyn Kelly or classical repetition of Victor Hansen.

I’ve been listening to The Briefing off and on over the last several years, primarily to see if I’m missing anything from my “Christian worldview” by listening to Church Politics, Means Morning News, and the mainstream news. The Briefing always disappoints. The “Christian worldview” Dr. M preaches is almost perfectly inline with the Republican Party at every step. Nearly every issue is black and white, with “clear worldview implications,” whether it’s abortion, war, or media coverage. The elites are woke, the feminists are evil, and the Republicans are your flawed but hardy champions. I believe this podcast is misleading, narrow-minded, and heavily extrabiblical, but that’s for you to discern on your own. At a minimum, please seek the whole story from other sources (not WORLD news, also run by Mohler) for issues that really convict you. God bless.
