We’re two American moms raising families in Germany, and this summer we did travel completely differently. One of us went the more German route with an all-inclusive family vacation in Tunisia, while the other stayed local, took public transportation, explored Germany, and traveled more off the beaten path. We’re talking about what we loved, what we didn’t love, whether all-inclusive vacations are actually worth it, traveling with kids without relying on screens, and why sometimes the best travel experiences come from talking to the people who actually live there.
