    NFL preseason football is officially heating up! In this episode of Brittany Between the Chaos, I recap Thursday Night Football and break down the biggest takeaways from the San Francisco 49ers vs. Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders vs. Houston Texans preseason matchups. The 49ers dominated the Chargers 41–17, with Brock Purdy getting one offensive series while players like Jacob Cowing, De'Zhaun Stribling, Kaelon Black and Sincere McCormick made their cases for bigger roles. Jacob Cowing's 83-yard punt return touchdown was one of the biggest plays of the night. Then we head to Houston, where the Raiders came back from a 20–3 halftime deficit to beat the Texans 22–20. Rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza struggled in his second preseason game, while C.J. Stroud made his preseason debut and efficiently led Houston on a scoring drive.     One Year After Charlie Kirk’s Killing: The Tyler Robinson Evidence—and the SD Card Mystery

    Charlie Kirk and Tyler Robinson are at the center of a case that continues to raise major questions about evidence, motive, the death penalty, and what happened in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk shooting. As the one-year anniversary of Charlie Kirk’s death approaches, the Tyler Robinson case is moving toward another major legal development. In this episode of Brittany Between the Chaos, I break down the latest developments in the Tyler Robinson case, including the evidence prosecutors say connects Robinson to the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University, the fight over whether the death penalty should remain on the table, and the legal arguments surrounding the prosecution’s alleged aggravating circumstances. We’re also looking at the evidence presented during the Tyler Robinson preliminary hearing, including the alleged political motive, messages attributed to Robinson, DNA evidence, surveillance footage, the ammunition inscription prosecutors say is significant, and the prosecution’s argument that the shooting created a risk to other people in the crowd. But there’s another part of this case that I think deserves a closer look. Candace Owens has released and discussed footage involving an SD card from a camera positioned behind Charlie Kirk in the immediate aftermath of the shooting. The footage raises questions about why the SD card was removed, who knew that camera was there, what happened to the card afterward, and whether there is a documented chain of custody for the footage. I’m not saying the SD card footage proves a conspiracy. I’m not saying we know what the people involved were thinking or communicating. But I do think it’s fair to ask questions — especially when we're talking about potentially important evidence in a criminal investigation. And that’s really what this episode is about: what do we actually know, what is being alleged, what is being disputed, and what questions still need answers? We’ll also look at the latest fight over the Tyler Robinson death penalty, why prosecutors believe the legal requirements have been met, why the defense disagrees, and what the upcoming September 1 court arguments could mean for the case moving forward.
